  2. I've had a great time so far! The speed run was a lot of fun for me as well. On my initial playthrough I moved slowly and explored as much as I could, so it was fun to have to go through quickly and really pay attention to how much time I was spending on my second playthrough. Thanks for the info about Madhouse! I'm going to start my Madhouse playthrough soon so it's nice to have a heads up about what to expect.
  3. I started on Normal difficulty and I'm trying to focus on trophies, but still running a blind playthrough story wise. The first person perspective gets me too, and I have to pause whenever things get too tense for me (which is fairly often). I know on Madhouse the enemy locations change and I assume enemies take more hits and deal more damage, but is there anything else that makes it different from other difficulties?
  4. I've actually played The Last of Us several times through (although this is my first time playing the remaster) and I like it a lot. The story is one my favorites I've played and is really why I keep coming back to it every now and then. I've also heard mixed things about the Amnesia series, which is what has me iffy on if I'll ever play it. I also just started playing Resident Evil 7 and am enjoying it so far.
  5. I'm currently playing through The Last of Us Remastered (although I'm not sure if that counts as a horror game) and also plan on playing Until Dawn soon. I'll let you know when I start Resident Evil 7, haven't decided if I'll play that first or Until Dawn. Was also considering trying out the Amnesia Collection, but I'm not sure if I'll get to that by Halloween.
  6. I think I'll start up Resident Evil 7 soon, especially since I usually try to play games that fit the spirit of Halloween this time of year. I got the Gold Edition on sale a few months ago, so it's nice to hear that most of the DLC is worth playing. Looking at trailers and some gameplay for it, it reminds me of PT, which I enjoyed a lot. I only played Resident Evil 6 because a friend of mine (who is a big Resident Evil fan) wanted to play through it on co-op. I didn't hate it, but didn't really like it either, so that kinda discouraged me from playing other games in the series. As for the thread, I don't mind continuing this conversation in here, but if you would rather move it to a message group, that works for me as well.
  7. Thanks for the response! I think I'll start with Resident Evil 7 in the near future, since I have heard a lot of good things about it. The only Resident Evil game I have played is Resident Evil 6, but from what I've heard that one is different from most in the series. Thanks for the online offer, if I ever play a Resident Evil game with online, it would be great to have someone to play with!
  8. Thanks! I'm not really a fan of horror games, but I have been wanting to play the Resident Evil Remaster and Resident Evil 7. Is there a Resident Evil game you would recommend I play first or could I start anywhere in the series? Thanks for the recommendation!
  9. Got the platinum for Sound Shapes and I've decided my word. Marvel's Spider-Man Ether One Little League World Series Baseball 2010 Teslagrad Sound Shapes
  10. Got the platinums for Teslagrad and Ether One, so that's two more completions for Team Leatherface.
  11. Update: PS4 - Claire (0% => 100%) - Ether One (0% => 100%) - Everybody's Gone to the Rapture (0%) - Slain: Back from Hell (0%) - Teslagrad (0% => 100%) - The Deadly Tower of Monsters (0%) - The Escapists: The Walking Dead (0% => 45%) - The Little Acre (0% => 100%) - Until Dawn (0%) PS3 - Remember Me (0%)
  12. I've finished Claire and The Little Acre, so that's two completions for Team Leatherface. I thought Claire had a good story and visuals, but there wasn't really much going on gameplay wise. The Little Acre was a charming point and click game with great visuals and some spots of humor. Probably on to Teslagrad and Ether One next.
  13. I got my first letter, "B", from Bully. I thought it was pretty good and the end game grind wasn't too bad, although I still haven't decided on what word I'm going to spell yet.
