  1. That's a lot of work right there. Major props for that list, looks like I've got a few sale items I want to nab, too.
  2. Officially back at more trophies earned than unearned trophies!  Still going back and revisiting games that I never finished.  My wallet has definitely thanked me for that.

Yay! My wallet is cursing at me for giving so much money to Nintendo.

  3. Update: Coming up on the end of another holiday weekend. Got in a little bit of DSII. Set myself up to pop some more plats after the big guy takes the 150 spot, but it's slightly slow as my friend and I are more focused on just having fun with it rather than just barreling through as fast as we can. Dark Souls II - started at 50% --> currently at 85% Benhart and Lucatiel are all set up to finish their dialogue and borrow their gear. Just two more souls to trade with Straid and then a mad dash through NG++ to visit Wellager. It's going to be much faster to run through the four main bosses on NG++ than it will be to grind souls, so it's looking like that's the option we're going with. Planning to release Navlaan this time around to see what mischief he causes before I'm done with the game. Spyro 2 - started at 19% --> 06SEP2021 Control - 13% --> Currently at 78% It took me maybe 5 minutes of playing to remember why I stopped in the first place. Woo-wee. I only need to seize 3 or 4 more enemies to pop the plat, so even with the DLC I'm going to hold off so I don't accidentally make this game my 150 milestone. After I pop DSII, I'll return to this one to 100% if only because I said I would. FFVII - started at 10% --> currently at 98% I ran back through following a guide specifically for best bromance. 5 hour run and sitting outside North Corel to head to the Saucer to see if it worked. I'll find out after DSII. Dark Cloud - started at 0% --> 12NOV2021 Spyro 3 - started at 8% --> 30OCT2021 Call of Cthulhu - started at 22% --> I don't remember why I dropped this one to begin with, so I'll probably be starting over when I get to it. Naruto: UNS - started at 10% --> 01NOV2021 Greedfall - started at 14% --> Another game that I don't remember why I dropped it. Found a really in-depth guide that I'm going to be using, looking forward to this one after FFVII since I took Berserk off the list. Fernz Gate - started at 1% --> 12NOV2021 Antiquia Lost - started at 0% --> currently at 97% I'm sitting at 100 steps short so I don't pop the plat until after I finish DSII. Guide is awaiting review after initial revision per @Dreggit's wonderful guidance. Revenant Dogma - started at 0% --> currently at 5% Tried looking up information for the game and found it's in the same state that Antiquia was in. I'll just write down everything as I go again, planning on spending a couple hours on this one tomorrow. Gravity Rush - started at 5% --> currently at 10% I'm glad I picked this one up again, nice game to play during lunch or when I get a break at work. Except for the sliding levels. Those aren't too fun. So I've completed 5/12 games on my list, used 1/5 swaps (because Berserk deserves a milestone slot), and 1/2 games started above 33% (but still below 50%). The second guide is up for review, looks like I'll be publishing two guides over the course of this challenge. Sitting at 149 plats with a count of 3 plats waiting behind Dark Souls. I think my completion has gone up almost a full 2% since I started tackling my backlog.
  4. Hope everyone is having a great food day!

🦃 Hope you had a good one too!

