  1. LOTR' Shadow of Mordor for $5. So I won't be super confused when I get to the PS+ LOTR' Shadow of War.
  2. U1 was a horrible extremely mediocre 3rd person shooter that had a wild raiders-style twist. There must have been nothing else to play that year for it to be so well regarded that it earned them enough to spawn a sequel. U2 all the explosions, none of the logic. Actually has a puzzle. U3 moderately good puzzles, laboriously long campaign. Nate is invincible surviving all that he does here. Fuck multiplayer. U4 aside from the puzzles, nothing about this game is good. The plot is the biggest shit any one has taken on their keyboard and thought it would make a good story. U3, barely. U2 U4 Zelda games for Phillips CDi E.T. for Atari U1 Other titles are not ranked as I haven't played them.
  3. Cold garbage. A pal of mine says that a strange bad game like this at the end of a platform's lifecycle is "generally a nefarious purpose plant." He explained that it was possible the developer was "shoveling it out there to use it to get into the system as hackware." I make no claims that it is possible with this title to do any such thing, just relaying what this person holds as an opinion.
  4. Me too. I wanted it physical, but not at $60. I wanted it digital, but not at $40. Now there is an 'Enhanced' for PS5 edition at $50, and from what I read the PS4->PS5 upgrade to the Enhanced is free, so perhaps the Publisher decided to stop putting it on sale, as it would essentially mean putting their PS5 edition on sale. That may not be absolutely true, but it is what I recall reading about in the last few months. Regardless, it was at its absolute lowest price last March. At a fantastic price that I missed. Too focused on Covid news to pay attention to the sales. Then in June we had some personal distractions away from games, and I missed it again. I have been watching ever since. https://psdeals.net/us-store/game/1968287/terminator-resistance
  5. This game was developed by a Studio in Europe. Add one dose of publisher anxiety on costs for distribution and you get a rare physical release in the USA, where this game would sell quite a bit if some gaming sites gave more honest and fair reviews instead of covering the same overly hyped crap. I'm not mad I can't find a decent physical copy. No. not at all. or that I missed the PS5 limited run edition. >.>
  6. Good news to me, one less title to add to my backlog.
  7. Indigo Prophecy never getting a sale, only the PS3/PS4 games eh David Cage. :{
  8. It isn't the most hyped month ever, but it isn't the worst month ever. I don't like Military Arcade Shooters COD/BF as much as I once did, but will still play the campaign because why not? WWE Battlegrounds, yet that isn't on my radar, but will give it a go and maybe I will find it fun. Optimism folks. Plague Tale, I think I have that...nope. But it certainly fits the mold of depressed child in a bad time of history puzzle platformer smaller studios love to make. It's actually the least interesting of the titles this month.
  9. Last of Us - the entire game is a laughingstock. From the plot, to the mechanics, nothing about the game can be taken with a straight face it's so bad I can't help but laugh at it.
  10. I renewed my subscription and it appears I have my all PS+ games. Lengthy post about what I checked and did below. June 'about the 9th' - my PS+ expires. Today I check my PS3 and I have downloaded, installed, and played a bit of... Puppeteer, from PS+ May 20 2014. On the PSVita I have downloaded, installed but not played... Spelunky, from PS+ October 7th 2014. The details of these games showed their license expired with PS+. Using the PSVita Download List I searched for my PS+ titles. What I believe to be at least 90% of them were missing. Using the PSVita, I did a search for Transaction History and found almost nothing before 2019. The same searches had same result on PS3, with only about 296 game licenses or dlc items appearing. Today, June 21 2021 - Renewed PS+ subscription at 5:50pm. While processing the redemption of the code on my PS3, my console froze after confirming use of the code. The " bar loading screen" animation came up and then stopped. Controller was ineffective to do anything, tapped power button for it to go off, tapped it on, did the unexpected power off memory check and all has been good since. Using the PSVita Download List I saw that the 90% of missing PS+ licenses were back at the top with June 21 2021 date. The same is true on my PS3 console, with now 475 game or dlc licenses appearing. Downloaded a PSVita game from the PS+ list and it works fine. On PS3, Puppeteer started without issue. The quirkiest bit is that while my PS3 was frozen, the PS App on my phone and my PSVita both showed my as having PS+ subscription. Perhaps that was a rare anomaly for my aging console, which is a slim model 320gb, CECH-30xxB. At this time, it appears that I am not affected by this issue. Even though my PS+ subscription lapsed in early June and the titles were missing presumably because their license expired with PS+. I highly encourage folks to contact Sony and Playstation's public facing outreaches to get this issue more publicity. The more publicity, the more pressure there is to fix it. On twitter, there is @AskPlaystation, but tagging all of their twitter accounts is advisable. Notes about me for data comparison: Purchased PS+ 12month subscription from Amazon. Redeemed on PS3. All consoles on latest official firmware. PS+ titles now have date of renewal. Has never changed PSN ID name. Has never been banned. Any other questions I can answer for those afflicted I would be happy to.
  11. And what could we do to combat this other than contacting Sony? I haven't seen any large 'news' sites post anything about this so I worry Sony even knows it is a major issue.
