Popular Post OpenScars
A big update today Started: 55.23%Goal: 60.23% Current: 57.13% Demon's Souls Remake Loved this game. I've got it for the PS3 already, so I remembered bits and pieces of it. Looks incredible on the PS5 and I think a bit easier too. Massive thanks to @Helyx, as the 'go to' Souls advice and sneaky weapon drop. (I'd already done two playthroughs, so it's allowed ). Dirt 5 Got to thanks Codemasters for this free platinum! Really fun arcade racer, felt weird coming from Dirt 2.0! A bit panic induced as the time was closing in on the end of the free trial, but managed to get there... but the next day it was still free and playable? Either way, it's done! Hajwala Desert Erm... I read how awful it was, but for some unknown reason I still downloaded it (got it free). It was awful... in every way. I feel dirty. 100% MotoGP 14 Compact AND MotoGP 15 Compact Fun games for the 3 hours or so that it took to get each one. A nice stat boost too.

I'm thinking I'm going to focus more on an older game and also just try and do at least one dungeon run in Labyrinth of Refrain a day so I can chip away at that and also get some progress in an older game in the meantime. I'm thinking of going with Rune Factory since that and Labyrinth of Refrain are both good games to play in short bursts to chip away at the remaining trophies. But for now am making progress at getting back to positive.
Static_Rook
Update 14. 4/9/2021 Starting PCG 32.61% Previous Week 35.61% Current PCG 35.91% Goal = 50% Games played - The Walking Dead Season 1 (PS3) - Finally got the plat and 100% for this after 8 years in the backlog. Titan Attacks - I was looking for another quick game to boost up my PCG a little and found this. Another PS Plus game that I got one trophy in years ago and forgot about. It only took a few hours to get the 100% and it was a pretty fun Space Invaders clone. The trophies are mostly bronze so it didn't increase my completion too much, but I'm one game closer to 100 completed. Week 15 plans -I'm playing Bioshock and Dead Space 2 for the Spring Challenge and should get the Bioshock plat + 100% before next Friday. -Finish Limbo and Lapis x Labyrinth for the UR Challenge -Knock out another easy game or two.

Popular Post gladiatorrrrrrr
Skipped one update Monday due to Eastern so a two weeks update Ever since the announcement of the closure of the PS3 and PSVita stores I have been hoarding up physical games. At least the ones that I need to finish. Just to be sure that I can actually do them. Also I changed my plans in a way that I mainly concentrate first on any PS3/Vita games that have MP trophies Bioshock 2 + DLC (0/3) (PS3) Restarted this game and started by concentrating on the MP trophies. Joined a discord via a boosting session here and got all MP stuff of the base game done. A boring and tedious leveling up to rank 40 But met some great fellow trophy hunters. Finished my first run on easy and got most trophies out of the way. I am currently half-way on my hard run. After this I need to do the 2 SP DLC's and level up to 50 for finishing the 3rd DLC which is a MP focused one. I really love the game! If you never played it, buy the remastered for the PS4! Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars (PS3) As I stated above I am trying to do as many MP trophies from PS3 games now. This one is not so difficult; the game let's you achieve them even if you are alone in the online part! Which happens a lot as most gamers moved to the successor Rocket League. Sly Cooper ; Thieves in Time (PSVita) Restarted this as I got so frustrated by Riddled Corpses EX (still need to get that last trophy). Had some miscellaneous trophies left (amongst others collectibles ). Want to finish this before I jump into a MP containing Vita game next. Others Star Wars BF II + DLC (1/1) (PS4) - just playing the MP now and then, made some lvl progress The Division 2 + DLC (3/6) (PS4) - tried a raid but that was not a great success Riddled Corpses Ex (PSVita) - on hold Shinobodi 2 (PSVita) - on hold Current Status: Plans for next week: - Finish base game Bioshock 2 (PS3) and start/finish the DLC's - Work on MP trophies Battle Cars (PS3) - Finish Sly Cooper ; Thieves in Times (PSVita) - Start a MP game on PSVita Happy trophy hunting! I'll have to get a damn online pass just to get this... jesus, thank god they stopped with this online pass bullshit) Natural Doctrine - PS4 Resogun - PS4 Limbo - Vita Destruction All Stars - PS5 And update #4 is here: Starting completion rate (from the beginning of the year) : 49% Current completion rate : 53.08% (-0.03 from last week ~ +4.08% from start) Target rate: 60% What a crazy week this was, started new and old games and had small progresses on almost all of them This past week: Natural Doctrine - PS4 - 24% ATM, Started this one so it is the reason my complete % sinked, got a pal for the MP