  5. Update: Well, end of the long weekend. Didn't wind up getting a chance to play DSII because I got called in at the last second for a 24 hour duty. Over the 24 hours of dealing with a rowdy barracks over a long weekend, I compiled my notes for another guide that I'll be typing up over the week. Dark Souls II - started at 50% --> currently at 82% Did three battles with Lucatiel and getting ready to do three with Benhart. Just need the four old one souls and two spells from Wellager and BOOM! Spyro 2 - started at 19% --> 06SEP2021 Control - 13% --> Haven't touched it, yet. Plan is finished, I'll get to it eventually, maybe. FFVII - started at 10% --> currently at 86% I didn't get Best Bromance. But that's ok, since I would have to hold off on getting the plat anyway, I can just grind out the 99,999,999 gil and finish the game before I bring myself just before going to the Golden Saucer. After a few questions on the author Discord, it looks like I'm going to clicky-clack across the keyboard. For once, I started and finished a Vita game outside of my home. Sadly, it was all in one sitting. Which also defeats the purpose. Revenant Dogma - started at 0% --> currently at 5% Tried looking up information for the game and found it's in the same state that Antiquia was in. I'll just write down everything as I go again, but I don't want to do it during my lunch break, I'll set aside some time to sit comfortably for an hour a day and snag a different game for work. So I've completed 5/12 games on my list, used 1/5 swaps, and 1/2 games started above 33% (but still below 50%). The second guide is up for review, looks like I'll be publishing two guides over the course of this challenge. Sitting at 149 plats with a count of 2 plats waiting behind Dark Souls. I'm adding Gravity Rush as lucky number 13 to the challenge.
  6. Dark Souls II - started at 50% --> currently at 82% Game planning with my buddy, we plan on going into NG+ as Sun Bros so we can rack up those medals and level 3 that covenant. During NG+ I'm going to have to pay attention to Benhart and Lucatiel so I can get their gear as well as trade the last 4 souls to Straid. Trying to get to a soul level of 8mil to super expedite for Chancellor Wellager in NG++, otherwise it's a mad dash/speed run to him to finish out for the plat. Can't really finish anything on my list until this one is complete. Damn milestones and standards... Spyro 2 - started at 19% --> 06SEP2021 Control - 13% --> Haven't touched it, yet. Plan is finished, I'll get to it eventually, maybe. FFVII - started at 10% --> currently at 27% Got the limits for Aeris, Yuffie, and Red XII, nabbed Leviathan, and 5 starred a materia. My save is currently sitting outside Golden Saucer and we're going to see if I get Best Bromance after work tomorrow. If not, I'll just have to do a second 7 hour run after. Fingers crossed. After a few questions on the author Discord, it looks like I'm going to clicky-clack across the keyboard. For once, I started and finished a Vita game outside of my home. Sadly, it was all in one sitting. Which also defeats the purpose. Revenant Dogma - started at 0% --> Haven't started it. You're looking at my newest lunch game for work. I hope this one lasts me a couple weeks. So I've completed 5.99/12 games on my list, used 1/5 swaps, and 1/2 games started above 33% (but still below 50%). I've already gotten one guide published since the event started, and now I'm doing another one. Albeit, this game was WAY easier. Sitting at 149 plats with another on standby; wonder how many are going to be sitting there before I finally manage to finish DSII. My completion percentage is also steadily rising since I'm going back to finish games and my wallet is definitely happier with that, too. Only new games I've been playing recently are the ones in my library that I haven't started. Super glad I jumped in on this event.
  7. Update: These are a little more frequent than normal this week, but I need to make an update since I finished my game-on-the-go... while sitting on the couch. Oops. Looking like we're hitting this on Sunday. Spyro 2 - started at 19% --> 06SEP2021 Control - 13% --> Haven't touched it, yet. Plan is finished, I'll get to it eventually, maybe. FFVII - started at 10% --> currently at 15% Re-finished Cosmo Canyon and didn't pick it back up yet. After the last couple of set backs, I'm taking this one in small chunks until I get over it. Dark Cloud - started at 0% --> 12NOV2021 I enjoyed this stroll down memory lane immensely. Over the course of this 1 day and 18 hours I got two full nights of sleep, 8 hours a piece, went grocery shopping, went for a run, and still took 28th fastest on the leaderboard. It wasn't the intention, but I thought it was pretty cool when I noticed it. Spyro 3 - started at 8% --> 30OCT2021 Call of Cthulhu - started at 22% --> I don't remember why I dropped this one to begin with, so I'll probably be starting over when I get to it. Naruto: UNS - started at 10% --> 01NOV2021 Greedfall - started at 14% --> Another game that I don't remember why I dropped it. Been looking at gameplay and don't understand why I would unless I just got busy with work and forgot about it. Fernz Gate - started at 1% --> 12NOV2021 Like I said, I finished my Vita game-on-the-go while I was sitting on the couch waiting for my friend to get done with errands so we could mop up DSII. a few hours later, bing bang boom. A wild plat appeared. So I've completed 5/10 games on my list, used 1/5 swaps, and 1/2 games started above 33% (but still below 50%). I will be adding Antiquia Lost and Revenant Dogma to bring me up to a total of 12 games, giving me two more games-on-the-go that I will inevitably wind up finishing at home. Currently sitting at 149 plats, so the next completion will be DSII. I'll keep making progress on the others as I plod along and slowly turn hollow.
  8. Plat 148 goes to Dark Cloud.  I had an excellent time dashing down memory lane.  I even took 28th place on the fastest achievers list.  Kind of ironic seeing as I got 8 hours of sleep two nights in a row, went grocery shopping, and went for a run within those 1 day, 18 hours.  If I had known I was going to be that fast I could've actually planned it out.  Oh well.

