  1. Prides in quality open world and story based games.
  2. Man, I hate these months where it's mostly multiplayer games. JC4 isn't multiplayer heavy like the other two but has nothing to hold my interest and I can imagine it won't appeal to many people who haven't already played at least one other Just Cause title. A weak month, sadly.
  3. I agree to this. I felt almost obligated to get the My Name Is Mayo platinums because of the inside joke. They were fun for an hour which was worth the 99 cents to me, and they're the only easy (low effort) games I platinumed. Low effort platinums are not worth more than a dollar as it is, and Road Bustle looks dumb. At least My Name is Mayo knows its dumb.
  4. With that impressive lineup of yours, my options are small. I'd say Doom and/ or GTA V because of the online.
  5. Trophies are only as valuable as you make them. There is no reason in trying to huff and puff and ruin the fun for everyone.
  6. So I finally cataloged all of the games I own with trophy support and compiled them in my Trophy Checklist thread, My Attempt at Salvaging a Sense of Pride and Accomplishment. I'm actually quite proud of doing this after so long as I had been meaning to do this for years. I wanted to create a collective archive of what I had to go back on now that I am working exclusively from home and have changed my life around for the better and this helps me go and look at what I have left to accomplish and the amount of money I have put into Sony that has not been fully paid for.

Note I have had two other accounts before this one and played a lot and completed a lot of games on those accounts back in the early PS3 era, so a lot of the PS3 library had been played before, but I'm only counting what I have on this account since one of those old accounts were lost to the Sony hack of 2011 and the other I just didn't want to keep for whatever reason.

  7. #64 - Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor Master of MordorOne has walked in Mordor. This game was a lot more fun than I originally gave it credit for back in 2016 when I first tried to play it. During my first go-around, I had a hard time getting into the gameplay and I couldn't care less about the plot. When the server shutdown announcement came around, it finally made me want to go back and knock this game off my backlog. I was glad I did, as I ended up getting a lot more into it the second time around. I love a game with good stealth and bow gameplay and I felt this was rewarding even though it felt a little dated with its 'video gamey' unrealistic stealth combat. The regular combat was okay but I found it to be more cumbersome than fun. The road to platinum wasn't too difficult though a little grindy and in some points a little easy to mess up, requiring me to go back and redo set up for a trophy that originally took me nearly an hour to complete. I played the Lord of the Hunt DLC and found it okay but a little plodding, and I chose not to get one of the trophies for it as there is nothing I hate more than time limit based challenges. I chose to finish the game at 85% completion due to not obtaining this trophy and not playing the second DLC, the Bright Lord, despite owning it on my GOTY disc. I wasn't interested in focusing my gameplay around the jankiest aspects of the combat, that being the wraith's possession powers, for another 6 hours, hard or not. Overall, the game was fun, with much room for improvement. It made me interested in actually playing the sequel at some point, which is a plus as most AAA games these days can not hold my attention past a single game (looking at the Assassin's Creed series as a prime example). Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Platinum Difficulty: 5/10
  8. None of the Uncharted games, Red Dead games (I just really don't like them), Grand Theft Auto, Dishonored games, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Destiny, Last of Us Part 2, Darksiders, anything online multiplayer with the exception of Smite and Apex Legends (both I have given up on), anything VR, Metal Gear Solid V, Assassin's Creed games, The Avengers, Infamous etc. Some are in my backlog but a lot of this generation has been full of multiplayer and AAA cash grab crap I've not been interested in.
  9. A Day In The Life Of Mayo Tap the Mayo jar for a total of 24 hours.
  10. It's a shame because they were a fun experience overall. The controversy aside, the third game was a lot of fun. You can be thankful you don't have to tackle platinuming the fourth though as it has the worst trophy I ever encountered in a game and the worst trophy I ever achieved on my list.
  11. I do not know for a fact, but I played all four games recently back to back and I can tell you Goodbye Deponia had a moment in it that made practically jump because it was shockingly racist. The kind of thing I expected to see in early 90's as a bit more 'harmless risque humor' but not a 2013 game. It is reasonable to believe with Sony's stance on BLM that they removed the game from the store prematurely so that it wouldn't come up to haunt them later. That is just speculation on my part.
  12. I just played through this series because I bought a collection back in March of all 4 in 1 for 15$ and I can tell you there is a rather shocking moment of mistreatment of a black woman in the game that is absolutely the reason why it was delisted. It's a shame because it was the conclusion of the actual Deponia story (Doomsday is an alt-universe take and the worst game of the four for trophies by a hundred million miles)
  13. So only one trophy tied to the online?
  14. Most fun platinums: 1 - Horizon: Zero Dawn 2 - The Spyro the Dragon Trilogy 3 - Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and Dragon Age: Inquisition (I platinumed both games twice) Most grindy platinums: 1 - Rayman Legends 2 - Dragon Age: Inquisition 3 - Dragon's Dogma; Dark Arisen Highest skill based platinums: 1 - Hollow Knight 2 - Tricky Towers 3 - Metro: Last Light Most boring / tedious platinums I earned: 1 - Rayman Legends 2 - Ark: Survival Evolved 3 - Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires Platinums that I did not achieve, but wanted: 1 - Mass Effect Trilogy 2 - LittleBigPlanet (I achieved it once on an old account before the hack of 2011 happened) 3 - Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale
  15. Finally bought Saints Row 4 Re-elected after all this time with a spare 5$ I had in the wallet after a gift card Halloween sale purchase. I'm happy with this.
