Popular Post I-Reaped-U
Once I realized last month was quickly coming to an end, it motivated me to get the feathers again for the Assassin's Creed 2 Remastered done. Glad it's done. Don't have much to say about any of the other games except the one I'm happy about the most is RDR2. I only have 2 more easy things to do for the 100% trophy and then it's just up to me getting 70 Gold missions. Hoping to get those missions done by the end of the year. Not in any particular rush except to make it platinum #100 and I'm at 94 right now. based_gigachad
Starting Percent: 55.33% Previous Update: 63.92% Current Percent: 64.08%Wreckfest Finished off the last couple of online races I needed to win and unlocked the platinum trophy. Destruction Allstars I had been in a boosting group for this some months ago which I quit as I essentially lost all motivation to try and grind for this game, but with the recent update, it made it much more boost friendly by allowing groups of players to queue in parties for solo game modes, up to a maximum of four per party. But due to the low player count, and the amount of people we had in the group last week, we made some solid progress, most of us knocking out the 2 most difficult trophies to earn legitimately. I personally earned the character trophies for Ratu, Fuego, Boxtop, Hanna, Muna, Sgt. Rescue and Xander so far, several of these being nice and ultra-rare! The only character trophies left that I require are Harmony, Twinkle Riot and Angelo so maybe we'll see if we manage to get the group together again next week. Abzu Had this as one of my games for the Summer Backlog Challenge as we got it for free earlier in the year and the look of it intrigued me, along with the fact it was meant to be relatively straightforward. And wow, I'm glad I did get round to it eventually, it's an absolutely gorgeous game with great soundtrack and variance between levels. It doesn't explicitly tell you anything at all really, so even though it's very linear, it does feel exciting to make progress whilst all the time there is a slight air of mystery as to what's going on. My first playthrough I just did naturally without referencing any guide just so I could experience it properly, then afterwards went back with chapter select and a video guide to hunt the collectables I'd missed. Thoroughly recommend giving it a try if it's sitting untouched in your library!

Popular Post gruffiiti
Monday update After a chaotic and busy July with holidays and plenty of weekend camping, August is starting to shape up with more normalcy for me. Hopefully this translates into more gaming time and more games being completed. I plan on playing Sherlock Holmes: Devils Daughter this week and maybe start on Blacksad. May even pickup Hades this weekend with all the rest of you.. Black the Fall This was a fairly short puzzle-platformer game and for the couple dollars I spent on it I had fun with it. None of the puzzles are hard but it had me thinking a few times. Its worth a play if you enjoyed games like Limbo or Inside. Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments I decided this past week I felt like playing Sherlock Holmes: Devils Daughter but also wanted to have Crimes and Punishments in my list as well so I started with that one. I have done this game before on a previous account so I was fairly familiar with it. Looking forward to a new experience though with Devils Daughter next. Lonely Mountains: Downhill Beat a few more challenges this week while playing with my daughter. We had a lot of fun trying to find shortcuts and make each checkpoint without crashing. Im pretty sure we crashed hundreds of times but in the end gained some new PBs (Personal Bests) by shattering the old records. Still plenty to do and plenty more fun to be had with this game. Cuphead Managed to beat a few more bosses in this game and have now made it to Inkwell Isle II and a whole new set of bosses to figure out. The game is pretty fun yet frustrating at the same time so I play it in bits. I'm not sure how I will do when I unlock Expert mode but will worry about that when I get there. haha Stats Starting = 81.18% - Starting Platinums = 69 Current Gain = 5.31% - Current Platinums = 103 Jan = 82.41% (+1.23%) - Jan Platinums = (+1) Feb = 84.43% (+2.02%) - Feb Platinums = (+8) Mar = 84.07% (-0.36%) - Mar Platinums = (+4) Apr = 82.67% (-1.40%) - Apr Platinums = (+3) May = 84.38% (+1.71%) - May Platinums = (+6) Jun = 85.08% (+0.70%) - Jun Platinums = (+3) Jul = 86.22% (+1.14%) - Jul Platinums = (+7) Aug = 86.49% (+0.27%) - Aug Platinums = (+2)
Popular Post Spacey_Dweeb
