  1. First thing first, setting the difficulty to 91 is enough to get the trophy. CAUTION: DON'T CHANGE THE DIFFICULTY SETTINGS after choosing it, doing so would prevent you from unlocking both If in Doubt... & ...Flatout. If you happen to change the difficulty for whatever reason, as long as you don't finish any event with your newly set difficulty, you are good to switch back to your original difficulty, trophies will pop normally (thanks @x7eight & @OBSTINATIO). If you already changed it since you started and finished an event, you'll either have to wait for a patch or reset your progress (Settings -> Profile -> Progress reset) and start over from the beginning :/ (source). This should be fixed with patch 1.14 (version 1.24 on PS4) that was pushed on the 5th of may 2020. Before starting this DLC go to your settings and check "Input Reporting" under controls and test your (throttle) responsiveness. Your could be busted and not be able to reach 100% sensitivity, making this challenge even harder for no good reasons. (https://imgur.com/yP4EppM) (thanks @vujos) Sometimes the game glitches out, giving you impossible times to beat, if you find yourself trailing behind the opponents with a 15-20 seconds difference using my times, you've been hit by this glitch (thanks @Ghost-TeamX). Here are steps you can take to avoid it (not fixed with the 1.14 patch): You can do the events in any order you want. For visual guidance and getting an idea of the pace you should drive at, you can find videos of the events in Very Hard right here, driven with the hood/bonnet cam (doesn't include the first two Scotland events as well as the four other events where you only have to avoid damage; Sweden - Wales - Argentina - Greece) (Big thanks @Ghost-TeamX) (This videos were done prior to patch 1.14, some events requirement have slightly changed since that). If you prefer to drive with the chase cam, you can find a full list here (thanks @xElectrizz-Game) I've tried the same events multiple times, with the same difficulty settings, and the times are always exactly the same (I cannot vouch for 3-10 Australia though, the one where your teammate retires, I only tried this one once). Following is just a bunch of info about the times you should aim for during each track of those "championship" events, remember to pick soft tyres (yes, even in Monte-Carlo) and ditch the spare wheel when possible (times in parentheses are either the AI ranked 1st or 2nd, depending on my times, that way you can check after each track if the championship has glitched on you, or if you're good to continue): Here's a list of setups to improve the handling of the car on different events (link to the post with the setup) (thanks @Scoorpox - @MajloHS93): Note: As of patch 1.14, some of these events difficulty have been changed (mainly 1 track events), 3-6 became harder (a 2 seconds improvement overall) and 1-5 became easier (10 seconds slower overall), the times in the spoilers have been updated accordingly. Thanks @Matej558 for warning me about the patch. 1-5 New Zealand - Finish less than a minute behind 1st place 2-5 Finland - Finish in the top 10 with heavy damages and a 2 minutes penalty 3-3 New Zealand - Win with a 40 seconds advantage or more 3-5 Spain - Finish in front of your Spanish and Italian teammates 3-6 Wales - Finish 1st with a 30 seconds lead 3-8 Greece - Finish in front of your Spanish teammate with a 1 minute lead 3-10 Australia - Finish 1st and beat your Swedish teammate 3-11 Monte-Carlo - Finish less than 1 minute behind your Spanish rival 3-12 Greece - Get a 20 seconds lead over 5 tracks 4-2 Wales - Finish 5th after 3 tracks 4-4 Greece - Beat your Spanish teammate with a 23 seconds lead 4-6 Sweden - Finish in the top 10 with a faulty gearbox 4-9 Wales - Finish 7th or better Drove all events with all assists off, default car settings, automatic gears, and a DS4 controller, except those: All the events with the Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500, had to put TCS and ESP on 5. The final event with the MG Metro 6R4, had to put ESP on 3. If you're having visibility problems during Sweden events, try to reduce the brightness and raising the colour settings on your TV (thanks @Steef187 for the tip). 4-8 Finish with an average speed of 105 km/h or better (changed from 106 km/h & 66 mph as of 1.14) I've got a 7:25.xxx (if I remember correctly), that averaged to 105.6 km/h. Then got a 6:58.873 which averaged to 109.8 km/h. If you're playing in metrics, it may be a good idea to set your speed to imperial because 65 mph = 104.607 km/h (requirements are 105 km/h & 65 mph). (thanks @x7eight) 4-11 Finish with an average speed of 113 km/h or better and no mechanical damages (changed from 113 km/h and below medium damages as of 1.14) I've got a 6:53.3xx (if I remember correctly), that averaged to 113.1 km/h, sadly hit a tree that negated this run. Then got a 6:48.650 which averaged to 114.5 km/h. If you're playing in metrics, it may be a good idea to set your speed to imperial because 70 mph = 112.65 km/h (requirements are 113 km/h & 70 mph). (thanks @x7eight)
  2. @RevoCHX & @closertim Congratulations on the 100% guys, nice to see people still going for, and conquering this challenge 👍 TrueTrophies says I'm at 91h05. Would've thought I had more hours into the game as well, though each minutes spend on it was a bliss!