boosting and started SP, it is actually quite a hard game Resogun - PS4 - 36% ATM, Fired this one up just to remember the game and ended up getting almost 10 trophies I guess, this is the reason I only sinked 0.03 this week DJ Max Technika Tune - Vita - 81% ATM, got only to lvl73 this week as I didn't play this much... nevertheless I still got one more of the missing trophies on the path to Lv99 Sonic 2 - PS3 - 80% ATM, Tried to play this however I couldn't get into PSN on PS3 at all since friday night... God of War Ascension - PS3 - 65% ATM, Same as Sonic, I was trying to buy the MP pass to get the trophy for it but couldn't get PSN to work at all On my next list: Limbo - Vita (should have waited more to fire this one up and get a single trophy on it lol) Destruction All Stars - PS5 (will start this one soon cause I think servers will be quite empty soon) Flow - PS3 (only missing 3 trophies but I'll have to re-buy this game...) Finished up Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) for the 100% bracket challenge. Also did some fights in UFC 3, which was quite fun. Will keep at it with those. Overall not much gaming done this week. Currently working on: Going to start mopping up Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, but I have seemed to have hit a common glitch for the Weapon Nut trophy. Don't think I'll start Zombies so then it's over to the next COD title in my list being Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
Popular Post Spinacheq
Update #14 Another slow week in terms of progress towards my goal. I Completed one game and started a new one so the over all gain versus last was is a .04% (78.11% to 78.15%). I spent a large portion of my weekend upgrading my ps3 hard drive to an SSD and redownloading all the games and save files to the new one. It isn't a huge SSD just 500Gb, it will hold all the digital games I have and still has plenty of room for anymore I will buy before the fall of the store, also backing up my digital vita games to it as well. Drive Girls (Vita): Finally finished this game, it started out with a lot of potential and halfway through felt like they either ran out of budget or time to fully complete the game. The levels became very formulaic and repetitive. The enemies just became more hp and able to stun lock you place. The "multiplayer" area which can be done on ad0hoc solo was frustrating at first until right before the end when you get bug sticker collection (stickers are your armor upgrades essentially) and then you can just spam triangle your special attack that is unblockable and uninterruptable by the enemies and bam, even the super hard missions become 2 to 3 min spam one button fest. Like I said it had potential and I think it started out well, just didn't make it all the way to the end that way. Trails of Cold Steel III (PS4): Finally started this one, I had put it off until the 4th one was released in NA, and then kept putting it off as I love the story and the characters in this series and just didn't want it to end. Sounds silly I know, lots of people will argue that you can always go back and replay it to relive the fun, but to me you can only experience with fresh eyes once. Then you know what is going to happen and you don't get quite as much enjoyment from it, at least I don't. This game will probably take me awhile since I love to the first playthrough relatively blind and then clean up on the remaining things on the second hard mode playthrough with a guide. Popular Post Arophous
Going slower than I had imagined but had to play Little Nightmares due to an itch I got (got 100%) and start Dark Souls Remastered - got trilogy for birthday. The great news is a lot of my time has been based in Destiny 2, grinding out the collection and triumph DLC trophys, happy to say the last trophy is in sight with very little playtime needed, just a few weeks of repeating the same hour activity - such a great feeling to no all the actual challenging barriers for a trophy are done. Partly my fault - I decided the Splintered title in D2 would be my seal trophy from the current expansion. One of the toughest parts is solo content gated by level/weapons and ability - luck was on my side though and got it done in the 24 hour window I had this week and before end of season inevitably raises the bar again. Has been an epic ride but one made harder for us trophy hunters due to removed/ changed content. Hopefully be able to speed up some single player title trophys for next few weeks!

Nice, and grats on the Destiny 2 work. I need to clean up that game myself, just can't bring myself to do it after they implemented the season BS. I loved that they updated the trophies for the content they decided to vault, just pissed me off that they added the "season" crap to keep people who don't have a ton of time to play coming back as your end game progress will reset.