Weekly Update: The new puppy was much less of a distraction factor this week. She's settling in to the routines of my home and I was able to relax and enjoy my game time and spend plenty of time with the puppy as well. So it was a pretty normal week. I had some good and some bad for my completion average. I finished the Olympic Games: Tokyo 2020 platinum. Then I started up A Plague's Tale: Innocence. I've owned it for a long time and really wanted to make time for it. I played on PS5, and auto-popped PS4 at the end of each game session. So I got three platinums this week. I got all the way up to 71.80% but then I started Scarlet Nexus and it dropped my percentage back down again. Olympic Games: Tokyo 2020 - I finished the platinum this week. This game was pretty decent since I had fairly low expectations. Most things are super basic and easy so even a little kid could play it. There was a small amount of grinding, but not bad. You had to unlock all tips in the game, and to do that you had to play each of the specific events about 5 times. When there's 20ish events it kind of adds up to be a decent chunk of time, but it does not overstay it's welcome. Marvel's Avengers - I knocked out a couple trophies this week. One day, I did the five Harm challenges. The HARM room is like the holodeck on Star Trek or the Battle Room in the X-Men cartoon. It's like where the heroes can have practice battles with augmented reality or something. I was getting close to getting both factions to level 25, so I did a few faction missions and got that trophy too. I think the next thing I will pop is the trophy for doing 15 villain sectors. It looks like you can only get two assigned per day. I've done about 10 so far, so I should have that one in the next few days. VA-11 Hall-A - I didn't get the platinum like I was thinking, but I finished my playthrough and knocked out a bunch of miscellaneous trophies. I have just a few trophies left but they will need a full playthrough to unlock. Now that I have heard the whole story, I plan to follow a guide and skip and all dialogue, so it should just need a couple more hours and then it's done. A Plague Tale: Innocence - I started this one up and played all the way through it this week. I got the platinum for both ps4 and ps5. The game is very good. My only complaint is the don't explain very much of the WHY behind the circumstances of the game. However, the story and gameplay mechanics are very well done. It's not quite AAA in quality, but its very pretty. There's just small things like clipping of models and the NPCs are kind of stiff and follow clear pathing with abrupt turns etc. Anyway, I highly recommend to anyone. If you're on the fence, play it. Scarlet Nexus - I actually bought this day 1 for my daughter since she asked for it. However, she's completely ignored it and keeps playing Genshin Impact. I finally decided to crack it open myself and see what it's all about. I really liked the cover art, but had no idea what I'd be playing. I've only played about three hours, but my early impressions are really good. It reminds me of a good JRPG but its got a futuristic and not a fantasy setting. Plans for Upcoming Week: I'm going camping this weekend. I think I'll spend some of my nights in the tent working on my Vita games. Before I go camping, I'm revisiting Uncharted 1 and doing the playthrough on Brutal. So my goal is 100%s for three games this week. Starting Completion: 68.51% Last Week's Completion: 71.31% Current Completion: 71.50%2021 Completion Goal: 80.00%
Popular Post lu_keh212
Its been a long time since I did an update, I have still been playing my fair share of games I just struggle with the regular updates. Had a pretty gradual increase in the completion percentage over the year but my tendency to start a new game just as I am getting towards the end of another keeps my percentage just below what I am aiming for. Starting percentage = 73.04% Current percentage = 78.40% Games worked on: COD WW2 COD Cold war ABZU Control Final fantasy 7 intergrade Outriders: this game is la mixture of destiny and gears of war, but in my opinion skips out on all the good bits from both. the Loot system feels lackluster and the game play just feels like a rinse and repeat of the same scenarios over and over again. mix that in with having to speak to an NPC to travel between areas every mission and the end game grind wore me down, i may go back and do the final side missions but i don't think i will grind the final accolade level out. Wreckfest: Really enjoyed the different aspect of racing in this game, having the option to wreck/ get wrecked by opponents during online races really changes the way you would play a racing game. The 20 online wins trophy was taking too long though as I kept getting wrecked when I was on for a win, so I ended up boosting this. Crash bandicoot trilogy I have currently only played the first game in the trilogy and the plat is potentially out of my reach, I’m currently sitting at needing 5 more relics and about 2 more gems. I think that the reworking of the way crash controls has made some levels particularly hard (looking at you high road), hopefully 2 and 3 are a bit easier.

