I view the Metal Gear Pachinko machine as the culmination of everything Metal Gear.

@Venocide Read again, rating is about how much fun I had with games, I've spend about 500 hours in MG Survive and I can say its not even that bad as everyone says. Game is perfectly balanced, especially in co-op and ultimately fun, once you figure out base camp management and finish story mode, and those events Konami did in first year since game were amazing.

      Since game release*

Haven't played all of the games but for the ones I played I'd rate them as:

      1. Metal Gear Solid 1
      2. Metal Gear Solid 3
      3. Metal Gear Solid 2
      4. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes
      5. Metal Gear Solid 4
      6. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (Currently playing it so it might change my opinion)
      7. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker

4 could have been higher on my list if it wasn't for the fact I played it to get the trophies from the start. The game is fun but the grind for the platinum kinda sucks out the fun from the game a lot. I basically only had fun when doing the Big Boss Extreme playthrough and the ones that required some stealth since it's kinda what I expected from the game.

Peace Walker and Phantom Pain could also have been better in the fun department for me if it wasn't for the whole mother base and weapons development. Whenever I got a mission most of the time the hard part was having to use weaker weapons since I didn't have the requirements for the stronger weapons and that kinda sucked the fun out of the game. Peace Walker's vehicle battles, in particular, were particularly frustrating since my gear was too weak to beat them alone so I had to ask randoms for help but since the online was kinda dead when I played it was hard finding someone.