  9. Update: A bit early in the week, and not much progress, but my weekend starts tomorrow and I need to make a swap. Berserk - started at 4% --> currently at 67% I brought Schierke up to layer 61 start and missed a behelit (again) on floor 50~51. I also realized it doesn't make sense to keep this on my challenge list even though I could easily finish it within the time limit since I want to use it as milestone 175. So after 63 hours of play time, I will be swapping it out with Dark Cloud for some reminiscing and what I consider some light hack and slash in juxtaposition to Dark Souls. Fernz Gate - started at 1% --> Currently at 26% Progress halted when I started my power-leveling to 999 in the Metal Region. Currently at 923 with all characters. The rest are probably going to pop relatively quickly as I run through the rest of the bosses/arenas/dungeons and go loot-crazy to synthesize some monster weapons. TLDR; swapped out a game to give it a place of honor on my page, analyzed my avenue of approach with the monster on my list, and have been grinding like crazy with my game-on-the-go. Hope everyone is having a productive week; enjoying reading about people's discoveries and how they're overcoming obstacles on games. Been making notes for the games on my list of games that I maybe/might/possibly play some day in the near or distant future from some of the things being said.
  10. Update: Was feeling refreshed and knocked out a few challenges. Feels good taking my Vita to sit in the van while I'm at work; feels good to be playing something instead of trying to get a 10 minute nap in during my last 30 minutes of lunch. Dark Souls II - started at 50% --> currently at 82% Finished rounding up all the spells from the first playthrough. Darklurker really REALLY sucked. I lost approximately 250k souls, finally broke down and grinded out a few levels to get my first attunement slot (I've been playing without magic the whole time), infused and upgraded a whole new set for resistances, went through 83 effigies, 12 old radiant lifegems, 5 bright bugs, used 8 bonfire ascetics at Crestfallen's Retreat for effigy farming, and to top it all of, I forgot to re-equip the set and staff before I went in for the last attempt, so I beat Darlurker with my normal armor and no magic anyway. Talk about wasting time and resources. After that, Vendrick was pretty damn easy. I also finished off Navlaan's questline without killing anyone. Ready for NG+, but I'm going to stay away from DS2 until next weekend, I'm about Soulsed out after that. Spyro 2 - started at 19% --> 06SEP2021 Control - 13% --> Haven't touched it, yet. Plan is finished, I'll get to it eventually, maybe. FFVII - started at 10% --> currently at 15% I went from my save outside of Cosmo Canyon, forgot I found out the hard way the glitch didn't work anymore and then continued. Got all the way to Nibelheim, tried to get Tifa's level 4 limit and then remembered you can't get it until after you get the Highwind. Then I went to get Red XIII's level 4 limit and got wiped. That's when I went to load up and realized I hadn't saved. Closed the game and I'll work on it after work, but I couldn't play it after that. Berserk - started at 4% --> currently at 67% Made my collection list, I'm better off than I thought I was. I brought Zodd up to layer 81 start and missed a behelit on floor 75 (ugh). Brought Schierke up to layer 21 start and I'll continue from there. I'm thinking I'll just bring all remaining characters up to layer 81 start and check them all off one after another. Fernz Gate - started at 1% --> Currently at 18% I'm glad I added this one so I had something to do during lunch at work. I don't know why I stopped playing games on my Vita, but I'm glad I started again. I'll probably finish this one sometime during the week after next. I decided DS2 is going to be my 150, Berserk is probably going to be my 175. Anyone see the Gameplay Preview for Elden Ring? Looks like I'm going to have another game that's going to repetitively curb-stomp my frustrations that I'm going to wind up playing anyway.
  11. Finally Updating: I'm not going to count Astro's Playroom since I hadn't officially included it before I decided to switch things up. Work has been more worky than usual, but now that I'm back in civilization again I'm going ham. Dark Souls II - started at 50% --> currently at 71% Still need to finish up the cleanup in the first playthrough. Doing an area with a buddy this Friday then I'm going to grind out solo areas to start new game +. Then a mad dash through ++. Spyro 2 - started at 19% --> 06SEP2021 Control - 13% --> Haven't touched it, yet. Plan is finished, I'll get to it eventually. FFVII - started at 10% --> currently at 15% I just couldn't bring myself to get back into this one for some reason. I'll probably get back to this after finishing DSII or Berserk. Maybe. Berserk - started at 4% --> currently at 66% Griffith is done with the Endless Eclipse (2/8 down!). Brought Wylde up through level 80 and Zodd through level 20. I'm going to put the collection list on an Excel so make tracking easier, I'm going to grind out equipment while doing the rest of the characters to cut out as much grinding as possible. Spyro 3 - started at 8% --> 30OCT2021 Started losing the fun around the third hub world. I am extremely grateful I didn't need 100% collection for this one. Call of Cthulhu - started at 22% --> I don't remember why I dropped this one to begin with, so I'll probably be starting over when I get to it. Naruto: UNS - started at 10% --> 01NOV2021 Enjoyed it immensely until Cannon Master. I think I spent an hour over two days trying to line up perfectly for that one trophy. Definitely had the anime going while playing it (Currently back at the Kankuro/Shino fight while typing this). Greedfall - started at 14% --> Another game that I don't remember why I dropped it. Been looking at gameplay and don't understand why I would unless I just got busy with work and forgot about it. Fernz Gate - started at 1% --> I had originally started this on leave and was going to be playing it with my mom, but I kinda love these Kemco games and how they force you to obtain all the collectables and grind out max levels and secret bosses in their format so I won't be waiting until I go home next. I think I'll probably stop short on either DSII or Berserk and save one of those for plat 150 since I'm so close. Definitely cabinet material. I'm enjoying the planning aspect of tackling different genres as well actually playing the games. Feels good to slow down and soak in some story rather than mad-dash for acquisition again.
  12. Long week in the field, feels good to be back in a building with heat and a bed.  I feel ready to veg out and knock out some trophies when the weekend finally catches up!