JRushton09
Update 8: 15th August Starting Completion Percentage: 73.78% Previous Update Completion Percentage: 81.24% Current Completion Percentage: 81.76% (+7.98% from start) (+0.52% from last update) July and the start of august has been relatively slow for me, for one simple reason - Red Dead 2. I had to self isolate for the last week of July and my friend had just started played Red Dead Online, so I saw it as the perfect opportunity to finally get back to finishing this masterpiece off. This week allowed me to finish the online portion of the trophies and complete everything in the single player but the challenges and the zoologist/skin deep trophies. Once the 100% game completion was earned i just had to reload an old save to work on errand boy. Other than that i have managed to tick off a few more trophies from a random assortment of games and earn the platinum in FIFA 21 (PS4). My main focus at the minute is on Black Ops 4 as the majority of miscellaneous zombies trophies have been completed, once I have got the EE's done I will have the 2 blackout character trophies to do, so I'm expecting this one to take up a good chunk of my time as well!

Popular Post gruffiiti
Monday update Most of the week was spent playing Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter as the cases were fairly long and I went in blind without a guide after finding out there were no missable trophies. The rest of the week was spent with Cuphead and Broken Sword 5. Not much progress to report on Cuphead but did finish my playthrough of Broken Sword 5 last night. I missed one trophy though so will have to replay till I get it. Didn't want to start anything too heavy as I had planned to get back to some co-op games with @Spacey Dweeb this week. This may change though as we both picked up Hades on the weekend. Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter This game improved on the previous game in almost every way. The cases had more variety and were more interesting. I enjoyed sneaking as Wiggins, tracking as Toby, and getting shot at as Sherlock. At times you could even switch between Sherlock and Watson. The trophy list was great as there were no collectibles this time and virtually no missables, provided you didn't skip puzzles. I would recommend if you at all enjoyed Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments as this one is more of the same just simply better. Cuphead Beat one more boss level in Cuphead this week. That is all. Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse Was looking through my backlog for something interesting but on the shorter side to play this past weekend and this grabbed my attention. I have a soft spot for point and click adventure games as I played a lot of them back in the day on the old PC growing up. I had played this one before on a different account but its been so long I forgot most of the story. The replay was nice except for missing out on one collectible trophy. Will probably require a replay of the first hour or so of the game to get it and pop the plat so not terrible. Popular Post Spacey_Dweeb
Weekly Update: Whoops! Last week felt like a mistake in regards to completion. I started a lot of new things recently. I went camping for the weekend and it ended up being very busy and hot. I didn't find much time for relaxing with the Vita. Whenever I got into my sleeping bag, I was ready for sleep! Uncharted Drake's Fortune Remastered - I got the planned 100% on this. It was the only part of the plan I stuck to. I didn't struggle with Brutal too much. I used the weapon-swapping strategy to keep a decent amount of ammo and I made steady progress. The most annoying part was when you are in the back of a jeep with a turret gun. That bit felt like luck was needed. Scarlet Nexus/Avengers/Immortals/TLOU2 - I did boot these games up and played maybe an hour or two each but I didn't make any significant progress on any of them. Bastion - With Hades coming out, I decided suddenly I want all of Super Giant's platinums. So I started up Bastion. It was the only platinum I'm missing. I originally bought it on my iPhone in like 2011 so I knew it would be pretty short and I thought I could get the platinum before I left for camping. I didn't quite make it. I just need to do the dream sequences though. So assuming I don't die a lot those will take like an hour or two. Then I will probably need to replay one of the sequences a few times until I do really well for the 1 million points in score attack mode trophy. A Rose in the Twilight - I attempted to play this while camping, but I was just too hot and tired. I advanced through a few levels before I got stuck. The stage that I'm on, I can see that I need to push a flower pot down from a ledge so I can make it grow in a different spot and lift the giant up to a ledge he can't reach. I was trying some crazy method where I was riding a caterpillar across some vines and trying to water a plant while balancing on the caterpillar so it would grow from underneath us and lift the caterpillar up while it was moving so I could jump off it to ledge with the flower pot. But now that I'm clear-headed. I think most of that is not necessary and I probably just need to lure the caterpillar to push the flower pot for me and I was making it way more complicated than it needed to be. We'll see when I boot it up next. Sly Cooper and the Thievius Racoonus - I started this up to see if it would entertain my 5 year-old nephew during camping. I didn't plan to go for trophies, but the "Sucker Punched" trophy pops pretty much immediately upon opening the game. It wouldn't have helped if that didn't happen because there's a ton of early trophies