  1. Just had the trophy and in game achievement pop for me by using the Blood Spear... and I was not in the Diablo fight. I had just traveled to the Silver Spire in Adventure Mode. I swapped out my skills to have the Blood Spears and decided to test how long it would take for it to get me to low health. I stood there. No enemies around me. Spammed the move until my health went critical, and suddenly the trophy popped. I don't think this was supposed to happen. I had not walked but a few steps off the waypoint in Silver Spire. Has something like this happened to anyone else?
  2. It has been a long and grueling journey since the early days of the PS3, but now I have finally earned my new rarest trophy, XCOM 2 platinum! Blood. Sweat. Tears. Almost 3 years on and off with what is one of my favorite real-time strategy games. It's done. It's finally done. I can rest now. Good night.

      Congrats!

      Btw, isn't xcom 2 turn-based?

@ihadalifeb4this Yes it is. One of the better ones.

@gamercris066 That's honestly surprising. If its a trophy hunt you're looking for, be warned. This one is difficult.

  3. I read that this game had a non-VR option to play. I was wondering if that meant all the trophies were unlockable without the need for a VR headset. Asking for a friend (me).
  4. That's good to know, because it looks like fun. Thank you.
  5. Reviving an old thread? I'm down. I love 3D Dot Game Heroes. Also the PS4/VITA Digimon games, though I'm not sure if those count as underrated or just niche.
  6. Maybe we're misunderstanding difficulty with frustration level in this case. Which is often what I view the difficulty scores on this site to represent.
  7. I really wish they'd stop using PS Plus as a dumping ground for dying games like Predator: Hunting Grounds. Not interested in the slightest with the other two offerings.
  8. Finally platinumed every Digimon game on the PS4. It was a lot of fun up until the end where it slowly turned into an ungodly grind. Manageable though, and still recommended for anyone who grew up a fan of Digimon in any capacity.

I was so happy when i picked up next order and realized it was a sequel in gameplay and story to the ps1 digimon world which was my favorite childhood game.

@Sun_emperor1 Digimon World PS1 is one of my favorite games of all time! Next Order is very fun too, and its a bit of  grind, but I did really enjoy it all the way up until the last three trophies which were the grindiest ones.

  9. not that I'm aware of. I don't think I did hat for any of them.
  10. Self explanatory question. I have a sickening feeling that this is not the case but its worth asking around to make sure. Medals in this game are a pain while in Hacker's Memory I already have all 700.
  11. I posted this awhile back on a status but it makes sense to post here: A bit of a tip for those players who get stuck on the infamous and eternally aggravating RNG hellscape that is hunting for the BlackAgumon medal. It doesn't have to be so bad. I have read stories of people grinding 8+ hours of just restarting the game over and over to a save that started up seconds before their digifarm quests updated on the bulletin board. Do this and you will reduce that time to an average of maybe 20 minutes, as I was having trouble, changed my tactic, and got in within three or four reloads. Step 1) Have three, no more than four, of your digifarms have all ten digimon in rookie form (total of 30 to 40 rookies). Step 2) Do NOT have any farm goods placed on the investigating farms. Sleuth Secret goods increase the chances of hacker battles, they actively hinder obtaining digimon specific search quests. Step 3) Have all farms investigate at once (It will be about 35 minutes of in game time for them to complete, and the timer will not go down while you're in the digifarm area) Step 4) Save in front of the bulletin board when you know you have a minute or two left on the investigations. MAKE SURE ALL PREVIOUS BOARD MISSIONS ARE COMPLETED. INCOMPLETE BOARD MISSIONS ARE NOT OVERWRITTEN AND THEY WILL NOT CHANGE. Step 5) Reload until BlackAgumon's Missing Property mission appears, accept the mission, finish the mission, obtain the most obnoxious medal in the whole game.
  12. I wrote a trophy guide three weeks ago and it is still pending. I'm not sure if I did anything wrong or if its that backed up for approving guides. Just curious and looking for a quick answer so I don't stress.
  13. Then I guess you won't get the 100%. Time to pack up and move on. Nothing to see here.
  14. Nier Replicant White Snow Edition! I'm so excited to revist one of my favorite PS3 games in all its cheesy, remastered glory!

