I noticed that my previous post received some commentary.

I had to contend with two family deaths within a fortnight (the recent one unexpectedly occurred this Friday evening). I'll address these responses, incendiary or not, after I mentally recover. 2023 has been an arduous year thus far.

I would like to make the ps4 port of the Tactics Ogre's PSP remake my 151st plat, although my first playthrough will not depend upon a guide of sorts. I want to enjoy the experience.

We'll see how I'll fare. As a veteran of the Shining Force games of the 1990s, I'm confident in my success.

Here's what I do not comprehend about unisex gym etiquette today:

In 2023, there has been a surge of viral videos where scantily clad women feel that men prey on them in their tiktok videos.

If you're bothered about men perving on your bums for 10 seconds, then wear the baggy female attire from the 90s and 00s eras. Not hard. I grew up in those decades.

I attend my local gym to prolong my life via fitness training, which is what most people in their 40s should strive to do.

If you don't want male attention, then don't wear bum huggers in public.

Am I wrong?

Catherine: Full Body: Plat #150

Took me a long time, but I finally got it.

I finished Obelisk with the two player method on Catherine: Full Body tonight.

I only need to complete Axis Mundi now.

On Catherine: Full Body, I finished two Babel stages on single player.

I'm getting closer to the plat trophy now.

All I need to do now is complete Catherine: Full Body's Babel mode to plat.

I'm not certain that online co-op will make it easier to complete, but there's no harm in trying.
 

My ps4's data was corrupted, so I had no choice but to completely reboot the console. I lost my progress on Catherine: Full Body.

Oh well.

However, I only have to complete Rapunzel & the Babel Stages (I can unlock all four by completing it on any difficulty), so it's not really catastrophic, trophy hunting wise.
 

I finished six playthroughs of Catherine: Full Body and acquired all gold trophies and endings without using a walkthrough throughout my experience. I only used a guide when I was only stumped by a few stages on Hard difficulty.

I want to wrap up Catherine as soon as possible, so I'm using a guide for Rapunzel's two modes. Afterwards, I'll co op with another player to finish Babel mode to plat the game.

Although I used a guide to complete stage 9-3, I managed to finish Hard difficulty on Catherine: Full Body's Classic mode. Not bad. I'm close to the complete acquisition of the gold trophies.

Catherine: Full Body is all right. I finished my first playthrough blind. I struggled to get the gold trophy for the last stage of the Katherine/Catherine route, unfortunately.

I finished Star Ocean 6: The Divine Force.

I actually thought the game was all right for a non-AAA title, although the finale was a lackluster experience. The AP system was awkward to use at first in combat mode (a currency system to utilise combat and magic techniques), but I got the hang of it eventually. Motoi Sakuraba's soundtrack never fails to disappoint, as usual. I've been a fan of his work since Shining the Holy Ark.

I'll plat the game, but not right now. A friend of mine bought me a copy of Catherine: Full Body. I've been meaning to give that a go for ages now.

Neph approves his early birthday gift of the Kirby remake. He won't force me into a care home in years to come, hahaha!

Unfortunately, I don't think there will be another Star Ocean game in the series. Despite its limited budget, 6 hasn't sold enough copies to save tri-Ace from insolvency.

Star Ocean should regress back to 2D graphics and sell potential sequels on Nintendo platforms - if Square Enix wish for the franchise to survive. Graphics aren't important. Make games within your means. 

Still, it's a much better game than the overbudgeted Forspoken.

It's somewhat sad because tri-Ace's current CEO wrote and programmed the first game in the Tales of series. Bloke's a genius, in my book.

The nephew is getting his copy of the recent Kirby remake as an early birthday present soon.

Sorry, I meant to say I was working on Star Ocean VI: The Divine Force in my last statement on Monday.

But yes, Star Ocean IV was a slog to plat.

It's been 8 years since I've platted Star Ocean 4. Wish me luck with its new iteration!

Tales of Symphonia Remastered AND Metroid Prime Remastered will arrive on the Nintendo Switch.

I already plat Symphonia 8 years ago (I think), but I am looking forward to playing it again like I did on the GC nearly a score ago now. Same goes for Prime. I'm getting old, haha.

Out of three choices, what would you lads and lasses recommend for my next plat venture: Catherine PS4, the new Star Ocean or Tactics Ogre: Reborn? Cheers!

Plat #149: Tales of Arise.

It's the best Tales of game I've played since Symphonia & Graces F.

I completed Tales of Arise blind.

Its gameplay is the best I've played from the Tales of series since Symphonia and Graces F.

Right, it's time to wrap up the sidequests and earn my plat.

I played this one back in 1987/88 as a little lad.

The remake of Yakuza: Isshin looks promising. I still need to get around to finishing the Fist of the North Star spin off of Yakuza, haha.
