Humans do go through that phase from time to time.

Or what if the decision required that I had to do a number 2 while I was out alone in a public park at 2 a.m. when nobody's there. Then I happened to see a coal BBQ tabletop that was partially lit up. Then I happened to see an old homeless man freezing from the cold  next to the tabletop and is borderline unconscious. My morals would tell me to not poop in a public park but my morals would also tell me to save the cold man. So I must remain neutral in one of the options. Save the man and my bowels will see hell. Don't save the man but then I'll be a bystander who let a man die so I'll see hell anyways. 

But mmm... I can poop in the tabletop to create a natural fuel and to keep the fire going. So in that case I can hit two birds with one stone and nobody will see hell ( except the old man who will sniff hell).

Lol what? Going by this logic, so if the majority think that killing people is wrong, you're saying that you should stop and think about it? 

I'd actually argue that if you're in the minority, there'll be more instances where you have to stop and reflect about things. 

I think the point is to emphasize the importance of pausing to think.  Great tactic in the office.  When everyone shouts 'Yeah, this is the best idea!' a little too quickly, take a step back.
