  1. I find this thread really nice, brings me back memories from this year. I've earned 20 platinums in 2019 with plans to make it to 21. My list is probably gonna be a little uncommon to some people. in order of earning them: Mortal Kombat X(L) - with fighting games being my favorite genre I gotta admit that I rarely played Mortal Kombat in my life except the first 3 games and a bit of ninth. However I found XL sooo good that I needed to platinum it. I'm not really into platinums longer than 40 hours because I get bored real quick but I never felt boredom playing this one. The whole game is amazing, feels really smooth and probably is one of my favorite fighting games right now. Also fatalities are enjoyable and it's probably my favorite roster of characters in the series (extra points to XL for having Alien and Predator - I really needed them in a fighting game) Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood - A bundle of two Castlevania games considered to be in a group of the best in the series. Before I only played Castlevania on Gameboy Advance but I never finished it as I didn't like the Metroidvania gameplay back in the day. After I played these two, I probably fell in love with the series and genre and I'm really looking forward to play more Metroidvanias. If you never played these games and like Metroidvania then please do yourself a favor and buy this bundle - I promise you will enjoy it. Late Shift - I really enjoyed platinuming Night Trap and was looking forward to play this game. I was really surprised how much I have enjoyed it. Honestly I've did all the choices just to see the scenes and platinum was a nice addition. Planning to buy the second stack. The Surge - Thanks to Playstation Plus (well; I bought Agumented Edition because I had the game from playstation plus anyway. I wanted to enjoy it with the dlcs from the start which happened to be a nice idea since the second dlc gives you possibility to fast travel and both dlcs make your life easier.) it was my first soulslike game and I really loved it. Can't wait to buy the second one with the season pass and to try out other soulslike games. Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel - Originally I've bought the game becuase It had Big Boi and B.o.B in it. It turned out to be one of my favorite games ever that reminded me of another game that I love (50 Cent: Blood on the Sand) and It still makes me sad that EA killed the series. This type of gameplay is something I don't see often in video games and it's kinda bummer
  2. Days Gone Wanted to pre-order it back in the day but something made me give up the idea and now again I wanna play it
  3. Platinum #64: Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Perfect Storm Master Acquired all the trophies. I've been reading Naruto manga when I was way younger and I really loved the series. I used to have and play Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3 on PS2 and Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2 - The Phantom Fortress on PSP and that was my last Naruto game I have played. Strange enough because in my PS3 days I always wanted to check out Ultimate Ninja Storm series and I was planning to start with this one but it just never happened. Now the fact that they put the trilogy on the PS4 makes me really happy (and for the first time ever you can earn trophies in the first game!!) 'cause even though the game is repeating itself a lot, I still enjoyed it. One thing I didn't like is the thing that the bonus requirements can't be made until you finish each mission at least once. Also at first the fighting system was kind of weird to me but I think I caught on it real quick. Can't wait to check out the other games from trilogy especially that when I've had almost no games on my PS3 I used to beat Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 Demo all the time, lol.
  4. How did you like it? I wanted to check your profile to choose a platinum and reminded myself of this quote when saw your latest platinum haha Anyways my pick is Rage since I never really got a chance to play it and I'm really curious about the series.
  5. Platinum #63 Platinum Trophy Earn all Army of TWO™ The Devil's Cartel Trophies I kind of regret that I was sitting on this game for so long because it turned out to be on the list of my favorite games. Even though I played it solo the whole time and just tried co-op online (I found two people playing it online in 2019, 6 years after its release. Wow.) for a bit - it was a big fun. Sometimes the game reminded me of another favorite of mine - 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand (I totally loved that game) and I just wish that EA could make another game from that franchise. Also the Insane difficulty isn't hard at all; 2 out of 5 (?) times I died on that difficulty was due to the bugs; once my partner ran into the room that didn't load in time and fell into abyss where he died without possibility to revive him and once the script just didn't load for me. But these were the only bugs I noticed in the game and they didn't make me mad at all. Highly recommended.
  6. Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel; I wish I had more time to play video games lately so I would be way closer to the platinum. I truly enjoy this game and it might actually become one of my favorites.
  7. This game is from year 2003. The same year we've got such platformers as Rayman 3, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando or SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom. And I'm not exactly sure but I guess that these games don't have much combos either. Prince of Persia series started focusing on battle system in Warrior Within but before WW it was SoT and I'm pretty sure this type of gameplay back then was pretty innovative to many people. Of course you can dislike it because it might have not aged well for you but remember when this game was made.
  8. 2012 - 2 Most common: The Walking Dead (49,68%); Rarest: Trine 2 (35,12%) 2013 - 10 Most common: Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus (52,60%); Rarest: LittleBigPlanet (3,26%) 2014 - 7 Most common: Sly 2: Band of Thieves (57,77%); Rarest: Skylanders Spyro's Adventure (8,50%) 2015 - 4 Most common: Sound Shapes (48,61%); Rarest: Minecraft (13,33%) 2016 - 2 Most common: Goat Simulator (43,42%); Rarest: Motorstorm: Apocalypse (5,76%) 2017 - 0 2018 - 20 Most common: Slyde (98,42%); Rarest: Tera (4,03%) 2019 - 20 so far Most common: My Name is Mayo (96,36%); Rarest: Mortal Kombat X (1,95%) I will try to make it to 21 platinums this year; that's my new goal.
  9. You MUST have played the game totally wrong. @lettmon gave you really important tips that I'm sure you didn't know about because the game is not hard (maybe the elevator part is a little challenge but thats it). Ive played Sands of Time when I was a kid and never finished it but I've revisited it on my ps2 and finally beaten it a year ago also doing 100%. Then the next day Ive done Platinum on the ps3 version without any rewinding or dying and had to idle a couple hours for platinum. So again - jump over enemies and then attack them as it helps a lot from what I remember. Honestly I had no problems with the port and while it might be a cheap one just to make money of nostalgia, I still have to disagree with your statement about the game as it was (and still is imo) a pretty good platformer with a cheap ps3 port.
  10. Super Street Fighter 4
  11. Platinum #62 Apex PredatorObtain all the Trophies. Before Far Cry Primal the only Far Cry game I finished (and completed) was Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and I enjoyed that pretty much. Now that I played Far Cry Primal I can say that these spin-off games are pretty fun and good (It's kinda funny that I only played a bit of FC3 and that's all I had to do with the main series). Primal made me wanna play it as long as I could discover new things - possibility to tame new animals, new abilities to unlock etc. made me wanna go back and play it everytime I had to do something different. Sadly it lasted until I've beaten it because the game has only a little interesting content after you beat the game and doing all the side quests just to unlock every ability to achieve platinum was a bit boring after all. However I'm pretty sure that I will remember this game as a nice experience and I'm curious how will New Dawn be for me.
  12. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Would really like to try this out.
  13. No problem, just be beware that (sadly) ps3 discs won't work with ps4 Singstar but there's little you can do about that since ps4 version was already kinda dead when it came out
  14. Depends on the game you've got. The only disc I've had is "Dance" and I think that you can get most of the trophies easily in that one.
  15. most of the songs that would make it easier are already taken down and impossible to buy. So don't even bother because at this point Singstar physical games will rather help you.