Llobster12
Update 5 April 13, 2021 Games started at beginning: 95 Games completed at beginning: 57 Platinum Trophies at beginning: 47 Current games started: 102 (+7 from start) Current games completed: 71 (+14 from start) Current Platinum Trophies: 57) (+9 from start) Completion percentage at beginning: 67.07% Completion percentage last update: 72.69% Current completion percentage: 73.99% (+1.30% from last update..... +6.92% total) Goal: 75% ---- (1.01% left to goal) Games since last update: Destruction Allstars (PS5) Still just one trophy left. I've tried to find games most every night for the last few weeks and most of the time I fail to find a game. This game is sadly already dead it seems. Strangely, although I live in the US and have been on the US Central server since the game began, for some reason the game now has me on the Europe server and won't let me change it. This also coincides with the last few weeks of not being able to get into a match. Dungeon Defenders II (PS4) I played this about three years ago and got one trophy. On a whim these last few weeks I redownloaded it and cleared this out 100%. I figured I should get it done since it's an online only game and didn't want to find out one day that the servers are shut down and it's forever stuck as a 1% game on my profile. It really didn't take very long (10ish hours) and stayed enjoyable for those 10 hours. I played the first dungeon defenders a ton on steam years and years ago and think the original is better, but this one is still fun. It's not hard either so I'm not sure why the 100% completion rate is so low. (about 4.21% as I write this). Dirt 5 (PS5) After saying last update that this one would be on the back burner as I couldn't get into it enough to make it the main game I'm playing, I actually really got into the swing of things and completed the platinum, then purchased and completed the two DLC's that were released. I think that the difference was that I quit trying to control the game as if it were Mario Kart (which is how I approach most racing games... which is probably why I'm so bad at most of them). I acknowledged that the button to brake existed and started using it. After that things were quite a bit smoother! Who knew!? Spirit of the North (PS5) Started and completed the platinum for this one. It's short and sweet and fun while it lasts. The soundtrack is fantastic and fit the game perfectly. Up next: - I'll probably continue trying to get into games of Destruction Allstars just for the sake of trying.... but at this point I've pretty much given up hope. - I started Godfall this week and will probably focus mainly on that for a while. I'm enjoying myself so far. The story is pretty "meh" so far, but I do enjoy the gameplay so far. Also, I wanted to ask some opinions. I'm looking back through my previously started backlog and thinking about going for one of my more difficult games that I only have a few trophies in. The games I'm considering are: Jamestown+ Downwell Titan Souls Hyper Void Tiny Troopers Joint Ops Resogun Of those does anyone have any thoughts which one might be the most doable? Also, are the DLC's for Resogun as difficult as the completion percentage suggests, or is it just low because not many people got the DLC's? Any input would be greatly appreciated. I won't start it for a while - probably a few months until I've cleared other stuff off my plate and I'm ready to dive in, but I just was started to plan ahead. Thanks in advance! Happy trophy hunting everyone! Edited April 14, 2021 by Llobster12
Hisuiryu
@Llobster12 From your list, the only one I've 100% done is Titan Souls - as long as your willing to save scum it (backup data and reload it if you die) it's not too bad, but you need a lot of patience and practice for some parts. It's a fun challenge though. Downwell I've found it much more frustrating as it feels heavily RNG (with the different powerups, you need the stars to align or you'll have a bad time). This one seems to vary a lot on how tough people find it though, there's plenty of people that manage to clear it quickly once they get the hang of it. As for Resogun - Some of them are genuinely hard, I struggled with Protector mode one because you've got to survive and progress a fair while to destroy 10... though when I actually succeeded it felt easy, so really you just need practice and a good run I guess. Commando Mode is really difficult, partly because it's quite different from the rest of the game modes so you don't get practice for it while trying other stuff. I still haven't finished it personally (though I've gotten to the last wave a couple of times in the past), so I can't say much else about it. Most of the other DLC stuff is just grindy, or takes a bit of practice but it's too bad. The local co-op might be an issue depending on your situation too.

