I will start doing bi-weekly updates instead of weekly from now on. AC III + DLC (0/4) (PS3) Restarted this game after almost 8 years ?. The whole 'we are going to close the PS3/Vita shop' made me buy all the DLC so I better get this done now. I am trying first to complete the main missions. Then the MP and will after that concentrate on the collectibles mixed with the SP DLC. Actually a pretty okay game so far. I have played it 'on the go' on my Switch so I don't waste any time on cut scenes. The AI is a bit ...well...interesting? Sometimes they totally oversee you (while standing in front of them) and sometimes they spot you without having a line of sight. Very confusing....big game and a long way to go to the 100% mark. Popular Post gruffiiti Posted May 31, 2021 Popular Post Share Posted May 31, 2021 Monday update Had a pretty good week. No completions but a good amount of progress in the games I have been playing. I had set a side goal for myself to get my completion back to my Feb high by the end of the month and only fell 0.05% short. I'm pretty happy with that. I expect completion may drop slightly in the next few weeks as I will be starting new games for the Gaming by Numbers event but if all goes well we shall still see a positive increase by the end of June. Children of Morta This game consumed most of my free time this week as I am enjoying it a lot. I hadn't really looked at the trophy guide on this until recently and saw it is listed with a 15 hour completion time. I have over 25 hours into this game so far and Id guess I am about 2/3 of the way through. Id be happy to sink another 25 hours into it as well before I'm done as IMO Children of Morta is an excellent rogue-like and a real hidden-gem. Lonely Mountains: Downhill Spent a few hours this week just unlocking all the mountains/trails and most of the remaining resting places I hadn't discovered yet. Also completed nearly all the beginner challenges as well without trying as they were fairly easy. A few left to do that require a bit more practice and exploring to find shortcuts. Then its on to the expert challenges and the night rides. Really having fun with this game as well especially because its so easy to play in short bursts. I started Mass Effect 2 and realized two full playthroughs of the first game got me semi-burnt out and wanted something a little different. So I went back to some old games and played a bit of several things. I didnt make significant progress in anything besides Ni No Kuni 2. Plans for Upcoming Week: The Gaming by Numbers Event officially starts tomorrow. This means I can progress on the games I picked out for that and not feel guilty. I'll probably work on Va-11 Hall-A since it's short and keep up Ni No Kuni 2 while I have some momentum on it. be_minor Posted May 31, 2021 Share Posted May 31, 2021 May Update Haven’t made a monthly update since the end of March, so this has been long overdue. Since April 1st, I’ve started and completed a handful of EZPZ games, finished a couple of outstanding games that’ve been in my backlog for years, added some games I plan to complete before the end of summer, and earned miscellaneous trophies in a few of my long-term games. Some of the stand-out games I’ve played recently: Dragon Age II, Ni No Kuni, Rad, Overcooked 2, and Mass Effect. Although my goal is ultimately to increase my overall completion percentage, I realize I’m much more responsive to a game when I start it with the intention of having fun instead of completing it. I’m hoping to offset adding new games I won’t be able to complete by finishing most of the ones I’ve already started. Popular Post Spinacheq Posted June 1, 2021 Popular Post Share Posted June 1, 2021 (edited) Week 21 Update: This a day late for me, as I considered the Memorial Day as part of my long weekend and part of the week before, since it was also the end of the month. As for progress this is my second worst week for actual % increase. I ended at 79.36% up from 79.30%, yep that is right a whole .06% increase. Not my best week for gaming time as the start of the week went all to work, long days and some of it going into the evenings. I like that US is opening up again, I hate that all my companies customers now want all there projects to be rushed to completion even though as a software company we never stopped working, just stopped meeting them face to face... oh well. I did spend my long weekend trying to finish Trails of Cold Steel 3... which as you can all tell from the numbers below didn't happen. I could have done it if I had blatantly skipped all the cutscenes, grabbed a guide, and didn't care about the game... so yeah I under estimated how much I had left. I completed my undergraduate on May 2nd. There was still a month left of getting my kids to finish out the school year, which they did remotely this year. Also a lot of jobhunting and interviews. Oh and we were approved for this awesome veteran housing program and the time from getting notice we were accepted to getting keys in hand was a week. We moved in last Friday. Paid movers to take one truck full of the mostly heavy stuff and did the rest ourselves. We moved a whole 4 bed house in two days. My body is getting over most of the soreness now. It is done now though and everything is hooked back up and ready to go. Next on my list, I'm planning to begin the PS5 version of FF7R on Thursday, or more likely Friday, given how large I expect the download to be. I'm kind of hoping the plat doesn't autop pop from a save transfer, I