I think we have our answer for weapon XP

The Lab just opened today with the Pistols at Dawn event, and it’s tremendously easy to get a lot of XP for the designated weapon (played three matches and received between 400 and 800 weapon XP per match without having to excel). Naturally, only time will tell, but I think when they inevitably do events featuring the Shield and Sentry Launcher, it’ll be very simple to max them out. This mode also seems good for levelling in general since matches are so rapid, although that will obviously also vary depending on whether they’re survival or death match type matches as well.

lets hope they are rotating all weapons in the LAB. This would be a fantastic way power through some levels.

I would kill for Assault Shields with unlimited ammo, that would be so much fun AND useful. Don't know what they could do for sentries though...

A high damage sentry match sounds super fun, to me! Maybe even increasing the amount you could place simultaneously!