Popular Post Static_Rook
Update 15. 4/16/2021 Starting PCG 32.61% Previous Week 35.91% Current PCG 36.18% Goal = 50% Had kind of a weird week. Got my second vaccine dose last weekend and that knocked me out for a couple days. Then I didn't feel like playing anything that I had planned so I jumped around and ended up playing a little bit of 8 different games. I got a couple more trophies in Snowrunner to get that to 61% done. I really only need a good session or three to finish off the last bunch of in-game tasks and get the plat. Maybe this week if my gaming ADD calms down. I boosted the one multiplayer trophy in XCOM Enemy Unknown so I'll be able to get the plat whenever I eventually feel like tackling that game. I'll probably use it in my next tier of Ultra Rare games (if I ever actually finish my first tier). Most of my gaming time was spent improving my completion %s in some older fighting games. I got Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate (PS3) and DOA5 Last Round (PS4) both from under 20% up to 84% pretty easily. I fired up Mortal Kombat X again after getting the XL version for $6 in the Spring sale. I'm only aiming to get it to 50% and there are enough easy-ish trophies left to get there. I also did some self-boosting between the Vita and PS3 versions of Street Fighter x Tekken. I should be able to get most of the trophies on Vita (except for the Ad Hoc one), but the requirements for the PS3 trophies are way too high so that one's gonna stay at low % for a while. And lastly, I put some time into Puyo Puyo Champions. Not a fighting game, but it does have an online ranked mode that I'll probably never touch. Luckily most of the trophies can be done offline. I'm not planning on getting (or can't get) the plat in any of these games, just grabbing what trophies I can and bumping up those completion rates. My one new game was SaGa Frontier Remaster. I knew it would drop my overall completion, but I loved the original so getting this day one was a no-brainer for me. The trophy list doesn't seem that difficult though so this shouldn't be a negative on my % for too long. Week 16 plans Seems like I never really stick to anything I write here, but I did actually start Bioshock on PS3 last night. I got past Steinman, which is where I stopped all those years ago, so I'll start unlocking trophies today. I'm playing on the 1.00 disc version so I'm going for the 1 playthrough method just to get it done faster. I've already beaten the game on XBox and PC so this is purely a "get it out of my backlog and gimmee the trophies" run. Other than that, I won't plan on anything else. I'll just keep jumping around and see what game(s) grab me. Not sure if my fighting game kick will stick around, but I've got plenty sitting at 1-10% complete that I could work on. Plus Guilty Gear Xrd Sign which I've been neglecting. We'll see. Have a good week!
Llobster12
On 4/14/2021 at 3:05 AM, Hisuiryu said: @Llobster12 From your list, the only one I've 100% done is Titan Souls - as long as your willing to save scum it (backup data and reload it if you die) it's not too bad, but you need a lot of patience and practice for some parts. Thanks so much for taking the time give me some info, that really helps!

Felt a bit burnt out on Wolfenstein, so decided to return to Kingdom Hearts 3, to finish off the last few DLC trophies I was missing- Managed to beat Yozora (Not going to lie, I ended up using the Ariel cheese strategy for him), and also did the EZ merit's. This week I'll be trying to do the Risk taker trophy. I'm probably going to do KH: Melody of Memory next.
Popular Post Gumby114
Mid month update - not bad progress this month. Assassin Creed Valhalla Still plugging away at the story and collectables. I did earn a few miscellaneous trophies which was great - I have caught all the fish (thank god it wasn't so bad because I caught a fish or two at every river or port I was at). I am going to try over design 2 this week - I have read its a bit of a poop to get. I will also continue the story as well. Lego Harry Potter - Year 1-4 Finally I have finished this game. I had to replay the game after encountering the clock tower glitch 5 years ago.... I hate that game more than I should but happy to have all Lego games I have played at 100% Tomb Raider I encountered yet another game breaking glitch - The elevator gears at the end of the game did work properly and I deleted my save out of frustration (I believe it is now fixed but deleted my save) So I am going to work on that for the rest of this month as well. Happy trophy hunting crew! Edited April 18, 2021 by Gumby114
Popular Post gladiatorrrrrrr
My Monday update Slow progress due some issues with Bioshock.... Bioshock 2 + DLC (1/3) (PS3) When I was almost at the end of my Hard run the game glitched in a way that I couldn't load my safe game anymore ?. Nothing worked and I just had to start from scratch again. Although the game is not that hard it is just a waste of valuable game time. Nevertheless, I obtained the . Finished the DLC Minvera's Den and boosted myself to lvl 42 (still 8 levels to go!). I am getting there! Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars (PS3) Playing some online ranked matches now and then to obtain the last two MP trophies Sly Cooper ; Thieves in Time (PSVita) Doing some collectible runs, made less progress than I wanted due to the Bioshock mayhem. Others Star Wars BF II + DLC (1/1) (PS4) - just playing the MP now and then, made some lvl progress Current Status: Plans for next week: - Finish Protector Trials of Bioshock 2 and hopefully the leveled up to 50 - Work on MP trophies Battle Cars (PS3) - Finish Sly Cooper ; Thieves in Times (PSVita) - Thinking of starting a new game Happy trophy hunting! Popular Post Pauloxzak
