  1. If self-forced completion of a trophy list is something that prevents you from buying and potentially enjoying a video game, I would suggest that you re-evaluate if trophy hunting is something you truly want to do. As well, re-evaluate if it is affecting your enjoynment of video games.
  2. Went from Level 25 (73%) to Level 377 (0%). The thing is though, I didn't know anything about these changes until 5 minutes ago. So I when I saw my level at 377, I was like "Wait, what? Something must have glitched out".
  3. Consider another PS5 (Disc Edition) pre-ordered! Sure is expensive, (CAD $712 incl. taxes) but I feel it was worth it.
  4. Platinum #25 - Life is Strange: Before the Storm Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Date Completed: May 12, 2020 Playthrough Time: 13h 20m 43s Specific Rating: 9.3/10 The Excellent - The actresses for Chloe (Rhianna DeVries) and Rachel (Kylie Brown) both do amazing performances of their respective characters and presented them as if they were two actual persons. - A story that deals with love, hatred, and loss of family and friends, the uneasy feelings of teenage relationships, and learning the difference between lying to someone you love in order to protect them from the truth or to manipulate and control them. A story that will surely resonate with me for years to come. - The Backtalk Challenges and Graffiti Tags are a perfect match for Chloe's personality. - A fantastic soundtrack with songs playing at appropriate times. - Amberprice. Nuff said. The Good - Beautiful art and environment design. While certain locations (Blackwell Academy, the Prices' Home) are reused from the first game, it is welcoming to revisit these locations once more. - A cast of unique characters, both new and returning. Unfortunately, most of the new characters don't get as much screen time as they deserve. - Now while the core gameplay hasn't improved much from the first game (Walk from A to B, solve this environmental puzzle), there is still that enjoyment of discovering new story/dialogue bits and talking to the game's characters. The Bad - The fate of the main antagonist is rather anticlimactic. - Disappointed with the game's length (three episodes instead of five). The Atrocious - N/A
  5. Just pure, high-speed nostalgia. Hot Action Cop - Goin' Down On It
  6. Homefront: The Revolution (3.6/10) A game that was released in such a piss-poor state, I came to the conclusion that the game was obviously pushed out of early development just for a quick cash grab. On top of it's awful technical performance, the rest of the game suffers even worst. One, the story (I can't believe nor take seriously that the U.S. would buy military equipment and weapons from North Korea. And that North Korea would successfully invade and capture the U.S. AND, that the international community would just sit back and do nothing!). Two, the characters (A collection of carbon copy cliches and a silent, no personality whatsoever protagonist is what you get here). And three, the gameplay (Terribly slow gunplay, dumbest A.I. I have ever seen and just an all around feeling of boredom and waste). HTR is a terrible game. Be very wary of games released by Dambuster Studios.
  7. Platinum #22 - 11-11 Memories Retold Difficulty: 1.7/10 Game itself: 9.0/10 An amazing narrative-adventure game set during World War One that focuses on two protagonists who both have their own reasons to serve. The only notable problem I can think of is a collectible that will glitch out and disappear if you don't complete a missable, optional objective beforehand or you will need to restart the chapter from the beginning to collect it. I can highly recommend this if you enjoy narrative-adventure games.
  8. While sure it isn't a new next gen game, I will buy this nonetheless. Because I believe it is worth my money and a third or more playthrough of it on PS4 would be awesome to do so.
  9. I would say my favourite Playstation 2 games are: 5. Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland 4. Star Wars Battlefront 2 3. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 2. The Simpsons: Hit and Run 1. Need for Speed: Most Wanted Those were the top five and the rest are in no particular order: Ratchet & Clank 1, 2, 3 and 4 Jak & Daxter 1, 2 and 3 Sly Cooper 1, 2 and 3 ATV Offroad Fury Medal of Honor: Rising Sun Medal of Honor: Frontline Burnout 2, 3 and Revenge Ty the Tasmanian Tiger Shadow of the Colossus (ICO would have been on this list too but however I played the PS3 HD version) Red Dead Revolver There is probably more but these are only ones I can remember.
  10. I wonder how long these price increases will last for. However though, they don't bother me...yet.
  11. The PS4 game I have enjoyed the most so far is Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (Never thought being a pirate would be so damn fun) (From the top of my head) I am anticipating Infamous Second Son, Watch Dogs, The Crew, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Dragon Age: Inquisition, and The Order: 1886.
  12. The Walking Dead Season 2, Episode 2 "A House Divided"
  13. Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen (Not even near as much fun as the first one. Got bored playing it after 20 minutes, luckily it was a rental.) Test Drive Unlimited 2 (Couldn't stop laughing at how bad it was and then got really frustrated when I tried to play it, also a rental.) R.U.S.E (Definitely not bad, I just sucked at it. Haven't played a top down strategy game on console since.) Medal of Honor: Warfighter (One of my personal worst games ever, though a rental) Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days (WORST waste of $60 dollars EVER)
  14. Hitman Absolution, A Heavy Blow
