  1. Thank you! 😊👍
  2. I am with you, @AffectatiousDonk. I also look forward to @themindisacity‘s walkthrough, and check every day for one. 🙂 To @themindisacity: I thank you for your hard work in all that you do, especially on PSTrophies. Your walkthroughs and guides have helped me numerous times, so I thank you! 🙂👍
  3. @wuwiwa I ended up testing the hidden-object and puzzle scenes for myself from the bonus menu right after I posted that and you’re right. I made absolutely sure I did everything in under two minutes (which is the current, updated requirement) for all hidden-object and puzzle scenes, besides Atomic Memory, and that trophy progress bar didn’t move at all. I don’t know if I’ll wait until they release their new patch (which will hopefully include bonus-menu capability), or just do a new playthrough, but I’ll decide soon enough. Thank you for the reply! UPDATE: I ended up doing a whole new playthrough. Before every hidden-object and puzzle scene I felt might be a risk to the under-two-minutes time, I backed up my save, and also checked to make sure the trophy progress bars (in the bonus menu) were moving each time. (You can compare them to the skip ones to make sure - just don’t skip anything and both bars should always be equal to each other.) For Atomic Memory, I wrote down every card on a paper and matched them all, pausing at every single step along the way. Finally, that platinum is mine!
  4. @wuwiwa Did you get the trophy by doing the puzzles in the bonus menu, or in a playthrough? Several of us have been wondering if the bonus menu hidden-object and puzzle scenes count for sure. Also, I agree with you about your appreciation and thanks to posters and the developer for all of the work, suggestions and help provided!
  5. I’m going to do a run-through tomorrow, now that the patch is live!
  6. That’s what I figure.
  7. There’s no patch for the US/Canada copy yet either. 😐
  8. My copy is v1.01, which I’ve had since before a patch was supposedly “live,” so I don’t know what’s going on.
  9. My top-fav ND games are the Uncharted series and The Last of Us, all of them among the very best games I've ever played. (I voted on The Last of Us.)
  10. For anyone who needs help with this specific Cultural Insight collectible, check out this video:
  11. The last two platinum trophies I got (within the past few days) were for... ~ The Testament of Sherlock Holmes ~ Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments I very much liked both games, especially the latter, and I'd really like to see more from the Sherlock Holmes series in the future.
  12. Can't wait for Batman: Arkham Knight! :D

    1. SuperLlamaLord

This is the first Batman game that has truly captivated my attention.

Really? I loved the previous games, especially the first two.

Ditto. Getting that sweet Batman PS4!

  13. Just to let you all know... Supposedly, from what I've read, the PS3 version of the game (at least) is glitched in that you can't actually pick up cylinder recording 320, even though it's sitting right there in the cabinet. Thankfully, you don't actually need to get and listen to it for it to count as a collectible piece of evidence; it's merely something to check out.
  14. My record is 5,708m in the original and 8,503m in J.J. Deluxe... When J.J. Deluxe was brand new, I was actually 2nd place in the world, but now I've dropped way down to 176th place (mainly because I haven't been playing), haha.
  15. I couldn't agree more with what Dreakon13, katniss1444, snakebit10, GoldenSurprise, RenegadeAngel-, and RedMustang72 have said... Yes, I know that's a lot of the people who have commented, but I didn't want to repeat what was already expressed in those comments, or post a giant wall of quotes, haha. Personally, I admire David Cage's work. Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls remain two of my fav games of the PS3 era, and they'll forever hold that place. I both love and appreciate his character-driven and emotionally fueled style of storytelling (QTEs and all). I also consider his work to be a positive element to the "games are art" argument, regardless of whether or not some people find it hard to call his projects "games" in the first place... I can't wait to see what else he has in store, and what unique elements he brings to his projects. About David Cage as a person and gamemaker, he seems like a very nice guy to me, and I don't know him personally to write him off as pompous, arrogant, etc. Sure, I can see where some people are coming from when they think of him differently, but I see him as a gamemaker who has a very different idea of what games could be, and I appreciate his wishes in wanting to see people - gamers and game developers alike - acknowledge that something very different from the norm can be great, and should be seen as another valid piece of art. Industry "outsiders" such as Peter Molyneux, SUDA51, SWERY (a.k.a. Swery65), and even the great Hideo Kojima are quite similar, in that respect, just in their own, very different ways... and all of them could be seen as either great artists or high-horse targets, depending on what gamer you ask. That's one of the biggest elements that set these gamemakers apart from many others, and I quite like that about them.