On 12/04/2021 at 9:40 AM, Pauloxzak said: And update #4 is here: Starting completion rate (from the beginning of the year) : 49% Current completion rate : 53.08% (-0.03 from last week ~ +4.08% from start) Target rate: 60% What a crazy week this was, started new and old games and had small progresses on almost all of them This past week: Natural Doctrine - PS4 - 24% ATM, Started this one so it is the reason my complete % sinked, got a pal for the MP boosting and started SP, it is actually quite a hard game Resogun - PS4 - 36% ATM, Fired this one up just to remember the game and ended up getting almost 10 trophies I guess, this is the reason I only sinked 0.03 this week DJ Max Technika Tune - Vita - 81% ATM, got only to lvl73 this week as I didn't play this much... nevertheless I still got one more of the missing trophies on the path to Lv99 Sonic 2 - PS3 - 80% ATM, Tried to play this however I couldn't get into PSN on PS3 at all since friday night... God of War Ascension - PS3 - 65% ATM, Same as Sonic, I was trying to buy the MP pass to get the trophy for it but couldn't get PSN to work at all On my next list: Limbo - Vita (should have waited more to fire this one up and get a single trophy on it lol) Destruction All Stars - PS5 (will start this one soon cause I think servers will be quite empty soon) Flow - PS3 (only missing 3 trophies but I'll have to re-buy this game...) And this is update #5: Starting completion rate (from the beginning of the year) : 49% Current completion rate : 53.13% (+0.05 from last week ~ +4.13% from start) Target rate: 60% This week has been a roller coaster of news and emotions... First thing I discovered that I couldn't get into PSN on my PS3 cause my wifi/bluetooth board fried (seems to be something common with slims) and now my PS3 works wired only even for controllers, then I got into GOW Ascension thinking it would be a fast plat but from the half onwards I'm progressing slowly (playing on hard due to a trophy) and also at Flow I couldn't get any of the 3 missing trophies, those games literally enraged me and also got the news that my health is kinda bad ATM so this combination left me really down and the week was about to end with no real progress. I thought about it and realized that I was pressuring myself about the trophy completion instead of having fun and taking my time, it is something that happened before, and so my whole perspective changed. Then I updated FFXIV for PS5 and the game has a whole new trophy list! My rate went to the ground and them it auto popped a bunch of stuff that I already did and I was back at exactly my 53.08%! and then I got a pal for boosting the persona fighting games and I was able to go over my last rate, what a week lol This past week: Natural Doctrine - PS4 - 24% ATM, Couldn't touch this at all, really want to at least wrap up the MP trophies soon, since it was a PS3/Vita/PS4 cross game I fear the MP will be closed soon Resogun - PS4 - 36% ATM, Been training this one and getting better to go for the harder trophies FFXIV - PS5 - 51% ATM, Will not rush this one specially cause there are some trophies that will take A LOT of time, however there are many others that will pop soon cause I already completed the pre-requisites however you have to kinda force pop them (like completing a quest so the game checks and pops story related trophies) DJ Max Technika Tune - Vita - 81% ATM, Lvl76 and pushing Sonic 2 - PS3 - 80% ATM, Didn't touch this also but I'll be back soon God of War Ascension - PS3 - 68% ATM, MP is out of the way and I'm halfway through the campaing, all missing trophies are from this point forward Persona 4 Arena - PS3 - 10% ATM, MP will not take much I guess On my next list: Limbo - Vita (should have waited more to fire this one up and get a single trophy on it lol) Destruction All Stars - PS5 (will start this one soon cause I think servers will be quite empty soon) Persona 4 Arena Ultimax - PS3 (will boost the MP trophies after Arena) Rochard - PS3 Pillars of Eternity - PS4
Spinacheq
Week 15 update This is another loss week for me. I went from 78.15% in week 14 to 77.71%. I made a little more progress on trophies for Cold steel 3, and I also started a new game, Civ 6. Trails of Cold Steel 3 (PS4): I made more progress on this game, this one is going to be a slow start on the trophies until I get closer to completing my first playthrough as a lot are tied to forging bonds with team mates, which can't happen until close to the end of a playthrough and of course to different things you do in battle. I.e. getting advantage or rush attacks. Plus I love the story of this series so I am taking my time and giving it my full focus. Civilization 6 (PS4): I got weak and started this game since I enjoy it on the PC and it was on sale. Unfortunately it added 98 trophies to my unearned list lol. I have made decent progress on getting through the trophies for the platinum, and a few for the free DLCs. I still have the other DLCs all 9 of the 11 you have to pay for. Luckily they are also on sale and grouped in packs so I can get a few at a time. What I find nice about this game is I can easily play it will working since I can just put it down and save at anytime. Which means if I have 30 mins to kill while waiting on something for work I can pick it up and play a bit.