like picking up 5 coins when there are coins literally everywhere. It's a nice and short platinum though. I'm sure I'll blast through it sometime soon. I've been curious about Sly Cooper for a while but have never played them before. I got a bunch of random games when i bought my Vita from a classified ad; this was one of them. Hades - I am a major fan of Super Giant and have been eagerly awaiting this game since it was announced as an Epic exclusive. I knew it would come to Playstation eventually and I was so mad when it's launch day conflicted with a camping trip. I got home and immediately played it. On my second escape attempt, I made it past Megara and got the trophy for escaping Tartarus, but every attempt since then Megara has ended my run. I think I am at six attempts, so I haven't done much in the game yet. I've avoided spoilers so I only know its gotten super good reviews. The first couple of hours with it though and I'm a little like, "Meh. What's the big deal?" I'm hoping it's a slower burn though. Transistor and Pyre took a bit to get into as well. Plans for Upcoming Week: My focus will be on finishing my list for Gaming by Numbers. Last week, that would have meant Avengers and Immortals Fenyx Rising. However, Bastion will be faster to finish and covers the same number as Immortals, so I'll probably be playing Avengers, Bastion, and a bit of Hades. I WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT START A NEW GAME THIS WEEK!!! Starting Completion: 68.51% Last Week's Completion: 71.50% Current Completion: 70.92%2021 Completion Goal: 80.00% Edited August 16, 2021 by Spacey Dweeb
kingofbattle8174
@Spacey Dweeb Once you start getting some good perks, Hades starts getting really good. Mag is a push over compared to the next area boss. I lost count of my attempts now but I keep going back. I unlocked the last weapon yesterday but still need to see how it stacks up. On my own journey. I will be down this month I think. Besides starting Hades, I also started a new kemco game and Lego Batman 2 for the Vita. Spacey_Dweeb
@kingofbattle8174 After work I did a couple more runs and made it through quite a bit. I got through the boss you warned about on the first try but it was lucky. I got a regeneration thing from Chaos early and I got all the way until you fight Theseus and the minotaur before I got stopped. I even came pretty close with those two. Minotaur was dead and Theseus had about a third of his health left.

I still need to finish doing 70 gold missions and a couple easy challenges for the 100%. I’m also one of those weird people that initially played it for fun with no thought of getting the platinum. I’ve spent 199 hours in story mode and 218 hours online. No doubt you can do it faster than I have. What’s crazy about the game is I’ll still get new events that I haven’t seen yet in story mode. That’s how much content they put into the game and I love it.

It's a fun little game, which I really couldn't get into previously, nothing too difficult, but the RNG for certain crafting tiems spawning can be a real pain. Also managed to find a boosting session for Naughty Bear, and cleared the 4 Multiplayer DLC trophies, I've done the majority of Episode 9 on it also, just need to get gold on the top hat challenge now. My immediate plans now, are to finish off the remaining Naughty Bear DLC trophies. Undecided what to do after that, considering finally getting Prey completed maybe. Popular Post Spacey_Dweeb
Weekly Update: I normally check in on Mondays when I'm taking a break from work. Today, I am bored. So I am checking in a day early. It was a pretty typical week for me, except I felt crappy one day and just wanted to sleep a lot and my sleep schedule is now thrown off again. I didn't start a new game, so I guess that's progress from the last couple of weeks where I've been bad about that sort of thing. Hades - I've played for about eight hours now according to my PS5. I actually thought it was a bit higher. I've made it up to the surface two or three times. You confront a boss up there before you've officially escaped the Underworld, but I have not been able to beat that boss yet. Not even close really. So I think it will take some effort to unlock more things to make that fight realistic for me to win. There's still a lot of trophies I don't even understand yet, so I think I have a lot to unlock and a very long way to go on this platinum. Bastion - I'm close to wrapping this up. I just need to do the stranger's dream with 10 idols active. The idols in this game add an effect that makes the game slightly more difficult. Stuff like enemies regenerate health, or enemies can turn invisible, etc. When all 10 idols are active, things can get a bit crazy. I haven't even attempted the Stranger's Dream yet, so I don't know if it's easier or harder than the other three I have done with 10 idols active. Each of those took several attempts. So my guess is roughly two or three more hours on this one. Marvel's Avengers - I started playing the Wakanda expansion and it looks really nice. But I didn't do much of the story before I decided to go back to trying to wrap up the platinum. Some good news, I finished the Elite Heroic Hive. I was a bit worried about this one. You have to clear 14 floors of enemies and if a hero gets downed three times, they are out. You have to pick a new hero and keep going. Since I took advantage of the 4x XP weekend. I have a few max level heroes. However, their gear score is very low; and gear score is what matters. If you are fighting level 150 enemies and your gear score is 40, you're going to have a bad time, even if you have all your abilities unlocked because your character