I find it a little obnoxious that there are like two truly noteworthy bad launches in a console generation (No Man's Sky and Cyberpunk 2077) and yet everyone still yells "this is why you don't preorder games!"
Fallout 76 is perfect example why you shouldn't pre-order a game. Falls advertising, bugs and performance issues and shameless monetization are valid reasons why you should never pay for a cat in the bag.
Well, if people are preordering MMO's and games as service games expecting finished products... no wonder they're always disappointed lol. By definition they aren't finished at release.
