  1. Kirin is no longer a problem thanks to Guard Up. Now I guess my least favorite monster to fight is Bazelgeuse.
  2. I learned the bow just so I could beat Kirin. Normally a lance user. No regrets though, I like having a secondary that works so much differently.
  3. I'm guessing they changed the drop rates for the orbs, then? I spent more time obtaining the orbs than everything else put together back in the original. That includes the rare armors and leveling everything on everyone.
  4. They've really done 5 and 6 dirty lately, so it'd be nice. I wouldn't hold my breath though.
  5. I "platted" the game on the Wii VC a few years ago. If you're going to farm orbs in the last area then you better hope they changed the drop rates. I spent more time farming for one orb than I spent playing the entire rest of the game, including all of the time spent grinding for the rare armor drops.
  6. Okay, thanks!
  7. Certain quests in my lists have an icon to the left of the quest name that looks like a message icon. Any idea what that means?
  8. I enjoyed the new story scenes, but still feel story starved. The DLC is largely more of the same stuff in the base game. Once you clear all of the new shrines and see all of the story scenes, you get to what I believe makes the DLC worth it.
  9. I'll be glad to jump back on with my wife. Maybe this time the two of us will be able to down the Anjanath.
  10. I kinda feel like the MCU would be better off without the X Men. Their whole deal is about how they're hated for being different and it doesn't really fit into the MCU. They needed to fit them in at the start and instead built up the Inhumans as their replacements.
  11. My version of choice for this game is the Switch, but I'm always happy to see another game come to the Vita.
  12. I didn't play much this year, but I enjoyed what I did play. The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (Switch) Puyo Puyo Tetris with wifey (Switch) Super Mario Odyssey (Switch) Miitopia (3DS) Monster Hunter Stories (3DS) Ace Attorney Trilogy (3DS) Full Throttle Remastered with wifey (PS4) I also played Triforce Heroes (3DS) and Splatoon 2 (Switch) Triforce Heroes was okay, but I was ready to be done by the end of getting 100%. In fact, I didn't. Didn't do the challenges for the last world. This game is only worth playing with friends, honestly. Splatoon 2 is a ton of fun, but it's so openly hostile to pairs and trios that I ended up resenting the game. I barely touched my PS4 this year and didn't even look at my other consoles and handhelds. Unlike most people that say this though, It really doesn't mean anything coming from me.
  13. About From Software, there's a rumor that a Dark Souls Remaster is coming to all three consoles.
  14. They actually look great at the end, too. Anyway, the XboneX is the first Xbox system that could be worth it to me. I've never bought any Xbox, so the BC is a huge plus. There's enough exclusives across the generations to make me interested. And since the X is actually powerful enough to handle its own operating system now, I don't feel like it's a piece of junk.
  15. From the video above, this is definitely the guy I meant here. I think the Ogress was only in the third beta, which I didn't play because I didn't have time when it was available. I haven't gotten around to playing the actual game, either...
