  1. Well, I just finished the game and logged just over 80 hours. I chose to start out on Hardcore difficulty and by the time I finished the Agency missions, I had around 30% completion; I chose to stick with it and work on the rest of the trophies. I'm thinking I could have started over in Easy and done it much faster. Overall I was very happy with the game though so the 80 hours went by fairly quick. How about everyone else?
  2. I didn't know how much I was really going to like the whole cross of InFamous and Vampires to be honest. I'm really glad I gave it a chance though! I wish they would make an full retail game dedicated to this type of story line. I loved the integration of powers (especially being able to fly as a swarm of bats)! The trophy list was pretty easy and the story was great. I didn't rush at all and it only took me about 3.5 hours. Anybody else have thoughts (good or bad) to add?
  3. That sucks I did it straight through one Saturday. I took short breaks here and there, but just left it paused. I guess I lucked out. Playing through BF4 sp, I found a ton of minor glitches and even feel through the map a time or two, haha. I heard about an issue where you lose all sp progress of you play any mp, so I finished all sp trophies in as close to one sitting as possible. It's pretty irritating that games are coming out with bigger price tags and bigger issue than ever before
  4. I concur. The cut scene graphics are amazing. The in game graphics are quite awesome too, but the contrast of the two makes it seem like the in game are inferior to me. I'm thoroughly enjoying the campaign and trophies.
  5. I recently started my hc playthrough and am able to back up my save to USB and ps+. I'm not sure why it wasn't working for you unless your USB drive didn't have enough room on it. There was recently a patch though, so maybe the save file was locked prior to that. You could always re-import your ps3 save and start from there. Data loss ducks
  6. I would definitely purchase it!
  7. I'm a little late to this party, but I had the same issue. I thought the Ghuls just had to kill the Groug, but the explosive damage from dispatching them is the key. I searched high and low for a good place to do this in free-roam... While it should be possible, I struggled with getting enough Ghuls branded to actually do anything to the Groug. I ended up using the 2nd save slot and starting the DLC over. It doesn't take long to get back to this point and it worked like a charm on the first try once I knew what I was supposed to do, haha.
  8. While you can filter down the trophies in the Trophy Log, I believe he is looking for numerical statistics. For example: 2014 Statistics 10 Platinum 15 Gold 32 Silver 211 Bronze 32 Games Played 12 Games Completed etc.. You can get these numbers manually, but it would definitely be nice to have a snapshot of the year (filterable, of course) that does all the counting for you.
  9. Pretty much what everyone else has said. In addition, there seems to be lag issues from time to time. 1 second of lag makes all the difference in PvP - I can't tell you how many times i've gone around a corner to get out of the line of fire and died. The biggest point to note here, is whether you are in Iron Banner or not. Iron Banner allows "level advantages".
  10. There seemed to be a lot of interest when you originally asked about them. I'd be willing to purchase more to help you offset your "losses".
  11. How many orders did you get Simula?
  12. # 150 Destiny Earned by 644 of 111,953 PS4 game owners This game is a fantastic pile of crap. LOL. What usually defines a solid game is its story. Bungie decided to waiver from this paradigm with Destiny. The story starts out very strong - even if it is a bit confusing. Normally, this wouldn't be a big deal because you would understand things as the game progressed. Nope. Not in this game. You won't get much in terms of story from this game, so don't get your hopes up too much. Now even though the story sucked (or was non-existent), the gameplay is highly addictive. The game has beautiful environments to "free-roam" through where I found myself constantly getting distracted and exploring. There are a few ways you may choose to spend your time in Destiny. You can enjoy Story Missions, Strikes, Raids (currently only 1 available), or multiplayer - which I will get into later. The major content will only offer you rewards on a once per week basis. There are bounties to keep you occupied on a daily basis while you are waiting for the weekly reset however. Most of your time will be spent playing the same things over and over again hoping to get legendary weapons and gear. My advice is to get a group of friends, fire up a party chat, and just have fun. For a RPG/MMO, this game has a very terrible loot system. EVERYTHING is based on a RNG (Random Number Generator) when it comes to loot drops for weapons, armor, etc. This may seem okay and you may be wondering why i'm mentioning/complaining about it... well, the difficulty of your tasks do not correlate to the rewards you are given. For example, I can play Patrol (free-roam) for an hour and have the same chance at getting a legendary engram as doing a level 28 strike (high-level enemies and 1-2 bosses). Personally, I think the player should be rewarded for their efforts in the harder tasks... Bungie does not share that opinion. The multiplayer in this game is called the Crucible. There are a few varieties of TDM (Team Death Match) along with 2 objective-based modes.Unfortunately, the playlist is very restricted and the 2nd objective mode (Salvage) is not always available for play. I don't really understand why they felt the need to limit the game modes you can choose from I don't particularly enjoy this game's multiplayer. There are only a couple of maps, limited play modes, and the team balancing is terrible. If you have a group of friends to play with, you may really enjoy yourself though. The vast majority of the trophies in this game are simple and will simply take time. The trophies having to do with the Raid (currently on the Vault of Glass on Venus) will test your skills, patience, and luck. Completing the Raid on Hard (lvl 30) is going to take some good players and better strategy. You will be running the Raid many times before you will feel comfortable enough Platinum Difficulty: 9/10 Overall Enjoyment: 9/10 Big thanks to TDYWS! ChaoticDoomOfBob, daftprophet, lylababy, REDSHIRT64, and Rowdi1 ...and special thanks to TigreBoo and DaemonisNoctis Video of Platinum:
  13. Where's your picture?
  14. Does anyone have this game? Can anyone confirm if the servers are still online? I'd like to fire this up but, don't want to I stall an un-playable game Edit: After actually reading through the trophy list, you can earn all trophies in Single Player. The online Ranked Match feature is optional.
