  1. Platinum #143: Tomb Raider Definitive Edition (PS4)

    First trophy: 30th Mar 2016 9:48:10 PM

Time to platinum (real time): 4 years, 1 month, 2 weeks

Time to platinum (in game time): Around 40 hours

    Platinum rarity (PSNProfiles): 5.57%

    Game rating: 8/10

    Trophy rating difficulty: 4/10

A very good game with an awful trophy list, hence why it took so long for me to get the platinum. The game itself is very good with the classic feel of Tomb Raider. The multiplayer trophies are just extremely long and boring to do. The online has never been alive anyway, so boosting alone was not a good experience. The good thing is that I had a lot of fun with the single player, even though some trophies had a chance of bugging out, I didn't experienced it myself.

The worst part in Tomb Raider games is that you have to watch Lara die over and over again. It's soul-crushing to lose her so many times.

  3. The level I grinded was 5-1 on Extreme if I remember correctly. I was able to gain almost 2 levels per run. Also, don't forget that you need to collect all the hidden skill points in all the levels.

After more than 8 years, I finally got it! As you can see, it's time for backlog time! I don't want to buy any more new games until I finish all the games I bought along the years and this one was on my list. It was basically a level up grind, but it's not for nothing since I really want to do all the DLCs too. Great game!

Oh my, this one took a while, but the game was so fun that it didn't matter much. In my opinion, this is the best Borderlands game around and the best co-op game. It's just so much fun to play with a buddy and farm stuff over and over again to become stronger. The gameplay is great, the story is always very funny and entertaining and the different characters add to the variety. The DLCs were also all pretty fun and different. All in all, this is just a great game!

Nice work! I also think that one was the best. 3 was a lot of fun, too, though.

After more than 4 years, it's finally done! I started this game with my kid and we had a lot of fun together playing this. The Skylanders franchise is very underrated in terms of gameplay and fun, pretty much all of these games are great! Of course, you need a lot of figurines to be able to do a couple of trophies, hence why the rarity of the platinum. Pretty fun game if you can get it on the cheap!

What a fantastic co-op experience! Sure, the game is a little predictable and the gameplay can be clunky at time, but it's so well crafted in terms of co-op that I can forgive the game. The story was really cool and the twist at the end, we didn't see it coming at all! If you're searching for a short co-op game to play with a non-gamer or with a friend, I would recommend this one in a heartbeat. Do it!

  12. Platinum #138: Aces of the Luftwaffe Squadron (PS4)

    First trophy: 25th Nov 2018 9:45:38 PM

Time to platinum (real time): 1 year, 4 months, 3 weeks, 4 days, 6 hours

Time to platinum (in game time): Around 25 hours

    Platinum rarity (PSNProfiles): 19.71%

    Game rating: 6.5/10

    Trophy rating difficult: 6/10

This game is a really cool shoot em' up and I LOVE shoot em' up games. The bosses are really cool and the story is also enjoyable. The art style is also very flashy, even though sometimes it's really hard to see the enemies on the screen. Why the 6.5 rating then? The game is very grindy and it's a shame. Not only in terms of trophy, but you actually need to grind to get past some levels as your ships are just not strong enough. So you need to replay and replay the same levels over and over again and it's a shame because the game is really cool, just very unbalanced.

  14. Just to add a visual representation, here's a video showing how to do it easily:
  15. Platinum #137: Detroit Become Human (PS4) First trophy: 25th Nov 2018 4:42:46 PM Time to platinum (real time): 1 year, 4 months, 2 weeks Time to platinum (in game time): Around 20 hours Platinum rarity (PSNProfiles): 17.27% Game rating: 8.5/10 Trophy rating difficult: 4/10 Wow, this game was awesome! Without going too much into spoilers territory, I really enjoyed the story behind this game. It was special and out of the ordinary. Even the second playthrough for the platinum was interesting since you get to know the characters in a different light and doing different choices was really enjoyable. I still need to play Beyond Two Souls, so that might be my next game in that genre. Recommended!
