  1. You must have not been paying attention to the reveals and information dumps, especially Bungie's focus on deepening the story content. D2 will be a very different game at launch than D1 was.
  2. Gaming session to boost rogue agent kills, if anyone is interested:

  3. I abandoned reviews a long time ago. There's enough media out there to form your own opinion.
  4. I think there has to be a responsible distinction made between content being withheld as a part of future DLC plans and a developer truly expanding their game over time through DLC. I get the impression that Massive falls in the latter case. Honestly, I respect that they've been transparent with how they plan to roll out new content over the next few months. What I hate is when DLC and season passes are presented to the consumer blindly with no details around what they are really getting for their money. And what I've played so far of The Division feels like a "full" game so I have no complaints
  5. Haven't posted here in ages but I thought since my last two platinums landed me on the fastest achievers list for one and the other is an ultra rare plat, I figured it was as good a time as any to share. No. 91 The Platinum Arrow I am currently the 17th fastest achiever for VOLUME (clocked in at just over 10 hours)! All done in one sitting (with some small breaks). As soon as one level ended I couldn't wait to see what the next level had in store. Next thing I knew all 100 levels were over. I appreciated the old school Metal Gear stealth feel to it. There is user created content as a bonus although I haven't spend very much time with it. But if you're into that sort of thing it will add hours of replay value to your experience. Overall a fantastic game and I'm excited to see what Bithell Games will do next. Recommendation: Buy it! It's well worth $19.99 and a relaxing, fairly easy platinum. No. 92 100% Complete Don't let the completion percentage fool you, this is the easiest of the series to platinum - you don't have to collect all the prize bubbles and the create mode trophies can be achieved in minutes. The reasons why I think LittleBigPlanet 3 is an ultra rare plat aside (glitchy trophies, online co-op lag fest, difficulty spike to ace the last two levels), it still felt really good to see the last trophy pop. What I felt was probably more relief than satisfaction. Regrettably, LittleBigPlanet as a franchise is losing some of it's charm for me. I do like the character additions and level artwork/design but things like unskippable dialogue and long load times made some sections more annoying than fun. I knew most of this going in but I caught this when it was on sale for $7.99 and my wife LOVES this game and really wanted to play it together (we played 99% of this together via local co-op but I was the only one to register trophies). Recommendation: Unless you really love the series or platformers, wait for a deep discount or flash sale and make sure you have someone to play with.
  6. #90, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Getting close to 100.

Did this legit. Some luck involved with This Is Living, Triple Kill, and Team Sweeper, obviously, but was able to get it done. And I did have to seek out a partner for Friendly Competiton due to the age of the game.

(late) Congrats on the :platinum: mister dontwaketheKIDS (^_^ )

  7. The Division beta this weekend was really fun. I still plan on purchasing. Not perfect, but the potential is there.

  8. Too lazy to post in the thread, but plat #84 is in the books. Teslagrad.

  9. I have an urge to get back into Destiny. Should I jump in now or wait until The Taken King?

I'm still doing NF's and the ocassional PoE until TTK. Message me if you need help with something. I can solo the abyss and run the sword if you still need flawless. Piss easy now. I'll probably help Piggie when he's ready. Two birds with one stone maybe.

    3. dontwaketheKIDS

Yeah man. Just msg me when Piggie is ready for flawless. I've got some leveling to do. :)

    4. Rowdi

Will do. Easy peasy if you have HoW. Ascend an exotic and buy something from Variks....poof, level 33. You'll need an armor core from a 32 PoE that takes about 30 minutes.

  10. #81 Rocket League Virtuoso A classic "easy to learn, yet hard to master" game. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a PS+ game at release. Overall, a very easy trophy list and fun ride to the platinum. Most trophies can be earned in exhibition mode or boosted in private matches with friends, but multiplayer (specifically 3 vs. 3, imo) is where Rocket League shines and is well worth going back to post-platinum.
  11. May stream Rocker League later. I'm just bad enough it may be entertaining.

  12. #79 Super Exploding Zoo! Everything's Ruined Super Exploding Zoo! is fun and plays well on Vita for what I surmise to be a mobile-inspired puzzle game. Look elsewhere if you are searching for a game that pushes the hardware or presents much of a challenge. But if you're in the mood for a short and easy plat (which I was) definitely give this a go. #80 Far Cry 4 Master Of Kyrat I really enjoy the Far Cry formula - all action with no grindy, time consuming trophies. In fact, my plat save is currently only 58.19% complete and that was after going out of my way to get collectibles beyond the trophy requirements. Outposts and towers are still my favorite parts of the game. But low points in this installment were a lackluster story and those mildly annoying "altered state" sequences. Highly recommended, plus FC4 can be found relatively cheap these days (paid just $12.99 for my copy via Gamefly after a 10% discount).
  13. #78 Bloodborne Bloodborne My favorite game so far this gen. I had a slight learning curve since this plays so different than a typical Souls game, but when Bloodborne "clicked" fights became something like a rhythmic dance. Absolutely amazing game and I'm glad to add the platinum to my collection.
  14. Closing in on the Bloodborne plat. 3 chalice bosses, final boss, and a few weapons to collect.

I'm already planning on starting a new character (arcane build, I think) the moment I finish.
