  1. yeah Master and Commander did not pop for me even though I have way in excess of its requirements Reading up it seems that you need to load the Extended Cut DLC and then replay from a save before the point of no return bit After putting in 40 hours to get to the end of the first playthru I was a little annoyed to find this glitch Hopefully I can get this work around to happen UPDATE: Loading that Extended DLC then restarting the Cerb HQ mission popped the trophy. So if you don't get M&C when you should then grab that free DLC and it should solve the issue
  2. Same as pack #6 with just one more trophy for £24.99 on the PS store Wonder if the new table is called Ratio Killing Rip Off
  3. cheese
  4. agree ppblast its not perfect but once you get a couple of hours in and get into the swing of the game its a very fine title indeed if you stop early then you miss out on a great title
  5. Would be nice if they dropped the price on all of these before the close date All of the Pinball titles are ratio killers with the constant stream of costly DLC and the rehash everytime a new console arrives Maybe they could do the decent thing and make all the old tables dirt cheap until the end of licence But they wont
  6. Apple Pie 3 or Cherry Pie 4 Both yum I love pie
  7. 1. Sleeping Dogs. Was uncertain if I would get on with this but as a fan of sandbox stuff I headed in. The storyline, the missions and the characters we all superb and I ended up buying it on PS3/4 and 360/One and maxed it each time. Just a fabulous game with some classic quips from street vendors. The DLC was poor though for me 2. Mafia II Having played the original on PC I was drawn into the sequel thinking it would be more of the same. But the change in era and the updated gameplay just makes this one of the best games ever. The haunting intro music is as good as it gets and you really feel for your character. Excellent missions with one that harks back to the original and made me smile. 3. Bioshock Infinite Loved the first and played it across the consoles. However found 2 a little bit meh and not a patch on the original so when Infinite was released I was not expecting anything special. I could not have been more wrong. It is for me the best game of all time (apart from Bombjack obviously!). When you add in the DLC which finish off the tale perfectly you have gaming nirvana. 4. Just Cause 1 & 2 (not started 3 yet but its in the backlog pile) Was intrigued by the new features of using a glorified lasso to hook onto everything and jump on to planes and cars and parachute down into areas. It just works and although in both games you find yourself having to put in the hours to get all the stuff done, it is always a pleasure to play. 5. Burnout Paradise The change of style from a crash based idea to a more racing style game lured me in. And for me it is the ultimate driving game. When they added the extra area via the DLC and you hit the ski jump thing for the first time, it generates a rush of pleasure that confirms why gaming is the best thing known to man
  8. Having played this last night and then having been made to play it thru again to get the plat (making me do that for the final trophy being as illogical as the game itself) I would have to agree with MMDE I really wanted to like it but even after two run throughs I am absolutely none the wiser as to what was going on. Just when I think I was getting it the story changed. It would have been brilliant if on the second playthru more flesh was put on its bare bones to help us formulate an idea of the tale. I think the devs tried to be too clever. Also the cinematic style closing credits which dragged on and on and on annoyed the (insert expletive) out of me, especially having to see them twice I liked Deadly Premonition a lot and sort of got that, but this game seems to be based on a story that was never quite finalised and then was interlinked with five other stories and then chopped up and assembled in a random order. So add me to the meh list rather than the like or loathe pile
  9. whatever version hits ps plus in 2020 by then I will finally have reached lvl60 in the definitive game
  10. Plat #100  Trivial Pursuit on the ps3

Decided on that one as the title of the plat is as understated as you can get!

@Honor_Hand that's a dope 100th plat to have. I would love to make Wipeout HD or 2048 a milestone. Im pretty sure Epic Dumpster Bear will be my 100th though. Maybe I can time one of the Wipeout plats as trophy 6k.

      On to the next milestone!

@Phil Lol Phil, thanks. If you already got the online done on any of the Wipeout games, you can try to time one of them for your 100th Plat. It'd be a pretty memorable Platinum to get to for a 100th milestone. Good luck man!

  14. When my main machine, my self boosting machine and my still brand new in box back up machines all die, no shops have any left and ebay has run dry of second hand ones, then I might think of stopping But not until then.
  15. nice work thanks mate
  16. you two really need to start playing more games
  17. In a move that seems to happen more and more now, the complete edition which supposedly includes everything, doesn't I just bought this game in the sale on PSN, and went for the complete version as I mistakenly thought that would be the complete version. However when I started the downloads to my PS4 it appears that if I want the Booster pack (which is probably the only part of DLC worth having) I need to cough up another £3.99 Complete editions and season passes really do need to start having a good read of the Trade Descriptions Act So if you are bagging this in the sale then get the basic game and the booster pack rather than the 'its all the extras but not really' pack
  18. great compo hope you manage to plat each one as that's a lot of extra prize giving if you fail! Best of luck matey and very generous idea
  19. I have made the mistake of choosing to play it through on the vita If you don't want to add a difficulty spike then use the ps3 or 4 variety getting there but the walkthrough video shows an ability to jump higher and further than it seems possible using the vita controls and that's making passing some parts maddening
  20. Was lucky enough to bag this trophy last night in a session on here For those of you who are going to do the sessions arranged over next couple of days I thought I would note a couple of pointers Even at this late stage there are still a few random folks playing mp on this title and so if you set up the session as public like we originally did, then you will most likely get someone join in who is not in a chrome skin So set it up as a private friends game (3 lap race obviously) and invite in the members from the session list. If you have more than 8 then get some sort of rota or queue When you get your invite the PS3 message box message will not take you to the game to join. You must press select on your controller while you are in in the online menu. This brings up a note to allow you to view invites and you can join from there Most importantly though is make sure you have selected your Chrome Skin when you select your ship Once finished the trophy should pop as the results page. I know all of this is very basic stuff but with only a few days till the server shutdown you don't have many attempts to get it right. Good luck
  21. This method worked a treat thanks matey Set up a race with myself on the vita Scraped down the walls until both of me were about 5 on the health and boom double kill (suicide) trophy bagged
  22. Thanks for this tip Took me a while to work out how to get it set up as, like the idiot I am, I kept making the games Friends Only and so they never showed up on the Vita. Easiest way is to set up a 12 race tournament and get the vita screen showing the cross play screen. As soon as the races are set up your game should appear on the vita. Select it and click join game Playing all 12 races nets you connected 1 and 2 and endurance. Once you are finished change the game type to Eliminator and ramp up the required score to win to 600. Then just keep destroying your vita self. Three matches will be more than enough for AG Assassin I played this game for about half an hour 8 years ago and now the server closures have brought me back to it and 2048 on vita.
  23. Everyone who took the time and effort to make a guide to help us get our trophy fixes deserves a lot of kudos I am going to nominate the Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time for the ps3 though. As I am trying to mop up old unplayed titles from my hoard guides like this one prove invaluable Its well laid out and is going to be a great source of help beating this old game Thanks to all the guide writers though, top stuff all of you
  24. I found the square block that is in the laser room with the balls with mirrors in worked for this and the XCox version Read about using the mirror balls but they just didn't work for me But the black square blocks did the job both times
  25. Found the rest of the game and trophies came naturally, but I cannot get this last one bagged. Any tips on best level to try it on?