  3. So, after beating Juzo Amon and getting "A Man Among Amons", I never got "Elementary, My Dear" to pop afterward. Am I missing something or has it glitched on me? I'm not finding anything online about it happening to someone else, both trophies on psnprofiles have the same number of achievers, so I'm guessing they pop back to back... Is finishing the gauntlet required for the trophy? Otherwise I'm on 42/42 side cases and nothing here. Thankfully I have a save just before the fight, so far I've tried those things : Beat him on patch 1.0 Reloading the game and beating him again on 1.0 Restarting the application and beating him again on 1.0 Updating the game on 1.004.000 and beating him this way Restarting the PS5 and beating him on 1.004.000 once again Beating him after finishing the main story on 1.0 Beat him again on 1.0 after doing pretty much everything else, to get the last Master System game I needed for "TownGo Tour Guide" & "TownGo Master" Switching the game on easy, beating him yet another time and skipping the final cutscene, on 1.004.000 Gave it another shot after deleting my user profile, clearing the cache, rebuilding the database and re seting my user account, nothing, 1.004.000. I'd understand if it gliched on me once, but 9 times so far I'm wondering if I'm not missing something... Funnily enough, "TownGo Master" popped correctly, so the game does realise I've finished the 42 side cases (since it's required towards the 100%,), so it's not like one of the side cases had a glitched registering completion or anything, otherwise this one wouldn't have popped either. The TownGo app is stating 42/42 side cases completed, and the cases app as well. EDIT: Well, managed to get it in the end. After finishing my Legendary playthrough I kept on going and redid every side cases, and this time after beating Juzo it popped correctly when the quest ended. I was still playing on the same save file. The only things I did differently was that I started the NG+ on patch 1.004.000 (but I don't see this being the issue, I'm not sure I'm not the only one who played the game on 1.0) and I did the side quests in a different order (ending with #41-40-42). Just bad luck in the end.
  4. Retiring causes that yeah, but if you're retiring to end the championship and start anew, it shouldn't mess with the next one you start. Impossible times can also happen when you quit to the main menu in a multi stage events (as far I know, thanks to other people findings), which is why it's recommended to do them in one go (using PS rest mode does work though). If even after doing that the game messes up the very next time you start a new event you could try and delete your save file yeah. It is indeed synced iirc, but you can delete it by going in Settings -> Profile -> Progress reset (do it at your own risk obviously, can't say if it would fix your issue or not). Before doing that maybe try reinstalling | redownloading the game first? Wondering if this could come from a corrupted installation...
  5. Haha, I get that, was doing the same honestly, tried to push like a madman on the first stages to have more leeway on the last bunch to avoid having to restart everything. But yeah, like you said, the first few events were rough, but it was mostly a matter of getting used to the difficulty and honing down the skills required to get through it (and knowing most of those tracks by hearts as well). Yeah knowing each part of the stage is crucial to get through those events, you can count on your reflexes from time to time but it sadly is more of a matter of remembering each hazards than reacting to those hazards. Skill is needed obviously, but there's pretty much nothing you can about that silly tiny rock that your copilot doesn't warn you about except learning from it and restarting... Sometime this decade seems like an achievable goal ^^ Are you talking about the glitch were the opponents times are pretty much impossible to beat, or another one (asking cause I never heard of this one fixing itself)? I've never got hit by this glitch myself, but yeah you'd have to retire from every races left in the tournament to restart it clean I think (knowing the game got patched since this thread has been made, they probably changed a few things options & UI wise, so it's tough to say).