  15. This game has some pretty serious (and fairly well known) glitches that can essentially halt you from progressing any further. I, unfortunately, experienced both of these during my quest for the so I thought I would share some of my experiences to help you avoid the same. Glitch #1 - Missions (most likely) This glitch involves missions not unlocking. In other words, you get to a certain point in the game and upon completion of a mission, no other missions unlock This renders your current playthrough unfinishable and you must start over. At this point, you have 2 options: You can reload an earlier save and try again. You may get lucky enough to have it unlock... very doubtful though. You restart the story from the very beginning. Glitch #2 - New Game + This glitch involves New Game + not unlocking upon successful completion of the campaign. I believe this is closely related to the 1st glitch. Follow the solution provided there and you should have no problems. Unfortunately, if you experience this one, you will definitely have to start over from the beginning and try again. Solution First and foremost there is no magic and no tricks involved. If you experienced the glitch playing through the story for the 1st time and have just been enjoying yourself doing missions as they come up and grinding out the collectibles... the short answer is you are screwed and must start over. Sorry, that's the facts; fortunately you are not alone and the story is only about 6 hours long if you rush it. However, if you have been keeping save files after each mission, you may be in luck though See below. Second, you will want to be Save File happy (just to be absolutely sure). If you want to be over-the-top, create a New Save after every mission. Otherwise, just pay attention to the missions that pop up in game. Whenever you have a choice of 2 missions, make a New Save and leave it alone for the rest of the playthrough. You can then keep 1-2 "working saves" that you alternate between for all other missions. This way, if anything happens, you can resort back to these pivotal points in the story. I have done the below order/process successfully 2 times now... so I can verify that it works. My 1st playthrough I was not paying attention and just completing missions. Well, I ended up doing a Father Guerra mission before a Sabrina mission and never noticed that the S mission never came back up. On my 2nd attempt, I ended up playing missions I had not seen before on my 1st run. I found the issue lies with the order in which you complete the missions. The vast majority of the missions that come your way are one-at-a-time and you don't have to worry about it though... there are 5 instances where you will have to choose a mission throughout the story; they are noted in Blue below; the number is just the choice number that mission falls under (i.e. 1 = 1st time you have to choose): You may receive missions from any of the following characters: Father Luis Guerra - [G] Colonel Douglas Rooks - [R] Dr. Anton Koeng - [K] Sabrina Galloway - Dana Mercer - [M] Whenever you have a choice where Sabrina has a mission for you, do that mission before any others. The very 1st choice - during the Yellow Zone - you will want to do Colonel Rook's mission before Father Guerra's. Yellow Zone Missions Getting Started Escape Religious The Strong Survive Operation Fly Trap Blacknet Operation Orions Belt Brain Drain Project Long Shadow Feeding Time 1 [G] Salvation Lab Rat 1 [R] The Mad Scientist Orion Phase 2 Natural Selection The Air Bridge / Enemies and Allies Green Zone Missions A Stranger Among Us 2 A Nest of Vipers 3 The White Light 2-3 [G] Taking the castle A Maze of Blood Alpha Wolf Fall From Grace The Descent Red Zone Missions Buried From Memory Last Resort Fly in the Ointment 4 Operation Firehawk 5 Divine Intervention 4-5 [R] Lost in the System A Labor of Love Murder Your Maker I will recommend you play through on Easy first though. Hard mode is not difficult at all if you are on a New Game + (upgraded from a previous playthrough). It is noticeably more difficult if you are starting out on Hard. Well, I hope this helps somebody save a bunch of time as I ended up playing through the story 3-4 times. Good luck!
  16. Ever since I updated my Vita to the new 3.0 firmware I've been having trouble playing the game... Anyone else having this issue? I get locked into an infinite loop where it signs in to PSN and a message that I must be online to play. I tried turning on Airplane Mode and that doesn't help. I can't seem to play the game anymore
  17. This was always a complaint for me as well. If there is an option, disable it in game. Otherwise you could look for a large controller accessory. The Jak series was painful for me due to the back touch pad.
  18. Lovin' it!!! Thanks a million simula
  19. Ordered mine Can't wait to get them!
  20. Premium members do not see ads.
  21. You could start collecting payments I would think. You going to take money via PayPal?
  22. Count me in
  23. I can't believe it took this long to start incorporating ads, haha. You'll probably never completely avoid non-gaming ads, but the majority should be closely related. Based on the images posted above, they look nicely implemented. I hope they will generate a fair amount of supplemental income for the site
  24. I've been goofing around with the game on my Vita and thought I would start putting together some resources for navigating the world of Hohokum. These could end up being a valuable resource for people for getting around and even their speed runs. Feel free to post your custom maps, images, resources for the game
