  1. Platinum #147: Final Fantasy X (Vita)

    First trophy: 7th Feb 2016 9:13:45 PM

Time to platinum (real time): 4 years, 4 months, 3 weeks

Time to platinum (in game time): Around 100 hours

    Platinum rarity (PSNProfiles): 8.76%

    Game rating: 9/10

    Trophy rating difficulty: 5/10

Man, what a ride! After approximately 60 hours of grinding on and off, I finally got around to finish this beast of a game. I love this game very much, but to be honest, the grinding was really unnecessary (I look at you, sphere grids). Nonetheless, I enjoyed the ride, especially since I was playing on the beautiful Vita, so the grinding could be done anywhere, anytime. I really think that the story of this game is among the best of any Final Fantasy games and that the characters are extremely well done. I loved this game since the first time I played on release day on my Playstation 2 and will always love it. Instant classic!

    Game rating: 8.5/10

    Trophy rating difficulty: 4/10

This game was my first Far Cry game and let's say that I'm a fan now! Even if the game is kinda old at this point, I had a lot of fun. The story was forgettable, but the gameplay really shined and kept me going. The gunplay was fluid and really fun and it was also really cool to explore the map. Which game would you recommend going for now in the Far Cry series? I have Far Cry 3 Remastered, Far Cry 5 and Far Cry A New Dawn.

Not sure, it just happened that way I guess. I don't mind going back, I love doing that actually 😄

  3. [Spider-Man] Finally got Spider-Man to 100%! Second playthrough was a lot of fun and the Ultimate difficulty is where the game really shine! Enjoyed every seconds of it.

Well, let's say I'm disappointed. I've been eyeing this game for months now, thinking this was exactly what I needed: a JRPG based on old-school JRPGs with tons of reference, good music and a great gameplay. Let's say that the only good thing about this game was the combat system. The story was boring and convulated. The fact that there's no voice acting really hurt the game in my opinion. The game was so generic, there's literally only one setting and all the dungeons looks the same. I feel like this game started with a good idea but the devs ran out of time and decided to cut a lot of content. There's literally empty towns on the map that don't serve any purpose. My recommendation would be: find yourself a better JRPG, there's tons around!

Oh boy, where do I start with this? Let me say this first: the game is extremely fun and I loved the time I spent with it. It's very unique and an experience I never experienced before and that's pretty rare in this day and age. The issue is: it's very buggy on PS4. Like... extremely buggy. Framedrops all the time, losing saves, collectibles not counting, glitch platinum, etc... So if you're interested in buying this game on PS4, hold on a couple weeks until everything is fixed. The game's is very much worth the wait, you won't be disappointed when everything's fixed.

Yeah, it was very frustrating as the game shouldn't have launched with that many issues. I still had a lot of fun though. Enjoy the patch guys! 😅

It's a fun game indeed, but very buggy! I lost about 2 hours of progress overnight on my save for no reason.

  8. Platinum #143: Tomb Raider Definitive Edition (PS4)

Time to platinum (in game time): Around 40 hours

    Platinum rarity (PSNProfiles): 5.57%

    Game rating: 8/10

    Trophy rating difficulty: 4/10

A very good game with an awful trophy list, hence why it took so long for me to get the platinum. The game itself is very good with the classic feel of Tomb Raider. The multiplayer trophies are just extremely long and boring to do. The online has never been alive anyway, so boosting alone was not a good experience. The good thing is that I had a lot of fun with the single player, even though some trophies had a chance of bugging out, I didn't experienced it myself.

    1. cronocyde

      cronocyde

I loved the game too. I started Rise but need to get back to it. It was really cool too. The MP trophies are always bad in my opinion, hence why I commented that. I also watched a show or listened to a podcast while grinding, it's always better like that ;-)

  9. Platinum #142: Borderlands (PS3)

Time to platinum (in game time): Around 40 hours

    Platinum rarity (PSNProfiles): 17.78%

    Game rating: 8/10

    Trophy rating difficulty: 5/10

After more than 8 years, I finally got it! As you can see, it's time for backlog time! I don't want to buy any more new games until I finish all the games I bought along the years and this one was on my list. It was basically a level up grind, but it's not for nothing since I really want to do all the DLCs too. Great game!

  10. Platinum #140: Skylanders Superchargers (PS4)

    First trophy: 27th Dec 2015 11:20:38 AM

    Game rating: 8/10

    Trophy rating difficult: 5/10

After more than 4 years, it's finally done! I started this game with my kid and we had a lot of fun together playing this. The Skylanders franchise is very underrated in terms of gameplay and fun, pretty much all of these games are great! Of course, you need a lot of figurines to be able to do a couple of trophies, hence why the rarity of the platinum. Pretty fun game if you can get it on the cheap!

What a fantastic co-op experience! Sure, the game is a little predictable and the gameplay can be clunky at time, but it's so well crafted in terms of co-op that I can forgive the game. The story was really cool and the twist at the end, we didn't see it coming at all! If you're searching for a short co-op game to play with a non-gamer or with a friend, I would recommend this one in a heartbeat. Do it!

This game is a really cool shoot em' up and I LOVE shoot em' up games. The bosses are really cool and the story is also enjoyable. The art style is also very flashy, even though sometimes it's really hard to see the enemies on the screen. Why the 6.5 rating then? The game is very grindy and it's a shame. Not only in terms of trophy, but you actually need to grind to get past some levels as your ships are just not strong enough. So you need to replay and replay the same levels over and over again and it's a shame because the game is really cool, just very unbalanced.

Thanks! It's manageable if you're willing to grind quite a bit. The main game is not that hard, the DLC is where the challenge is. It's a fun game!

  17. With less than three weeks now from the official release of Super Mario Maker 2, I wanted to do something different. Here's the 10 features I'm most excited about in Super Mario Maker 2!

This is actually my first scripted and voice over video I've done on the channel and I spent a lot of time of this one. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Would you like to see more of this style of video before the release of Super Mario Maker 2? Let me know down below! :-)

  18. The first fully edited episode of Cuphead on the Nintendo Switch is up on the channel! A lot of deaths, retrying and clutch moments is included in this one, hope you'll enjoy this!

Cuphead is awesome so far! Depending on how well it does on the channel, I have a lot more episodes incoming since we're near the end of the game already. The harder parts and challenges are yet to come!

As always, thanks for watching :-)

I played the demo of Moss. Moss is more a platformer since you move your character around. Ghost Giant is more like a puzzle game and you don't move your character around. What you need to do is move the objects around and do certain interactions to make the story advance. It's a different experience for sure, I would recommend it personally 😀

Awesome SMW rom hack so far with awesome music. The stages are kinda challenging, but nothing too ridiculous so far. The soundtrack is definitely the high point so far, so much awesomeness!