qill quite happily play through it again. If it does auto pop, I think I'll probably do a normal mode playhtrough, then save transfer, so I don't need to mess about with some of the more obnxosious trophies (Looking at you here pull up challenge). Managed to get my hands on a copy of the Ultimate edition of Fallout New Vegas this week, so I have plans to do that at some point this year (Have the platinum, the DLC has always been a bit too expensive for my liking however). Popular Post based_gigachad Posted June 7, 2021 Popular Post Share Posted June 7, 2021 Starting Percent: 55.33% Last Update: 63.40% Current Percent: 63.55% Started Maneater during the week, didn't play every night and ended up knocking most of it out Friday evening after work, before cleaning everything up on Saturday. It's a bit silly, and not too much 'depth' to the gameplay loop, but as it doesn't take itself very seriously, it's enjoyable enough to swim around eating stuff and the collectables aren't a pain at all. So that was a fun and straightforward platinum. I planned to start the PS5 edition on Sunday, but I had my second vaccination on Saturday and did not feel well yesterday, had a bad headache so didn't feel up to sitting down in front of the Playstation for a few hours but I will get started on that this week. If I finish that this week, I plan to start Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered on the NA region stack. Children of Morta Finally beat this game on the weekend. I wish the end boss OU was harder to beat as I knocked him off first try without ever losing much health. There were also a couple trophies for playing couch co-op left to get so I had my 9 year old daughter help me. I thought for sure I would have to revive her a bunch of times and get the "I won't let you die" trophy without thinking but she was destroying everything (even when I sat back and barely did anything). I had to ask her to let herself get killed, but she refused and replied "I don't want to kill my person". In the end I told her she could go get chips for a snack as we started another dungeon. She left to get them and I lured baddies in to knock her player out 5x to get the trophy. Total time spent was 50hrs on this game and would love to play more like it. Metropolis: Lux Obscura Pulled out the VITA last night for the first time in ages. Waited forever for it to charge and then loaded up Metropolis: Lux Obscura to play for the Gaming by Numbers event. Completed the tutorial mission but didn't have the energy to keep going. Ended up falling asleep on the couch watching TV instead. I thought I would be able to get lots of trophies this week due to an extended holiday we had, but not much playtime in the end, also spent some time doing delid on my old fat ps3 in hopes to fix its YLOD so I could boost myself in some games (specially FC2), delid went fine but no luck fixing ylod This past week: FFXIV - PS5 - 73% ATM, Almost done with retroactive quests done, then I'll start farming the numbers for the missing ones Natural Doctrine - PS4 - 46% ATM, No progress here Resogun - PS4 - - 63% ATM, Got the plat! now I gotta grab the DLCs to finish this up Muramasa Rebirth - Vita - 21% ATM - No progress here Limbo - Vita - 4% ATM - No progress here Desert Ashes - Vita - 72% ATM - No progress here Sonic 2 - PS3 - 85% ATM, No progress here Persona 4 Arena - PS3 - 24% ATM, No progress here Far Cry 2 - PS3 - 12% ATM, so servers are not dead, I'll try to boost the rest of the MP trophies, also started single player On my next list: Escape Plan - Vita Destruction All Stars - PS5 Genshin Impact - PS5 Persona 4 Arena Ultimax - PS3 (will boost the MP trophies after Arena) Rochard - PS3 Beyond: Two Souls - PS3 Pillars of the Earth - PS4 5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Oh I can guarantee she will be a better gamer than me sooner than later. I watch her play games like Geometry Dash on the ipad or iphone and complete levels already that I could never do. Since I contributed last Monday to the week before due to it being a holiday and yeah just felt like it. I also had to cram all my work week into 3 days instead of 4 since I took friday off as I was out of town to visit my father and step mother who did a road trip across the country to visit from south carolina. So I got almost no gaming done hehe. I did repick up Darksiders (PS3) to clean it up as it fits into 2 other events I am also doing, but only managed to grab 2 easy trophies thus my last week went from 79.36% to 79.38% woot a whole .02% lol. Darksiders (PS3): Repicked this up, got a trophy for throwing a vehicle at a helicopter in the intro-level that I missed when I started this game back in 2010. I also got the ride a 100 miles on your horse one which is just a grindy trophy that basically means a rubberband on your controller while you work lol (that is what I did). Since I have this game for listed on another event and I am planning on using it for gaming by numbers I am hoping to make some serious progress on it this week if not finishing it completely this week. Trails of Cold Steel 3 (PS4): Made a little more story progress, and got a few more "social links" primed for the end when I spend time with them and unlock the trophy for them that maxes out their favorability. 14 of the 51 trophies of this game is for the 14 party members maxed out favorability lol. Still want this as my 75th plat so it will see a bit less game time this week as Darksiders will become number 74, at least that is the plan.
