  1. A Vita being hacked shouldn't deter you from buying it. All you need to do is install the current, updated firmware from Sony to overwrite the hack. In any case, I have a Japanese Vita that works just fine with my USA account. If you decide you want to unload your broken Vita, I love to tinker and have a rework station. I'd be willing to pay for shipping plus a few for your time. Just DM me.
  2. I'm older than you and have also developed hand issues over the years. I think a fight stick would help greatly, especially if you have bigger hands. I'm still able to do these. I'm in the middle of building a leverless controller, so I have yet to see if they are easier than fight sticks. They seem easier on the hands. It'll definitely be better than those tiny ps3/4/5 controllers. So, either way you go, you can't go wrong with the upgrade.
  3. I just checked my timestamps for the difficulty trophies. I had both campaigns pop hard then normal like 20 mins apart. That blows it didn't work for you. I think that's awesome that you like the game. It's probably one of the best movie-to-game adaptations. It's too bad you didn't play it when the MP was active. It was so much fun. Pitch Black mode was especially crazy. Edit: oh crap. Just realized this was posted two years ago.
  4. Wow. 10/10? I suppose difficultly is subjective. I certainly wouldn't call SFV a 10/10. Maybe a 6/10. Most of those grindy trophies can be done vs ai, and will probably pop when in survival mode. If you do pick it up, make sure you get the latest edition and not just the base game. You need all the characters so it's faster for the most grindy trophy: 1 million FM. A 10/10 fighting game to me would be Persona 4 Arena. That game is nuts. MVC3, whether vanilla or Ultimate, will need to be boosted now-a-days, so the difficulty will lie in the trials, not the online.
  5. I agree with this as well. Tekken 7 platinum is piss easy, but the game itself is amazing. You could spend more time labbing combos and not get sick of it than the time you'd spend on the platinum itself. Also, Tekken bowling. Nuff said.
  6. If you are talking about Street Fighter 5 ranked matches, it's gold you need to reach. Since they patched in a sliding scale for win streaks, you can go from zero to gold in like an hour. You are also paired up with people of your own skill level. Just don't jump and anti-air n00bs when they constantly jump at you and you'll get gold easily. SF5 is probably one of the easiest, but grindy, SF plat to get. It's super forgiving on execution, especially if you compare it to Third Strike and USF4.
  7. It's a glitch in the matrix. Be prepared for Morpheus to confront you with a red or blue pill.
  8. I suspect that you and I are close in age. Bro, we aren't living in the prosperous 90s anymore. This is the age of outrage culture. You can't just have fun. You need to take everything super serious and to the nth degree.
  9. They're a drm launcher. They started just like Steam did. Steam and Battle.net started their services with only their ips. Battle.net being Blizzard and Steam being Valve. Steam just surpassed them because they had a better model and idea. You may not like Steam personally, but they are the best drm launcher out there. They got there real fast too. I don't see Steam being knocked off their spot any time soon. Apparently, they agree, because Epic's model didn't force Steam to change their's at all.
  10. Oh contrare monsier. Battle.net is 7 or 8 years older than Steam. Diablo is older than most forum users on this ste. I personally have no dog in this race, however, as it is, maybe Epic should be putting money into their launcher and support team instead of buying up ips for timed exclusives. Both their support and ui are shit. Nobody is going to take Steam down, especially when their "competition" are conpanies like Epic.
  11. Just message the site owner. MMDE just handles the dispute subforum and didn't have anything to do with removing accounts back then. Sly will be able to put your profile back in rotation.
  12. This is a non-issue for me. I have both. It's not really a big deal to have more than one launcher. If you only have the game digital, you don't really own it anyways. Doesn't matter if it's Steam or Epic or wherever.
  13. Preaching to the chior here. I'm mostly an indie guy. I find Nintendo ips just as bad as EA, Activision, Bethesda, et al realeases though. To me, Mario should have been murdered by Wario decades ago. I rarely play AAA games. The only series I keep coming back to is GoW since, other than Ascension, they've been stellar each time.
  14. Shhhhhhhhhh!
