  1. The guy is right. Crunch time before BL3 is not the time for this. No devs are going to be pulled off to release this DLC so we can get the trophies. We need to redouble efforts a few months after the BL3 glow wears off. Ask them to take care of their loyal and repeat customers then.
  2. I got my hopes up to auto-pop out of the Underdome. I finished the larger challenge on The Gully and "Big Tournament" popped with "The Gully". I waited hoping the others would pop too, but no such luck.
  3. This is why the two games I have missing timestamps on are both Vita games. If you let the battery run down to the point it dies completely and prompts for the date/time setting, you have to connect to PSN again before earning any trophies.
  4. This trophy is a huge pile of bullshit. Max difficulty, AI blocks everything you can throw at it, can't so much as pause for a breather. Edit: For anyone else still working on this use the Korean team with Kim as your first player. Spam the downward multi-kick (up to jump then down+X). Each time it lands is worth 600 points. Don't charge up. You want the first group of enemies to last as long as possible. The attack is worth 600 points regardless of how much damage it does. I got just over 28K from the first group, barely got past the second group and just edged out the last 5K on the third.
  5. Just a heads up that the DLC isn't free. It's only $2.99, but I'd rather not give EA any more of my money.
  6. Especially annoying in a game with a speedrun trophy are at least two game breaking bugs. I'm not alone as I've found a few discussions about them elsewhere I just wanted more people to know. One is in the transition between chapters 4 and 5. You need to find something to boost you up to reach a ladder. When you do and interact with the ladder the next chapter is supposed to load. Unfortunately you find yourself at the bottom of the ladder still in an almost entirely unloaded level. Leaving the room will cause you to fall forever.l forcing a restart. The second is a random fall through the floor bug that can happen coming out of the barn or the grain silo in the first chapter. I only encountered this once, but it was enough to end my speedrun early. I read the developer promised a large patch, but it's not come yet as the PS4 version is still 1.0. The first chapter load bug has completely halted my progression in the game as I've tried deleting my save, deleting and reinstalling the game. Next step will be to use my old OG PS4. Don't get me wrong, I really like the game from the characters and humor to the levels and atmosphere. It's really well done, I just wish I could play it. EDIT: Tried deleting saves and starting over, deleted the game and started over, installed on a different PS4 and did another run, all end with chapter 5 loading with me still in the last room of chapter 4 with no way to progress.
  7. Fearing I was about to break my Vita on level 9-8 I stopped for a beer and a breather. I noticed I had moved into the first slow wheel mechanism when I paused the game. I also noticed I didn't die when the wheel moved over me. Jackpot! Play until you get to the black button and pause the game. The mechanism will continue to move while the timer is stopped. You'll have plenty of time to complete it with three stars.
  8. AvengedEvil, it works in most levels and makes levels after 9-8 very easy. One thing it won't work on are the black electric barriers. If one hits you while the game is paused you'll still die. There are only a few levels with those and they're not difficult so it's not a problem.
  9. I'm not mater, but I'm solidly above average at Tetris. I've got the level set to 15 and tand lateral movement cranked up as high as it can go. No matter how quickly I mash the up button to instantly drop pieces I can't come anywhere close to getting this. I can consistently get in the 14 line range but no closer. I've played this for days until my thumbs achieve and have made absolutely no progress. This is utter bullshit. I'm convinced everyone who got this did it pre-purchase when it was exploitable.
  10. Cornshaq: Make sure you unlocked the pig as well. It popped randomly for me at the end of the credits after beating the game without unlocking the heaven level.
  11. Just looking to trade for a single very rare item. This will get me 'Swap Meet' and 'Storm Trooper' as well as the 100% (for now). Gladly trade back the very rare item afterward as well as the rest of my items; three accelerator crates, a rare nitro crate, a rare turbo crate, and a rare decal. Disregard. A buddy of mine came to my rescue. Back to 100%. PSN: thistleboy
  12. An update to my previous post. I played through the game the first time without issue on original PS4 hardware. On new game plus I'm crashing constantly. Uninstalling/reinstalling, rebuilding database, etc won't help. I've been submitting crash reports every time and I'm up to #64 not that anyone even looks at them. It seems that my scythes are doing it now that I've got them doing thousands of damage every hit. As if the game just crashes duty to ridiculously high damage. Reminiscent of how LEGO Indiana Jones would crash if you collected too many studs because it could handle large numbers.
  13. I just confirmed that the game is essentially broken on slim and pro hardware. It was crashing to hard that the entire system was just shutting off completely. I dusted off my original PS4 and haven't had a problem since. Even backtracked to the locations I was avoiding because they guaranteed a crash.
  14. The game crashes badly to the point of making it unplayable. On my PS4 Slim the crash takes down the whole console. Whole system just turns off. There are threads already over Playstation.com about what it does to the slim. I can't get too far into it due to it constantly turning off my system. EDIT: After some research it seems this is limited to the slim and pro hardware in general. The game runs just fine on the original PS4.

*An update to my previous comment.* I'm almost done with the DLC and hope to finish it today. I ended up working out a method that's proving effective long enough to run through the entire DLC campaign. I fly a lot and have to use those cold air jets when the turbulence gets too bad. My skin will flush and get warm before I start to sweat. This is a sure sign of motion sickness. I decided to turn on the mini-split AC unit and have it blast cold air on me while I played just like the air jets on a plane. Sure enough it did the trick. Combined with playing while standing and leaning in the direction the pod was moving (I played as much of it without moving as possible) I was able to play through the DLC twice without needing a break. Two more minor trophies and I'll have my 100% back. Hoping to help anyone else dealing with VR motion sickness.