level is maxed. However, my Captain America is fully decked out and is an absolute beast. I did all 14 floors without getting downed even once. So that was a load off. It was the only trophy I was worried about, because I'd have a long way to go to get more heroes ready for end game difficulty. Va-11 Hall-A - I finally did the second playthrough of this one and popped the platinum. I skipped all the dialogue this time around and just did what was needed for the platinum. I could have followed a guide the first time and do the game in one playthrough. Hell. I could have skipped all the dialogue and got it done in two hours the first time as well. It felt right to do the first playthrough blind and have my version of the story happen and actually understand what the hell I was playing instead of having some meaningless platinum on my record. No regrets for taking fifteen hours to do a game that could have been two. I recommend this game to my fellow hunters. If you think you'd enjoy a visual novel genre game, this one is interesting and worth it and doesn't have a bunch of awkward dating simulator stuff in it. You talk to weird people and mix drinks and try to make/save enough money to pay rent so you don't get evicted at the end of the month. There's one semi-frustrating bullet hell mini-game trophy to do. You just need to be good for about 5 minutes and then it's over. It probably took me more than 20 attempts to do it right. Plans for Upcoming Week: The Gaming by Numbers event is almost over, so I really want to wrap up Bastion and Avengers to complete all my numbers. Both can realistically get done so I don't have any stress about if I will finish or not. The only thing that could happen is my home life gets busier than normal and I don't get the same amount of game time as usual. Popular Post gruffiiti
Monday update Well I didn't start Hades this week as planned. I was working through a couple of point and click games earlier this week and had planned on starting Hades after those. For whatever reason it felt like the right time to tackle the Uncharted games after all these years so . I never did play the originals on the PS3 as I had an x360 at the time instead. Somehow I have been able to avoid spoilers all this time and am having a grand old time playing my first playthrough on Crushing. haha Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse It didn't take me too long to replay the story to get the collectible I missed so this game was finished really early on in the week. Irony Curtain: From Matryoshka with Love This is an adventure about a young man from America who idealizes Communism and tries to share his views on a live TV debate broadcast. When he gets a chance to visit the Communist country of Matryoshka he jumps at the chance and through plenty of wit and humour his tale unfolds. If you are a fan of point and click games this one has a lot going for it. The writing and graphics were really good and its not your typical story. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Remastered I have always planned on playing this series at some point but haven't gotten around to it for various reasons. This week I just felt like starting on them and I decided to go with it instead of playing Hades like I had originally planned. Ive never been a huge fan of having to replay a game multiple times back to back to complete the trophy list so to cut down the amount of times Id have to playthrough these game I am challenging myself by playing the first playthrough on Crushing. Its been a lot of fun so far but Ive been shot so many times this might as well be called my Swiss Cheese Drake runthrough. Looking forward to playing more this week. Sniper Elite 3 Spent some time last night boosting the MP portion of this game. Have a couple challenges left to play to secure The Everyman trophy and one more ribbon to earn for Highly Decorated. I would have finished the ribbons last night but the power went out in the whole block. Ended up heading for bed instead as nothing else to do. Metropolis: Lux Obscura I couldn't sleep as I'm not used to crashing so early. I grabbed my VITA which luckily was not dead and started up this game. Didn't really know what to expect but it is a story driven game where you match symbols in a Candy Crush style interface to do damage to enemies in fights. Ended up playing for a couple hours as it was rather addicting trying to win most battles. Its not a difficult game but a little luck can sure help sometimes. I'll likely finish this one off in the next few days. Problem is, I got two games I tried to do for that event still lingering. Treasures of Montezuma 4 on PS4 is even more luck based than the Vita version so those last two trophies may be lingering for a while now. Flower will be wrapped up eventually, it's just going to take a bit more time since longer play sessions aren't doable because the game makes me motion sick if I play longer than a half an hour. That limits me to playing one level and then having to quit for a few hours so it will be slow going but doable Making good progress in Shiness though and finally got myself back to not being down for the year. Should hopefully regain my 98% completion soon and be well on my way towards my goal.

Also resumed the oldest still obtainable platinum on my profile, Dragon Age: Origins. For some reason, I jsur randomly stopped playing this years ago, thankfully I'd done most of the work required for the traveller trophy. Just need to play through all the origins, and do Alistairs romance for the Platinum, and then mop up the remaing DLC- Just have the final mission on awakening, Witch Hnt & and the Golems left to do.
