  1. This isn't what I was asking about exactly. Since one of the trophies requires meeting at least 10 unique players, I was wondering if there are still enough players left to do this on the PS3 version via randoms or if you have to deliberately set up session or something.
  2. Just a quick question, but are there more players on the PS3 version or the PS4 version? Just feel like completing the game on one version and not doing it on the other.
  3. I think you are looking at all this the wrong way. Microsoft is worth 8-10x the entirely of SONY (not the gaming division, the entire conglomerate). If they wanted, Microsoft could easily outright buy the PlayStation in its entirety. I don't have much brand loyalty for PlayStation/Sony, so I don't really have much, if any feelings on this acquisition. Although, I find myself growing increasingly wary regarding the consolidation of media under the control of a handful of corporations. Microsoft buying gaming companies should be treated with the same stance as Disney buying film companies, with great caution and fear. On a slightly unrelated note, I heard awful things about Activision/Blizzard workplace conditions. Anyone know anything more about that?
  4. I believe that all those titles are $10 per.
  5. Out of curiosity, is there any information about how the wii store closure was handled? I keep hearing that they handled that better than what Sony is doing now.
  6. I don't know about the rest of everyone here, but I'm going to take a break from this thread for a couple of weeks and then come back. Right now, too many people are having kneejerk reactions which, while completely understandable, isn't really being productive. I can't speak for everyone, but I'm not going to panic buy out of fear of losing access to digital games/trophies. I plan to only pick up what I imagine myself playing in the next couple of months (even if I don't actually get around to doing that).
  7. Isn't that available on PS Now or whatever that service is called?
  8. While I think the studio that created Brutal Legend and MS enjoy a close relationship (I think they were bought by MS?), I don't believe MS bought exclusivity for the dlc.
  9. What exactly does jailbreaking a console do exactly?
  10. As tempting as it might be, I wouldn't recommend panic buying. Just pick a handful of games that might interest you and move on. I am so not looking forward to grinding out far cry 2.
  11. From my understanding, games are (usually) not region-locked, but the dlc associated with them is.
  12. I feel that mocking people for making assumptions on incomplete information is kind of a real jerk move. In any case, I guess someone needs to start making a list of digital only/dlc that you can only get via the ps3 store.
  13. So I suppose the next question is what do they plan on doing with the servers? I have one or two games with a long trophy grind that I am not looking on rushing through.
  14. Tbf, there was a lot of misinformation going on about sony not allowing you to download games, not being able to sync trophies, and how a single email from a Playstation Support Staff was being treated as a total confirmation.
  15. Not until the next generation at minimum I would think.