  16. The game isn't bad. It's not great, but it's not bad. I'm almost done with brutal mode (which is a breeze with that one shot pistol) and I've had a few slowdowns only on two bosses and one freeze. The trophies are rare because it's decent looking and always on sale so it sells at a decent rate. People just never finish it.
  17. REALLY late to the Rocket League party. Having a hell of a time with "Budding Artist" and "Certifiable" trophies. Didn't realize item trading was a thing. If anyone could help me out with a trade I'd be eternally grateful. I'm not usually a big online gamer so I'd trade the items right back and be on my way. PSN ID: thistleboy
  18. I'm kinda fucked by the Mirkwood glitch right now and nothing I've tried is working. The write-up is nice and all, but the TL;DR is "I had a convenient backup save from the previous chapter I loaded up". For anyone who doesn't this doesn't help. Unfortunately a lot of people like me don't learn of the glitch until it happens. It's starting to look like I'm going to need to find someone at the beginning of chapter 5 to run through it with me. UPDATE: I started over completely and my game glitched on Mirkwood on my Legendary run AGAIN! Luckily I offered to run through Heroic and Legendary with another player just to finally get it done. Had to leave unexpectedly early in the Legendary run and found that my once corrupted save was now reset to Chapter 1 Fornost. This allowed me to come back later and run the whole thing through again and pass Mirkwood. TL;DR: Finding someone on your difficulty right before Mirkwood is impossible. Play the last level on Heroic to reset to our save to the beginning of Legendary and try again.
  19. For anyone having problems with the second screen I got it working consistently by having the app open to the second screen before starting thee Playroom. Worked perfectly after that.

I have PSVR and was stoked to get this DLC as I love everything Super Stardust. Didn't take 5 minutes before I had to take it off from motion sickness. I've gotten the platinum on Playroom VR, 100%'d Batman VR and played every demo that came with it and not a hint of motion sickness until this one. I'm going to keep trying periodically until I work out a method to play this. I'm gonna be so pissed if nausea keeps me from getting this 100%. For this looking to play, as opposed to other games, you move around a lot of aim by looking at the enemy. The fast movement of the vehicle combined with having to wave your head around like Stevie Wonder makes this a ride on the vomit comet for me. I hope you fare better.
  21. I had to say I kind of freaked out when I found this thread most of the way through GoW 2. I'd already hit the home button, synced trophies, closed the game, etc. I nervously completed the rest of the game half expecting trophies to not pop when they should but thankfully I ran into no problems at all. Only snag I had was missing an uber chest that necessitated most of another playthrough on bonus play. Just wanted to let others know that what people are experiencing isn't guaranteed.
  22. I, like most people, bought a PlayStation TV and found it quickly gathering dust. I must have missed it, but about 6-7 months ago a mod was circulated describing how to use the email client to modify the internal file that tells the system which games can and can't be launched on the system. I immediately saw the possibility of redeeming CoD: BOD from the 64% it's been stuck at for over two years. Playing it on a TV with a real controller without my hands cramping all the time sounded awesome. I picked up every missing trophy except for Double Down which turns out to be impossible to get without the touchscreens. I'm practicing to get it now on my Vita so since all of the other games I have to play are either doable on the Vita or compatible with the PlayStation TV I updated it to 3.60 (nullifying the mod) and synced my trophies. NO FUCKING TIMESTAMPS?!? Not a single trophy I got on the PlayStation TV recorded a timestamp. What. The. Fuck. Of course I don't notice this until after I synced. Even though the mod is not a hack to play pirated software, illegal game backups or hack trophies it will screw any trophies you earn on a game that's not supposed to be run on the device. I've since run across quite a few forums where people say what games they're eager to be able to play on their TVs, but I have to strongly urge against it if you care about your trophy profile. I didn't see this warning anywhere else so I wanted to post it here where it might do some good. EDIT: Forgot to mention that the device looks to have overwritten the time stamps of trophies I already had with blank time stamps. Fucking great...
  23. You may actually be right that it was a matter of playing with such an old firmware. I think it was still 3.30 prior to updating. I just finished Double Down and got the plat on my Vita (sweet time stamps!) so I retested the game card on the Playstation TV and lo and behold the mod still works. I can still run Black Ops Declassified on the current firmware so it looks like the mod sticks as long as you did it before updating. Not sure it's worth the risk of running an unauthorized game on it while connected to PSN. I've never done anything with even the most remote possibility of getting banned so I might not do it again.
  24. You can boost XP related trophies solo. Start a private rescue game, choose the Second Wind perk, set the health kit limit to 20 and play as a survivor. You'll be able to complete each round optimally in about 8-9 minutes with about 28-30K XP. It's far quicker than playing legit. This will get you the level 10 and 60 trophies as well as earning more than enough for Shopaholic.
  25. Doesn't look like I'll be able to get the plat on this one. Tell Tale's games are always pretty glitchy with most episodes freezing at least once, but episode 5 of Tales From the Borderlands seems to be hopelessly glitched for me. I get as far as and the game freezes EVERY SINGLE TIME on the following loading screen. NOTHING I can do will fix it. I'm hoping someone else might have run into this and has a fix I've not tried. What I have done: - Restarted the game via long PS press and "close the application". (What fixed every other Tell Tale freeze I've ever encountered) - Restarted the system. - Deleted the entire game and reinstalled each chapter from the store. - Deleted the game, reinstalled episode 1 from the store then each of the other chapters from the in-game menu. - Deleted the game, reinstalled episodes 1 from the store and episode 5 from the in-game menu. - Deleted the game, refreshed licenses then reinstalled episodes 1 and 5 only. None of these have helped. After each of these steps I tried both loading my original save as well as a fresh chapter 5 save file where the game randomizes choices for the "unplayed" episodes. I'm completely at a loss. There's seemingly nothing I can do to finish this game. Anyone else run into something like this or found a fix I didn't try?