      kingofbattle8174

Welcome back, I cant imagine Wainwright in November. I was at JBER for 3 years and that was cold enough. Enjoy the heat and relax time.

  13. End of week update: Got caught up with completing some games that weren't part of the challenge due to burnout. I also started and completely finished a game that wasn't on my list: Astro's Playroom. Don't know if that counts or not. Dark Souls II - started at 50% --> currently at 71% Still need to finish up the cleanup in the first playthrough. I plan to do this after returning from some work stuff (going to be gone for around 10 days). Spyro 2 - started at 19% --> 06SEP2021 Control - 13% --> Haven't touched it, yet. Plan is finished, will be working on this one after finishing either DSII or Berserk. FFVII - started at 10% --> currently at 15% I just couldn't bring myself to get back into this one for some reason. I'll probably get back to this after finishing DSII or Berserk. Berserk - started at 4% --> currently at 66% Griffith is done with the Endless Eclipse (2/8 down!). Brought Wylde up through level 80 and Zodd through level 20. I'd like to add Spyro 3 (8%), Call of Cthulhu (22%), Naruto: UNS (10%), Greedfall (14%), and Fernz Gate (1%). I think the slightly broader selection of games will helps me focus on the challenge and stop burning out due to a narrow selection of games.
  14. End of week update: Didn't exactly do what I had planned, lost momentum with a stark realization and shifted gears a little bit. If it hadn't been for the accountability of this challenge, I probably would have just opened my library and started a game I hadn't played yet. Dark Souls II - started at 50% --> currently at 71% My friend got caught up in Metroid Dread, so we're planning on hitting up the Frozen Eleum Loyce section this Friday instead. This is probably going to be as far as I get in progression for DSII until after I get back from some upcoming work stuff. Thankfully, this is the last big thing (currently on the calendar) until March, so I'll have time to really dig into some Souls soon enough. Spyro 2 - started at 19% --> 06SEP2021 Control - 13% --> Haven't touched it, yet. Started working on a plan when I had some downtime. Didn't know there was a cheese method to the plat, but I don't plan on using it unless I get stuck. The game was interesting with what I had done before my ADHD yoinked me elsewhere. FFVII - started at 10% --> currently at 15% Found out the Affection Glitch is no longer a thing, may have to replay part of it, oh well. That took the wind out of my sails a bit, but I'm going to be careful not to miss anything else so I only have to go back for one very miserable, very missable trophy. Berserk - started at 4% --> currently at 54% Beat the story, got Guts through 100 (ugh, Femto). Started working on Griffith. The appeal of the slaughter has worn off, but I'm strangely looking forward to the difficulty of those last 5 layers with some of the weaker characters. Copy/pasted part of the guide onto an excel spreadsheet so I could keep track of accessories a little more easily. Completion percentage is finally coming up a bit; I think I may be able to get my trophies unearned below my number of total trophies before the challenge is over.
  15. End of week update: Got surprised by work at the last second and sent to the field for medical coverage. Missed out on a lot of time I had planned for, but tried to make up for it when I got back. Dark Souls II - started at 50% --> currently at 71% Finished out the Brume Tower area (was originally DLC) with a buddy this weekend, we're planning on hitting up the Frozen Eleum Loyce section next. Still want to finish the Navlaan questline and Darklurker before continuing on to NG+, but I think once I crest that hill it'll be mostly auto-pilot as long as I don't forget where my NPCs are for their equipment questlines. Spyro 2 - started at 19% --> 06SEP2021 Control - 13% --> Haven't touched it, yet. Still haven't put together a plan for this one, but will do so after the next 100% completion. FFVII - started at 10% --> currently at 15% Left off at trying to work the Barret affection glitch. Don't know just how much I'm going to manage to get done this week, but this game is getting ready to become my main game to work on. Berserk - started at 4% --> currently at 13% Looking forward to getting back into the rampant slaughter-fest at the end of the work week. Story mode and a Behelit hunt, then it'll be on to the Eclipse. I wish work hadn't made such an uptick in tempo right after joining the event, but life happens. I'll be taking about two weeks of leave around January, but I'll likely be working on my next set of five by then.
