  1. #35 Persona 5 (PS4) At time of posting this is the longest single game grind I have done, without really taking a break of more than a few days, to date with the final save file time clocking in at 96 hours 11 minutes. Time to beat the base game was 86 hours 27 and then roughly another 10 to grind and get to the Secret Boss in NG+. I'd attempted a full run through before, back during lockdown in April 2020, but got burnt out and also pulled into playing FF14 from scratch again (I got back into that again on the PS4 this year but it will be a long time before that plat pops), the guide I was following was also subpar and had missed a few things so that run was dead about 60 hours in. This time was different, the guide here on PSNP is incredible. Seriously it's a work of art as much as it is an informative guide and @Optinooby deserves a damn medal. Overall this game's story is great and I very much enjoyed seeing where it all ended up especially towards the end where all the treads that are hinted at via the scenes with Sae finally come together. Finally I'll close this with my favorite moment on the run. Everybody going for the Plat in this game knows what a headache Passionate Listener can be. The sequel to True Rissette Fan, it requires you to listen to 250 unique lines of Futabas navigation dialog with almost every battle action/effect for every character having a line. I'd been using a spreadsheet to try and keep track of it and by the end of the mementos boss battle I had 245 lines noted down. Knew I'd missed a few but thought that was a good guess and had been farming some of the lines that only show up for status effects that happen in the last boss fight. Eventually they were just repeating so I had resigned to reloading a safety save in Mementos proper to farm lines that way but on the bosses final massive attack Futaba used her Final Guard ability which has 2 lines associated with it. And I'd already heard one of them. So as she is screaming "Noooooo!" and saves me from certain death I am shouting "YEEEES!" as the trophy pops in the corner. Immense satisfaction. Good work Phantoms Thieves, see you again soon in Strikers.
  2. # 34 Red Dead Redemption (PS3) This game is one of the reasons I bought a PS3. It has the first trophy I earned and is also the longest gap I have between starting a game and 100% completing it. I actually saved the platinum until it was the last trophy I could earn to get to 100% by not doing the mounted weapon kills one in the base game. The multiplayer can be a little scuffed and some of the DLC is a bastard (looking at you lady gaga reference) but this game is amazing even 10 years after release. For a PS3 game it looks incredible, Rockstar has always been good at open world stuff but the fact that you can ride from one end of the map to the other with multiple events happening along the way at a consistent framerate is nuts for something the size of this on the PS3. Undead Nightmare may be the best DLC I have ever played. I love this game and now that it's done I can finally progress past the first chapter in RDR2. Yee-Haw.
  3. # 33 Maquette (PS5) Interesting story game with some fun world bending puzzles, the speedruns were a little tedious especially when missing them by a few seconds due to poor target selection a few of the pickup or because you get stuck when the object you are carrying refuses to be dropped. The green gem did that a few times in The Gateways when trying to drop it outside the porch. Overall though I enjoyed it.
  4. # 32 Astro's Playroom (PS5) For what is essentially a tech demo this is a very good platformer, the details on all the collectable pieces of Playstation history are amazing, the bots acting out scenes from old games is adorable, the controller tech that some of the stages showcase feels very next gen (in a good way). Overall I enjoyed my time banging around in the various internal parts of my PS5 and think this bodes well for games in the future. Also I can't get the GPU jungle music out of my brain...send help.
  5. CoryDriscoll, That Government Boy It was the first game I played on the PS3 and I'm finally going to plat it this month.
  6. Finish of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, you've almost done it! All you have left are the scout flies and the precursor orbs which you can find with a quick video guide
  7. # 31 Ratchet and Clank: Into The Nexus (PS3) Very short, least interesting R&C game I've played to date. It's not even long enough in challenge mode to level up all the weapons to max and grinding the arena challenges got boring very fast due to the low variety. One step closer to plating all the R&C games though which I want to do if the rumors of the PS3 and Vita stores going down is true.
  8. #30 Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition (PS3) Was fun to revisit this after over a decade. Had a loooot of crashes and freezes but I knew I'd get them on a PS3. Decided to do all the DLC before grabbing the plat, left Psychotic Prankster for last so that I could plant the grenade on Desmond as a final F-U to Point Lookout, my least favorite DLC.
  9. #29 Sly 2: Band of Thieves (PS3) My quest to finish the Sly series continues. Overall this was longer than Sly 1 but felt more "filler-y" than 1 did. Having to play in two levels per boss seemed a bit like overkill for everyone except Jean Bison since he had the most maguffins.
  10. #35 Flow (PS3) This games control scheme can jump in a pit of lava. It is so frustrating and even the gold trophy image is being difficult (it's there but it's transparent because yes?). It is finally out of my backlog and I never have to play it again.
  11. #28 Saints Row the Third (PS3) Still need to do the DLC but it was good to go back to this game after playing it on PC back in the day.
  12. #27 Persona 4: Dancing All Night (PS Vita) As a non-rhythm gamer I have no idea what the hell I was thinking going for this. Enjoyed the story mode though.
  13. Pretty sure that the PS3 would just recognise it as an external disk and ask you to format it as external storage. If you swapped the disk out with the one inside the other console and booted it then provided it can be updated to the current FW you could sign in to PSN and sync the trophies before doing whatever you want with the disk.
  14. You seem to have your plats well in hand, maybe try to be the best horrible goose you can or get a mate round and goose it up together.
  15. “My blaster runs really, really hot” from Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time. I cannot for the life of me get to 10,000 points. I’ve gotten to 7000 before but I suck at twin stick shooters.
