About Me

A few quick details about me:

- I'm a Christian

- I'm in Med School at the moment at the University of Queensland, Australia
- My goal is to be a brain surgeon (legit, haha)

- I'm quite introverted; I have some good mates but love to spend time by myself when possible
- Video games are my #1 hobby (by far)

- I own most game consoles :P

As primarily a 360 gamer last generation (from 2008), many of my favourite games from last-gen were played on the 360, hence the 'gaps' in my PS game library (Bioshock, RDR, Far Cry 3, Mass Effect 2, Dead Space, Batman, etc.). I would say I first truly became a trophy hunter around August 2013; despite getting my PS3 in mid-2012, I had mainly just played a game once and then moved on. Since then though, I would say that I've got MUCH more enjoyment out of every game I play - going for the plat encourages you to try and achieve (and therefore see) everything the game has to offer. It's been an adventure in my trophy hunting so far and I'm loving every minute of it!

All 5 of the following have incredible atmosphere, story-telling, graphics (at least for the day), sound design, bosses (where relevant), and emotional punch. The key thing is that I could replay one of these games at any time and still have an incredible time; that's how good they are). I know gamer's opinions are quite shallow and change all the time, but these 5 are very solidly in my favourite games of all time.

1. Bioshock

2. The Last of Us

3. Bloodborne

4. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

5. Portal 2

Honourable mentions: Okami HD (1st platinum, gorgeous), Metal Gear Solid 3 (story-telling and bosses), Destiny (1500 hours of fun with friends), Journey (emotions)

1. Star Wars Battlefront 2

2. Assassin's Creed: Origins

3. Metro Exodus

Stay sweet, game hard!  B)