  15. 11 platinums in the month of April is unprecedented for me, even when discounting the three easy platinums of the space shooter three pack with Null Drifter, Red Death, and Project Starship. Will likely take a break from so many platinums to focus on my new arrival, Nier Replicant. Platinumed this game back in the day on an old account and plan to do so again with the new game.
  16. Introduction I am a proud work-from-home father of two who has recently entered his 30's. My whole life I have been very organized and lately have picked up actively trophy hunting whereas before I made it a rare, often casual affair. This checklist is an attempt to catalog everything I own and have on offer at any point on my current Playstation account. I have been a user of PSNProfiles for quite some time, but only recently have I started enveloping myself in the community. I just want to share my collection and the games I have on offer as a hilarious attempt at salvaging a sense of pride and accomplishment in my progress and acquisitions. I am happy to discuss my experiences with the games I own and have played and am willing to take recommendations on what I should shoot for next. I will be keeping this checklist up to date as often as I possibly can and I am excited to share what my work and time have amounted to in the realm of Playstation gaming. Completed Games Here is where I have cataloged all of my completed games thus far, separated between platinum trophies earned and 100% complete games without platinum trophies. Platinum Trophies (99 ) 100% Completed (23 Non-plat) Incomplete Games Here is where I have cataloged all of the games I currently own either digital or physical copies as a representation of my true backlog. Games marked with a 0% have not been cataloged on PSNProfiles yet. I have marked games I will NOT complete for whatever reason in red and the games with a 💀 are ones I do not intend to play at all and are only part of my collection for reasons such as purchased for my wife's alt account, PS Plus monthly free game I snagged without much actual interest, and games that have unobtainable trophies. PS5 PS4 PS3
  17. It might not be a heavily appreciated title to those who are not fans of the Angry Video Game Nerd, but I found the Angry Video Game Nerd I & II Deluxe to be an absolute blast to play. It's not too hard and not too easy. You don't need a guide (though I did just write one and submitted it to PSNProfiles because I loved the game that much). You can choose your difficulty, and even the easiest mode is not a cakewalk. It's two and a half games in one and totally worth the price tag.
  18. Strange, I just platinumed this game and ran into zero issues completing these tasks and getting the trophies.
  19. Finally went back to Digimon Story after so many years putting it off. I regret doing that back then because I immediately became hooked after I pushed through the first chapter and really got to understand the gameplay. Story ended up being better than I expected. I enjoyed it so much I bought Hacker's Memory before I even completed the first one. Now I'm one trophy away from finishing the sequel and hoping they make another one soon.

For those who may have clicked on this status update at the sight of Digimon Story, I can assume you have played the game or are interested in playing the game. If you plan to complete it, know the grinding to obtain the medals can be a little chaotic, and yes, you will have an easier time doing it if you download a spreadsheet and when you're in the postgame, deleting all the listed medals you have already obtained to maximize the efficiency of knowing what you're hunting for.

  20. I managed to get through the grind in the end. Turns out there was a ridiculously easy way to get the dreaded BlackAgumon Medal in the first game that just required a little bit of knowledge before going in to it.
  21. Its one of the best games on the PS3 IMO its worth owning.
  22. This is 8/10 hard, easily. I don't have a lot on this account but almost platinumed it on an older account back in the day. The speed challenges are ridiculous, beating the bosses and collecting the bestiary is very grindy and a little tricky. The collecting of the weapons is rough because of all the additional challenges that come from it. The tower defense game is manageable with a guide where you must do precisely what it says. Its a fun game but very skill demanding.
  23. Hollow Knight, because you look like a player who likes to challenge themselves with quality games.
  24. Multiplayer? Hard pass.
  25. Hollow Knight, because it is bloody worth it.