  6. Congratulations @MajloHS93, very well done! 🏆 Thanks for the details & feedback you left while going through Flatout, was nice to see you getting through it event by event and I'm sure that will be helpful to others as well.
  7. Was part of the 73 crew as well, thankfully got a 69 one a couple runs later 😅 The slopes can definitely kill a good run, and yeah unfortunately you pretty much need to get screwed by them once to know they're there and avoid them on your next try. I remember having a good run come crashing down on hole 11 cause the wind was going at 10 km/h towards me, never had that much (thought the game was capped at 9.9 km/h), nothing I could do but laugh it off and hope for better luck next time. There's a few things to keep in mind (basic golf knowledge, but since the game doesn't explain anything, if you're not aware of those it could make a difference): The distance your club can do is not taking the rolling of the ball in consideration, if your driver can hit to 250 yards and you make a perfect shot, you'll actually hit a shot around 270-280 yards with the rolling on an even fairway If the fairway is lower than you, you'll go further than the carry of your club, and if the fairway is higher you'll go less far than the carry of your club The putters are atrocious, unlike other golf games where the power gauge is divided in 4 and hitting in the middle would logically give you 50% of the power, here it's not the case. The 30 ft putter works somewhat correctly, but the 90ft & 150ft ones just don't, so try to keep that in mind (using the 90ft one and shooting with 25% of the gauge gives a distance of around 35ft) As a rule of thumb, when aiming for the flag, try and shoot with 10%-15% less power than the carry needed (on an even ground and if the wind isn't against you)
  8. Nicely done mate, keep it going! Thanks for writing the settings you used, more setups is a good thing 👍 It can definitely make a difference, especially on cars with piss poor handling with the default ones. I'll see to edit my first post to link to the settings you used on the events you already did.
  9. Didn't have any issues with "Mittens", but I focused on the carrer mode and it popped the first time I finished a staged in Norway (happened in group b). Maybe it has to be done in career for some weird reasons... For "Simulator" I read the same thing and it didn't pop either by just finishing the race. Ended up doing it on Lake Nakuru stage (Kenya) in the rain, using "The Gazelle" (mixed the tips given by LongLiveHelghast & DancefloorBankin on the "Trophy Thoughts" thread). Got it first try there with a 01:36.597 (the AI times seems random though, they could be faster than that).
  10. Sure would be nice if they put Hillclimb events back in DR 3.0, those were fun to do.
  11. Good to hear, Pedal to the Metal is rough but it's gonna be a good training to face what Flatout has to offer.
  12. @MajloHS93 Sorry to hear about that New Zealand event, I know it was made slightly easier after a patch, but it can probably glitch like the other events as well. I'll add the glitch time in the main post. As for your other question from your other post, quitting to the main menu can lead to glitched times (it's a gamble though, it could work the proper way as well), your best bet is either doing them all back to back, if you have the time, or leave your console on rest mode. I realise I'm like 2 weeks late, hope you haven't given up
  13. You guys are right, forgot to update the main post after they released Tsurumi. Added the Tsurumi fishing spots as well now.
