  1. Uncharted Collection on PS4, somebody make that happen.
  2. Would love to add a guide or two to the site, but I literally haven't written anything longer than an email since I finished my dissertation.

  3. Impressive addition to the website. I always kinda felt dirty going elsewhere for my trophy guides.
  4. You could always change the location of your access point as needed to make things easier.
  5. Well, I'm an idiot. Was thinking Dark Souls 2 was being released for PS4.

      -Dark Mark-

I thought it was too, lol.

  6. Slowly making my way through Hitman: Absolution and really enjoying Soul Sacrifice on Vita, whilst waiting patiently for Second Son to drop.
  7. I dislike going back and using the DS3 now.

Just about about every ps4 owner I know has said that. I guess the DS4 is a really great controller

I've been using my DS3 more than my DS4, probably because I just don't have anything to play on the PS4 (and have a backlog to work on via the PS3).

DS4 is definitely superior -- but the battery sucks hardcore. And the DS3 was just lacking overall, with the exception of it's simple shaping.

The form factor is solid, but didn't realize how lacking the analog sticks on the DS3 truly are.

  8. I tend to keep it on standby for remote play, downloads.
  9. Completed the hat-trick. I had been working on these for a bit, but the stars aligned and I finished a plat on PS4, PS3, and Vita all on the same day. #53 You Don't Know Jack - 3/1/14 We Knew You Could Do It #52 Smart As - 3/1/14 Intelligent Being #51 Resogun - 3/1/14 I came, I saw, I blew stuff up
  10. 2 plats so far today, may be able to get a 3rd.

    1. Beyondthegrave07

Congrats! That's more plats than I have for the year xD

Not bad :P I only got one in February, that's the first time since a long time. Yep the last time was August 2012. Wasted almost my entire summer holiday with BF3. Can't say last month was a bad month though.

  11. I must be getting better at Resogun, got the 15x multiplier trophy without really trying.

Isn't it amazing how that can work out sometimes ;) I really enjoyed that game.

Fun game, it's like a next-gen version of Defender on Atari.

  12. Coming from someone that really enjoyed Dead Nation and got the plat, I'm disappointed. Not complaining because it's PS+ and all, but 1080p and improved textures, etc. on 3 year old PS3 game doesn't do it for me. I guess if I hadn't already played it I'd be excited, but as it was free after the PSN hack and the fact that it's in the top 20 of popular games on this site, I imagine most already have played it.
  13. Infamous Second Son. I bought a PS4 earlier than planned in anticipation of it.
  14. Just realized my 3 plats this month were one on PS4, PS3, and Vita. That'd be a cool goal to achieve each month.

      Which games on each?

    2. dontwaketheKIDS

Sound Shapes (PS4), Deus Ex (PS3), Gravity Rush (Vita)

  15. Ok, I fixed it. I mean, I assumed everyone had at least 1 bugger in their collection.
  16. We do still play for fun, don't we? Admittedly, fun comes in many forms. Sometimes I like to be challenged, sometimes I like to unwind and play on "auto-pilot", sometimes I like to play stuff I've already platted, sometimes I want to play a particular genre. But I always reserve the right to change my mind (or game, in this case) if I cease having genuine fun. No harm (or shame, for that matter) in tackling your list in a way that fits your mood. I used to hyper focus on a single game if I was plat hunting, and I still do at times, but not at the expense of playing something I derive enjoyment from. I rage quit less now and my completion percentage has improved by about 15 points that way as well.
  17. February plats, featuring a milestone: #50 Gravity Rush - 2/25/14 It's all Relative #49 (100%) Sound Shapes (PS4) - 2/19/14 You've Gone Platinum #48 (100%) Deus Ex: Human Revolution - 2/11/14 Platinum
  18. Gold on all Gravity Rush challenges. =)

    1. Bucknerd

      A heartfelt congrats.

    2. dontwaketheKIDS

Thanks, it wasn't so bad. No challenge took more than 3 or 4 tries.

  19. Hardest Gravity Rush challenge? I did about 6 or 7 without much trouble, would love to get the tricky ones out of the way first.

    1. dontwaketheKIDS

Hate the controls, but finally got the hang of gravity slide.

    2. ImmigrantWithGun

The fie race in 2nd dlc was the hardest one by far

    3. Bucknerd

I had the hardest time with the airboat race myself.

  20. Followed a few in the thread. Streamed me getting the last few trophies on Contrast last night and had a few people watching, which was pretty cool. Also streaming some Blacklight: Retribution so folks can watch me stumble my way through an FPS. I really like the twitch integration in PS4.
  21. Not counting the Sound Shapes insta-plat, most likely either Thief or InFamous Second Son.
  22. Is a PS4 loud fan noise normal?

    1. dontwaketheKIDS

It was on a shelf in my entertainment unit. Now it's on it's side next to my tv. So far so good.

    2. CasaDeBen

I have mine on a shelf with about 2 inches all around and its quiet

    3. snakebit10

I keep mine in open space on top my entertainment center. I asked those questions because a friend of mine was having the same issue and once he moved it to a open space it was fine.

  23. Leaving to pickup my PS4 at BB!

    1. Rowdi

What's gonna be your first ps4 game?

    2. dontwaketheKIDS

Really just gearing up for Second Son while PS4 was in stock. I might snag Thief next week and check out the PS+ games until then.

  24. Fallout 3 and Mass Effect 2 are two of my favorites of all time. My Fallout 3 save file was something like 110 hours (including all DLC) and I still felt like I didn't explore every nook and cranny like I wanted to. So be prepared to lose yourself in Fallout's world as it is not best suited for playing in short bursts or whilst distracted by other games IMO.