  12. I'm having some anxiety reading this thread here guys. Factors outside of my control forced me to miss reminders about renewing. If this does prevent me from accessing ps3 and vita games I 'eanred' with the subscription, I am going to be very upset. Here is my list. It is not an insignificant amount that I wouldn't care, but some of this stuff is impossible to find for a decent price and wouldn't be worth purchasing on its own.
  13. Thanks for the reply. A bummer as trophies for this would be cool to earn but I don't have the patience to also play the original for translation.
  14. Is this for Star Ocean: The Second Story ? I played that for PS1 wayyy back and have been looking for a more friendly version to purchase. If it is, is the Japanese version in English at all or would it be a waste if I can't read Japanese?
  15. Why did you get both, and would it make sense for you to subscribe to just one service? I haven't read anything that makes owning both a good idea.
  16. Is this compatible with the edition PS+ gave out? I'd love to do DLC challenges in that game and this price seems fair for what I'll be getting. Also, The Mark of Kri and Rise of the Kasai are on sale at $7.50 each, again, yughghgh why do you tempt me.
  17. Well dang, who makes a game free on April Fool's Day. What a shite marketing gimmick.
  18. Talking out of my exhaust pipe here, but Jade Cargill probably turned down an offer from WWE due to being trained already elsewhere and not wanting to spend 1-2 years in their development system before making a tv appearance. There isn't much of anything resembling a territory scene where you can get poached from these days. So you go get trained independently and then get told to do bullshit things for a year before making any kind of impact because they didn't like how you wrestled sports entertained. So they make you relearn all the crap you already know how to do, and give you a new name they own the trademark on. Or go to this other place and earn twice the money, get on tv (or youtube) within weeks, and not have to deal with writers and producers and dozens of other non-sports-entertainers telling you how to sports-entertain. What Paul wants and what Vince wants are two very different things. One of them hired Finn Balor. The other gave us Lacey Evans. Sadly NXT has dropped the ball on being the serious show it was and is now just the third ring in the awful circus. @johnclark12, I'm gonna hold you to that.
  19. I'm upset with the move to Peacock. I was planning to get the WWE Network and watch the entire broadcast in chronological order. Definitely skipping most matches and segments I have no interest in, so most 2 hour Raw shows would only be about 30 minutes long for me. But now, wtf yo. Peacock is certainly going to omit and censor things, but worse than that, they probably aren't going to have everything available for years. Think about the marketing they could do when they can promote that they have added another year of live Raws and Smackdowns. Digital subscription methods only work when you play the long-con... I mean long-game, of getting the subscriber to stick around month after month after month. Kind of frustrating that I had my chance to watch it all and waited too long to do so.
  20. This thread is 74 pages long, lots of misinformation, rumors, and haphazard assumptions. Now that Sony has made a statement we all know what we're getting into and can feel good our licenses aren't going away. because as long as I can access content I have a license for, I am okay with this. Uploading game saves to the cloud is a great feature I use and continue to wish to use. There hasn't been a sale on PS3 or Vita games in forever. Oh well. Aside from DLC for games that I haven't played, there isn't a single item I wish to purchase. This isn't the worst thing to happen to a digital platform in history. Preserving digital only titles that appeared on those PS3, PSVita, and PSP consoles is a thing but you have to acknowledge the fact that those stores have been running for years and those folks had their shot. I don't have any ill will or feelings towards Sony due to this decision.
  21. NEST 2 is missing. I had planned to save there for my 4th save. I wasn't sure how lucky I would get with the group of Hunter Betas, but it was gone and I had to wait until the room before the Pit Fight. Which really freaked me out cause Save 3 was at Clock Tower Plaza Fight safe room. What I did: First Safe Room Before the Substation Maze (Drain Deimos Clock Tower Plaza Pit Fight Final Boss What I would do differently: Before the Substation Maze (Drain Deimos Clock Tower Plaza Before the Fuse Maze Pit Fight Final Boss You could use up an earlier save at Kendo's if you plan to skip the Pit Fight save. Thus rendering one of the most dangerous parts, Nemesis with a Rocket Launcher, a bit less stressful. With four Assault Coins the boss fights don't last much longer than the death animations. it is when you're stuck running away from Nemesis with random zombies around that he is at his most dangerous. And in case anyone is wondering, I did purchase the $5 Unlock All the Stuff thing. It made the final boss as hard as aiming the rocket launcher and pressing R2. Maybe that is a factor you can consider if you're having a hard time with Inferno. I wasn't happy with how tough it was in comparison to the rest of the fairly simple game.
  22. I watched a vid of all the combos and decided that I don't have it in me to do it. So I am passing on going for these. Coupling that with the nightmare that is finding all the gaps and I am content gettign what I am gonna get trophy-wise out of this one. It's a great game. These hard get-theres are a true test to your skill and mastery of THPS games that I know so many people claim to be amazing at. I am content not earning it.
  23. Too much pinky and the brain, all other characters dead in show canon.
  24. WWE and others like it are acting performances, not athletic competition. Please move this to the appropriate forum, and get those actors a union!
  25. Bots are going to make all future internet heavy dealings impossible. I settled to order RE3 from gamestop and Last of Us 2 as a gift. Hope they ship it.