  14. The 6th volume of the "Ibis Street Tales" (or "Toki Alley Tales", same one) series seems to be done via fishing. There's an ingame achievement, under "Teyvat Fishing Guide: Series I", called "Intermission", asking you to : "Catch a scattered page of a book while fishing in Inazuma.". The pages you can get while fishing in Inazuma are from the 6th book (Video proof). There's confirmation that you can indeed get multiple pages, and the fact that there's already someone who has the trophy here confirms it. It seems to be totally RNG, with no fixed locations or anything. I've gotten every fish available in Inazuma and ended up with 0 pages. The fishes take 3 real days to respawn (even though it seems some people are lucky and it takes them less time). You can get pages from fishing in other people worlds (if they haven't fished every single one of them, of course). Here's a map of every available fishing location aside of Tsurumi (courtesy of u/bejace, original reddit thread) And here's the Tsurumi map (for the 2nd location, you have to use a Peculiar Pinion on an eagle statue, the statue is on the small island North West, the one with a small hut, where there are 3 wracked boats, thanks @Rekinek) . This may or may not be the only way of getting them, Mihoyo could make them available with the release of Tsurumi Island (since the first 5 volume were tied to each of the 5 islands, it could make sense to make the 6th one obtainable on the 6th island, but I'm just guessing here). Thought I'd post this anyway, seeing how long this could take thanks to the RNG & 3 days of waiting time. Still, keep in mind it's just my understanding of this, I could be proven wrong, so don't waste to much of your time trying to go fishing in other people worlds and whatnot 😅
  15. Today was my 20th race and it popped for me as well (even though I'm only seeing 7 of my times since they added new events and got rid of older ones). I'm guessing the number of races you've participated in are stored client side, thankfully! 😅
  16. Oh I felt really lucky throughout those tries not gonna lie, whereas 1 page every 3 worlds seems rather unlucky, sorry you had to endure that much fishing 😅 Now I'm wondering if there's some kind of hidden pity for the pages as well (but tied to the world, not the player), like you would start with a 2% drop rate, but after fishing 50 fishes in Inazuma it would be at 4% and so on... Seems weird that the pages I got kept increasing slowly... Could just be pure RNG luck of course, in which case I'm glad it was on my side for this grind!
  17. Done with the trophy, just to give an idea here's the number of pages I got per reset : 0 page 1 page 1 page 2 pages 2 pages 3 pages 1 page
  18. All good no worries. Was just wondering if my post could've conveyed misleading information.
  19. Could you pinpoint what I said that was wrong? Cause I said exactly what you just said... I mean, since the first post by yoxi in this thread, it was confirmed that you can get all pages by going into other people's world. But you can also get them all in your own world, if you're willing to wait.
  20. @JoshDCcomics You can get all 10 in your world, just that if you wanna speed up the process you can go in other people worlds. I think what others meant is that you can't get more than 3 pages at a time (before the fishes reset after 3 days), but if you're willing to wait it's doable by yourself (I'm at 6 pages so far, out of 5 fishes reset).
  21. Haven't got any that way, and haven't read anything anywhere that could lead me to believe that it's possible sadly (it was to be expected obviously, was just a wild guess of mine)
  22. That's a risk I'm willing to take 😄, as long as there's medaka to fish since they're piss easy to get, I wouldn't end up losing too much time. Now to see if they will have some spots in Inazuma for that event. Only from Inazuma spots
  23. Pretty much why I'll keep it to fishing in my world, not worth this kind of hassles. Btw, they released a new event today, with 1 new fishing spot per day. You can only catch & keep 50 fishes per day in those spots, but once you're pasts those 50 you can still fish, you just won't be able to keep them and they'll be released. Doing so counts for the achievement related to the number of catched fish. Hopefully 1 of those locations will be in Inazuma, and hopefully we'll be able to catch pages in that spots even if it's related to an event, and hopefully even if we fish past those 50 we'll still be able to keep potential pages. Yeah, hopefully 😅
  24. Indeed, second phishing session for me today, got 1 page. I think there's about 55-60 fish to catch in those 8 locations, so I got 1 page out of 110-120 chances, the odds seem to be even worse than what's required to get artifacts with good stats 😅 I guess Tsurumi island will have 2 fishing locations as well. That would make it about 70-75 fish | chances every 3 days, not much more but it could help. Yep, confirmed by yoxi-reborn. They could end up changing their requirements in the future, who knows, but for now it's only via fishing.
  25. Thanks for confirming how to get it mate, appreciated! And congrats on the trophy 👍 I'll get it eventually by waiting the required 3 days between each tries, but it's cool that they allowed people to get pages in other worlds. Too bad the world owner doesn't get the pages as well, would've been the best of both worlds 😋
