I've been trying deGrom vs all 99 power vs righties, with numerous slider and difficulty changes with no luck... Just a ball through Lindor's wrist and in&out of Alonso's glove. Any recommendations from those who have it? This seems to be the toughest one to figure out.

I'm at a loss. I've tried for two days straight, and I haven't been able to complete the 6th challenge, the one where you are constantly losing health. Obviously killing the minotaurs by mashing gives you more health, yet I find myself overwhelmed at the seemingly endless amounts of enemies. Just when I think I've won and killed all the enemies, more spawn. I've even tried using a video tutorial, nothing is working.

0: Shadow of the Colossus PS4 Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection 1: Stray PS5 2: Donut County PS4 NA 3: Kena Bridge of Spirits PS5 4: Mirror's Edge Catalyst 5: FF VII Remastered (not Remake) 6: FF VIII Remastered 7: The Last Guardian Uncharted 2 Remastered 8: Scarlet Nexus PS5 Uncharted 1 Remastered 9: FF IX Remastered Uncharted 3 Remastered I am happy to report that I have finished FF8 to conclude my efforts for the event for a full badge! I wish my time with FF8 were more positive, but I did not like the experience much. The combat system was rather complex and punished you for using certain fundamental elements of it, which was boggling to me as a design choice. I didn't find the story all that enthralling either, just didn't captivate me in the same way as FF7 did on any element. But alas, it was so fun participating in this event again and seeing everyone's efforts progress!!! Congrats to those who have already finished and those who are in the home stretch!!

I now understand why the game is still so kindly regarded 25 years later. They were able to achieve a lot given the technical capabilities of the day, and it still holds up to this day. The characters are so charming, the story was excellent (except why did you offer zero closure at the end its one of my only gripes), and the combat system was complex but enjoyable once I had that lightbulb moment and figured it out. After years of intimidation, I am elated I enjoyed this game so much. So many twists and turns kept me interested throughout my frustrations of reading a walkthrough (oh the days of strategy guide games haha). On to FFVIII, my final game for the event!

0: Shadow of the Colossus PS4 Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection 1: Stray PS5 2: Donut County PS4 NA 3: Kena Bridge of Spirits PS5 4: Mirror's Edge Catalyst 5: FF VII Remastered (not Remake) 6: FF VIII Remastered 7: The Last Guardian Uncharted 2 Remastered 8: Scarlet Nexus PS5 Uncharted 1 Remastered 9: FF IX Remastered Uncharted 3 Remastered It's been a while since I updated the thread, and wanted to wait until completing the Uncharted remaster gauntlet! I must say that I forgot how much I loved these games, especially their stories. Part of the reason I changed my plan for this event to include them was to freshly compare them to Ratchet & Clank, which I used for a bulk of my progress in last year's event. While I had never played R&C prior to last year (apart from a demo and bits at a friend's house ages ago), it became my favorite series over Uncharted. This year, I was reminded of the fondness I had developed for the Uncharted series, and maintain its current #2 status behind R&C as a whole package in my personal ranking of game franchises. The visual fidelity of the Uncharted games in their remastered forms, ESPECIALLY the LoT collection on PS5, was something to behold. My love for this series is far too long winded to put here, but I digress. I now proceed to finish my badge with my first endeavor into the Final Fantasy series, which will eventually carry into a massive Kingdom Hearts playthrough. Needless to say, I am relatively booked for the upcoming future!

Everything about this game was just so frustrating. I was expecting it to be significantly better than the original game, but was sorely disappointed. This was at least easier than the first, but alas. Glad to be done with it. And you'll notice my plan has DRASTICALLY changed. This is due to a combination of factors I put in the spoiler box below for anyone interested. Nevertheless, on to the Uncharted series replays on modern hardware!

Wow did I love this game!! Not only was it such an homage to the PS2 era, but it was absolutely a Pixar movie but a game. So charming, beautifully animated, touching story, and fun gameplay. All of the puzzles felt manageable, and overall I really enjoyed the experience. Kena was a very special experience, and I am hopeful there is more to see from her in future games! Perhaps Ember Lab will be acquired by Sony for their talents in animation and cutscenes... time will tell! As for me, my next project will be Scarlet Nexus: the last PS5 game on my slate for the event! (Unless plans change)

Definitely glad I was able to access this through PS Plus. One of those games that are fun but probably never would want to pay for outright, especially with its brevity. Cute ideas at the very least, but not my personal favorite on execution. Not a bad time by any means though! Next up, Kena Bridge of Spirits, where I look forward to the PS2-era vibes the game gives off!

A cute little indie game in Donut County... and my first digital purchase since inFamous First Light (I'm staunchly physical only lol) but broke down for $4 rather than getting an expensive eBay copy of the limited print from iam8bit. Anyways, cute, short, sweet, trash panda. An adorable little story, and a fun silly time all around. On sale in the store for a few days more, and recommend it, albeit brief. Next up: Stray! Curious how I will like it as a dog person

Dropping my list here just a short while before the event kicks off. I say this now, but I shouldn't have any big changes to my plan, unlike last year (thanks AC Valhalla and the St. Faith glitch haha). Planning on a big backlog burn, including Final Fantasy plays to prep for a Kingdom Hearts binge... neither franchise I've touched before (apart from say at a friend's house briefly in the PS2 days). As such, my plan is: 0: Shadow of the Colossus PS4 1: Stray PS5 2: Donut County PS4 NA 3: Kena Bridge of Spirits PS5 4: Mirror's Edge Catalyst 5: FF VII Remastered (not Remake) 6: FF VIII Remastered 7: The Last Guardian 8: Scarlet Nexus PS5 9: FF IX Remastered Starting first with Donut County, because trash panda!!!

Late to the party, but just did the crossword myself. I wound up with: As for clues, I laughed and was disappointed at the same time with the clue for 26 down... 11 across had me thinking it was a specific game for way too long and was very mad at myself when I realized haha. And 22 down, I definitely only saw the incorrect correct-answer. Nice puzzle though!!!
