  1. Hotline Miami seems to be one of the most beloved modern indie titles of recent years. So I gave it a play through. This game was HORRIBLE, and I know for a fact i'm not alone with that opinion; 1) The story - So after being told about the game's mysteriously atmospheric story, I was anticipating something highly encapsulating, but in the end the story has little to no depth to it whatsoever. It's not that I need to have an understanding for the main characters motives, but we know next to nothing about him in the first place (which works in some cases, but here falls flat because of the other flaws in the game). 2) The graphics - I love this trend of modern style indie retro games, Scott Pilgrim is a great example. This game is just dull to look at. It's hard to actually make the objects onscreen, and the characters themselves seem far to small. 3) Gameplay - Now this is where the game get's shitty. The game itself is somewhat difficult, which i'm okay with in regards to the one-life aspect, but the reason for the games difficulty is simply down to not being able to see your enemies at times (because the screen does not extend), random enemy patterns, and AWFUL CONTROLS. My God those controls were terrible. And the level design consists of 4-5 rectangular corridors per-level, with no variety whatsoever. Not to mention that despite there being over 20 weapons, the game revolves entirely around one-shotting enemies, and gets boring and repetitive by the third level. 4) The length - There are a total of 20 levels in the game, each one lasting around 2 minutes. For a £6 asking price this is simply not enough to warrant a full price purchase. The main reason the game is tedious and difficult is to disguise its shallow gameplay and short length. This game is essentially a newsgrounds/miniclip flash game from 10 years ago, and i'm certain that within the next few years people will revisit this game and realise how overrated it was upon its release.
  2. Heads up, this "complete 10 timed challenges trophy" has an annoying glitch - don't complete any bike timed challenges before getting the trophy! If so you will have to delete your save and start from a new file to get the trophy. Other than that this is a very easy plat/100% and one of the most enjoyable (hence why I did it twice!).
  3. Let the disputes commence. Majora's Mask for me, in my opinion the greatest game of all time.
  4. This is my first Mass Effect game. It's decent. Definitely not worth the full price (i'm borrowing a PS4 and the game for a couple weeks) and very flawed, but there's a lot of fun to be had. The story and characters are painfully dull, and the main missions don't really have much variety to them either. Interacting with other characters feels like a chore. The combat is where the game excels though, but unfortunately the load-out and customisation menus are poorly designed and difficult to navigate. This game is a 6/10 (maybe a 7 if you're a hardcore fan). Not worth the full-price.
  5. The cardinal boss fight would be so difficult on Insanity. Also, I plan to do 2 playthroughs, i'm on Medium at the moment so if I change difficulty at some of the harder parts will it block any trophies?
  6. I have RE5 plat!
  7. No way can you do MW2 or MW3 in a day.
  8. They already did my three favourites (Last of Us, CoD 4, and GTA5), but i'd definitely buy Red Dead Redemption again.
  9. After the PS3 slim was released Sony got back on track with consistent releases and great exclusive games that the 360 could not compete with. But yeah, before around 2010 Xbox was far superior.
  10. Against Me! - The Politics Of Starving
  11. Hahaha I still haven't even upgraded to regular PS4! There's so few interesting titles available.
  12. £15.99 for Fifa 14? Nah mate.
  13. Brian Fallon released his debut solo record yesterday, and it's great!
  14. So is this like every generation in one now?!
  15. Believe it or not, that was actually me on YouTube
  16. Despite all my laughably easy plats, i've yet to obtain a dreamworks plat
  17. Resident Evil 4 - Classic, one of the greatest games ever made. Resident Evil 5 - Slightly underrated, albeit flawed, but arguably the most fun game in the series. Resident Evil 6 - Absolute shit.
  18. There should be bonus awards for Red Dead and L.A. Noire!
  19. I guess Ubisoft now own copyright on seaside rocks.
  20. We usually get the exact same sales/discounts, but at different times.
    1. skateak

When I read the name the first thing that came to mind was a Pantara cover band haha.

    2. Resident-Zelda

I've been getting that a lot, but it's actually a reference to The Smiths!
