I was almost certain I could hear Eivor in the God of War music, looked it up and I was right! Amazing voice on that woman. Thoroughly recommend listening to "Í Tokuni" and "Trøllabundin". Trøllabundin especially... Here's a link:

How difficult would The Last of Us be to plat these days? Finally bought the game, wondering how active the mp will be.

@Hemiak I play this game on a daily basis on PS3 and it always takes me a long time to connect. I live in EU and have a pretty decent connection.

In Destiny 2 all the gear drops are at 260 power for legendary and 255 for rare. Is this a cap for the base game? Do I need the DLC to advance further and get more powerful gear?
-
Destroy All Humans platinum, as fun as I remember it and just as difficult too, the grind at the end wasn't bad and it only crashed once, even then that was just from blowing up lots of vehicles. What to plat next 🤔
-
So the Darksiders 3 Apocalypse Edition is... €400... wow. The contents look cool, but not quite €400 cool.
-
-
I'd like to have them too as I love this kind of thing but they are just cheap plastic statues really, the wall scroll looks cool, I just can't see how this is worth €400.
I might just go for the collectors edition, depending on how my money situation is over the coming weeks.
Have you seen this one?

Finally all side objectives in Spider-Man complete, just have to finish the story for the platinum. Might get back to Mafia III afterwards.
-
Just tried out Fortnite for the first time, it's tough, one kill in four games.... Don't think I'll be playing too often.
-
I finally got the platinum for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. Took me a while but this week I decided I was going to at least complete all the story missions in free play mode, after that it was just free roam which is a lot of fun and so I ended up getting the plat, which wasn't even my plan earlier in the week. Nice to have it done though, my first LEGO platinum!
-
My last platinum was on the 1st of April, until today! Grand Theft Auto San Andreas finally done, and with it, the trilogy is complete.

@Temmie Ugh, those damn location changes, having to look up were it moved to, I did anyway. I'd also like to see that glitch! Those are the best kind of glitches, funny, but doesn't ruin your game. The vigilante glitch was a favourite of mine.
@DamagingRob Thank you! Grinding out those 4k kills was work, not a lot of fun I can tell you, but it's done now and I have my platinum so I won't complain!
@Yuna4353 Vice City is my favourite, I played it the most as a kid and I love the setting and characters. I always had a good time listening to V Rock and Lazlow too. San Andreas is great too but for me Vice City edges it.
@ee28max It's a great game that's for sure! I haven't played GTA V so I can't say how it compares but against the others, it's definitely up there at the top.

My room mate has a PS2 lying around so yesterday after work I decided I would try out my copy of MediEvil, didn't expect it to work with all the scratches but it did! No issues whatsoever, shame his memory card doesn't work though. I also tried out Fifa Street for a few minutes and Spyro A Hero's Tail.

In the space of one hour, my PS4 shut itself down twice, and went into rest mode twice, while I'm in the middle of playing the game. Absolutely hate the launch PS4 model, causing me nothing but grief now. Spotted a PS4 Pro + God of War + One PlayLink game (One from a selection of four) for €440, considering picking that up.
-
This War of Mine is pretty interesting, not a clue what to do though or what to prioritise. Everyone is always hungry and I can't carry back everything I need from scavenging. More planning required I guess, and plenty to learn.

Stoves are for cooking and heaters are for keeping it warm. If you don’t cook food you will go through it very quick. With raw food, water and vegetables you can cook once and get 2 meals out of it. I highly suggest using this wiki as it tells you everything you need to know including which areas have enemies and what tools you need for scavenging. Traps you will need to wait several days for but you will find the bulk of food you need by scavenging.
At the start of a game you can make everyone go 3 days with out food before they are very hungry so get a metal workbench, beds, a stove and a water filter built, bringing back materials needed to make them as well as a bit of food then alternate between getting materials and food and only feed people every second day to make food last.
-
I managed to take out that soldier before he attacked the woman, still not fond of the combat in the game. things got better though and I managed to get some food, some people even dropped by and gave me 5 vegetables!
Thinks it's time to venture out to the areas with danger marked on them, I assume all the good loot is there. Slowly getting the hang of the game now, I'll do some reading now on the combat, hopefully that will help me out tomorrow.
Any point in kids for the game? Or do they just give the game a little extra challenge, one more person to feed etc.

It might be time to invest in a new console or upgrade my PC, I can't deal with my PS4 switching itself on and off anymore, doing my head in. It's done it three times now in the space of 20 minutes, I just want to enjoy a game this evening...

Not really sure what to make of the new Venom trailer.
-
So I just watched it myself. Is there some point where we see that the alien was attached to Spider-man? If not, why does Venom resemble Spider-man?
I don't dislike the idea of Eddie Brock being a decent person (he always seemed like such an ass in the comics), but I don't really get it. But, maybe the movie will explain it.

I thought HDR was automatically enabled as long as the PS4 and TV were connected, turns out that is not the case, only took me four months after buying a new TV to figure that out...
-
My PS4 has an awful habit lately of switching itself on and off and I always end up having to let it repair itself and the portable hard drive. It may end up flying out the window at some point over the next few days...

Didn't realise Crash Bandicoot was coming to Steam, it's up for pre-order and releases on July 10th. Available for Xbox too?
-
Just finished Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and I must say I'm quite impressed with it. Wasn't too keen at first but over time I really got into it. Different from what I usually play and not too long or too short, a nice balance. I'll definitely play through it again at some point.

@Slipknot_rooney, that's the one. It originally appealed to me because I like songs with chanting in it, like the Forest Temple from Ocarina of Time.
-
30 hours (roughly) to download Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. 5GB in, 23 hours to go...I hope it's as good as I've heard it is.

Enjoy! I personally had a lot of fun with Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. I would go even as far to say that it changed my life. Should you require any assistance, feel free to refer to my Trophy Guide.

@KingGuy420 A minute?! What I would give for such a connection. I just tried out a speed test, 1.6mbps... And we're probably charged more than you, Ireland has some of the most expensive prices for broadband, yet we are one of the worst in the world for speeds. Apparently I should have a much better (fibre) connection available in the second half of 2018, not likely. I could rant for days about my connection, can't stand it. But yes, enjoy your connection!
@ddracarys I will! Eventually! Had to pause at 6GB because from 4PM onwards things get worse in terms of download speed. 16GB to go! I am looking forward to playing it though, heard some really good things about it, and I avoided watching as much videos on it as possible so I can jump in blind and have it all be new to me. I'll definitely check out your guide, but after one playthrough to avoid spoilers in trophy descriptions. I'm just guessing that they have spoilers.
-
@Slipknot_rooney Yeah, you're right, there are spoilers within the trophies. At least they are all natural though, so you only really need a collectable guide out for that single trophy. Unless you want to go in completely blind. However you approach the trophies though, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I understand a lot of people felt it was lacking, but I personally really enjoyed what Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice had to offer.

I renewed my PS+ subscription earlier for 12 months while the 12 for 15 months deal is going on, but I haven't received the extra 3 months, it's telling me I'll have to renew 12 months from now. Have I missed some sort of requirement? Had a look again on the store but I couldn't spot anything, I assumed if you bought 12 months the extra three would be automatically added on.
-
I've only had my new portable hard drive for about an hour and I'm loving it, all this new space! I should have bought one a lot sooner.
-
The new Tomb Raider trailer looks pretty good.

Played Life is Strange episode four last night, the beginning was a little sad and the episode ended with a bang. Looking forward to episode five, so many questions.
