  1. Anyone know the full install size of Driveclub (patches and DLC inc)? Trying to install but after deleting an extra 30gig on top of the 60gig I already had, still won't download :/

So did I, hence the confusion. I really need to upgrade my hard drive :P

      It shouldn't be over 40GBs.

There could be some different problem than the storage size.

I managed to get it working in the end, after having to free up even more space. In the end the install came to just under 30gig, so I have no idea why it refused to download until I had 100+ free. Ah well.

  2. I preordered Stories: Path of Destinies, but because the PSN systems had a stroke and didn't actually add the game to my account, the only fix was for them to give me a refund and I purchase it again. Now, a week later, I finally have the money added to my PSN account and I can buy the game again, minus the 10% discount. It's only a difference of 90p but come on, I've been waiting a week for this to be sorted and I have to pay almost a quid for that pleasure.

At least you GOT a refund. PSN Store's policies are so one sided in favour of Sony it's ridiculous.

Maybe someone should get Colin & Greg to have a TotS about it...

At least the game isn't completely gone from the store.

  3. Finally picked up the last few trophies for the Shadow of Mordor plat. No DLC though and no current plans to get it.

Congrats! The DLC was decent enough.

Thanks. I looked up a bit about the DLC and most of what I read wasn't terribly positive, so I'll pass. Might pick it up when the rumoured sequel is about to hit or something.

  4. Made the monumental mistake of watching Man of Steel for the first time since the cinema, almost 3 years ago. Zach Snyder created such an atrocity with that movie. Batman v Superman was so very far from a great movie but I went into it expecting it to be bad, whereas I had hope for MoS and was given THAT. No other movie has ever pissed me off so much.

My wife absolutely deplores Man of Steel. The problem with it was there were lots of good ideas there. Batman v. Superman has a silly concept, but a mature retelling of Superman's history could have been a blockbuster...assuming that hack Zack wasn't in charge.

  5. I've got all 225 silver stars from the tour in Driveclub's base game and only now am I really getting used to the handling/drifting/etc. Project Cars is so much more accessible but I can't deny how fun Driveclub is.

Pro tip: Don't bother drifting. Just break hard into corners and then spam the accelartor until your on the straight and then floor it.

Yeah, I don't bother for proper races or time trials but it's nice to finally get the hang of it ;)

  6. I forgot just how dickish the AI in Driveclub can be.

The AI in racing games is always dickish.

need for speed is 10 times easier, blur is very dickish

  7. I spent a few hours last night and today polishing up all the collectibles and boom, that damn Michael Dufrane #1 is impossible to get. I can activate the Echo just fine, but I can't collect it. This happened when I was doing the actual sidequest and I knew it would come back to bite me in the arse, but I hoped it would rectify itself by the time I came to collect everything. As it is, I'm sitting on 62/63 Echos collected and 292/293 collectibles in total. Now I just hope Ubi fix it by the time I've finished up all my Dark Zone trophies, since those and the 100 signature skill ones are all I have left :\
  8. Spent close to an hour working through the Russian Consulate mission with a bunch of randoms, on challenging and get randomly kicked right near the end. So pissed right now. (The Division)

      BSKkayfabe

thats really kinda what you get even playing the Division, trash game that it is lol

  9. Anyone own the Division but didn't get the Hazmat gear for preordering? I have a spare code available.

      CasaDeBen

I bought it day one but didnt preorder. Id gladly take some extra cosmetics

  10. Considering it's only just under 4 years old, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier looks like shit. Just started playing it for the first time and the resolution looks lower than my PC monitor back in 1995.

    1. damon8r351

      damon8r351

I was 15 in 1995 and on the computer frequently. That is not 1995 resolution. Doom 2 is 1995 resolution.

    2. Gatatog

      Gatatog

It's called exaggeration. Just because it isn't literally running at a 21 year old resolution doesn't mean it doesn't look like junk. Even the menus and the HUD look pitiful for a 4 year old game.

    3. damon8r351

      damon8r351

I know, I just couldn't resist letting a ridiculous exaggeration go unremarked.

  11. Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth just crashed and I lost like 2-3 hours of grinding and digivolving because I was a complete dumbass and didn't save often ... shit :(

      Gatatog

Usually I save so regularly that any crash loses me no more than 20-30 minutes, but something about the rhythm of grinding and watching YT vids beside it had me forgetting to save. I've lost probably half a dozen digivolutions, 200,000 yen and my highest lvl digimon has dropped back down from 97 to 85. So annoyed with myself :(

    3. CasaDeBen

      CasaDeBen

Sucks. But all can be recovered :)

      Gatatog

Redone a large portion of what I lost but now I find out that I lost out on something I was meant to do in the previous chapter of the story. My one playthrough plat is now impossible. Sigh, oh well :P

  12. It only took 2 full playthroughs and almost 50 hours to finally get the "complete the game" trophy on Dying Light, lol

    1. Galactic Hyper Balls

      Galactic Hyper Balls

yeah the missions glitched on me too but got it done, now the dlc is looking goood

Played a bit of The Following about a week ago and I really enjoyed it. Now I've polished up the main game on NG+ I'm looking forward to diving into the expansion some more. The buggy is so much fun :D

  13. The ABI stat in Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth is officially annoying.

That's the fastest way to do it, but you only get 8-10 each time. Still takes a while.

    3. Gatatog

      Gatatog

I guess it'll be much easier the further you get into the game. I mean even now, at chapter 7, one battle can take a lvl 1 Digimon up to lvl 6-9. Late game after de-digivolving it should be much easier to get one back up to digivolve level.

    4. ExHaseo

      ExHaseo

Oh yea, it gets way easier end game. With the tactician usbs the game gives you, you can hit 30 in a single fight.

  14. Took me an hour to take down the demolisher in the Pit on Dying Light's NG+. I don't remember it being that time consuming first time around o.O

  15. Loving Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - the addictive nature of digivolving and de-digivolving is too much! :P
