I don't really care about trophies in a competitive sense, the system's far too broken for that. I just play and complete whatever I feel like - long or short, hard or easy, it doesn't matter. And everyone else can do as they please too.

People spend money on dumber things, like micro-transactions.

For most people, the actual game is the game and getting trophies is a mini game. For some people though, getting the platinum trophies is the main game and the actual games are the mini-games.

I’m probably not gonna bother with the DLC trophies after reading some of the replies here.
