gladiatorrrrrrr
10 hours ago, Spinacheq said: So for tips I would say only focus on 1 map, so you learn were the next target tends to spawn from. I found Saint Pierre the best one as is it pretty open and easy to move around in. I set my abilities up like this: Ability 1 - Disguise Ability 2 - Smoke bomb (this works great when you have multiple targets and aren't sure which one is the right one.) Ranged - knives Perk 1 - Blender (helps with multiple targets as one will always try to attack you.) perk 2 - Resistance (this helps if you get stunned by choosing wrong on a target, to recover faster) Kill streak - +250 So I focused as much as possible in the beginning of the match to get as many of the bonuses per kill. I.e. at the top left it might say silent kill or acrobatic kill. Until you get to the high teens these should be cake, and if you do as many as possible then you can rack up enough points to skip a stage or 2. I also always focused on getting a full lock and full focus bonus. This adds up pretty fast if you just this. I would spend a few secs blending in or walking slowly behind them it might seem like a time waste but the bonus points for it are better than the 5 to 10 secs you waste. Also if a time extend kill is close by go for it. Nothing flashy just kill and move on. Usually this was when I would use my disguise was right after murdering the time extender. Basically I started small focusing on how to the initial bonus kills for each target in the beginning, learning the lay of the land. after about 4 or 5 quick matches you will start to get the idea of where the next target will be and how to best approach them. If by the time you are at level 20+ and you don't have about 2 mins left on your timer it will be very hard to get to 25. Not impossible but harder. At least this is my opinion hopefully this helps. I also tried to follow the guide for that pack on this site it helped me a lot. thanks! this is really helpful. Didn't thought of focusing on 1 map only...that will help! Also your set-up... Psy-Tychist
@mareepx I enjoyed Gravel and I originally just installed it to get some points in a competition. I will have to reinstall it and have a proper go. @ladynadiad I haven't got my PS3 hooked up at the moment, but I enjoyed what I played of Witch and the Hundred Knight. Brothers I really should finish, I have no idea why I haven't sat down to just enjoy it yet. The POWGI game, I'm slowly working through and going to pop all the trophies at once. @Shadowlord87 Another game I have to dedicate some proper time to. Well, after AC Origins I think this could be my new Open World game. Thanks to all the recommendations!
Popular Post Gumby114
Update from me.... jeez am I consistently inconsistent? Astrobot How good is this for a free PS5 title? I know this is the general consensus but I haven't played anything else after turning this game on. Just having a blast looking for easter eggs and platforming. LEGO: Ninjago the Movie Video Game Just plugging away at levels at the moment. Its ok - not the best Lego game I have played but it also isn't the worst. Still focusing on: October Goals Metro 2033 - get the plat Lego Ninjago - get the plat AC Valhalla - finish France DLC Ghosts of Tsushima - Finish Iki DLC
Popular Post Llobster12
Update 8 Games started (start ---> current) (95--->110) (+15 from start of year) Games completed (start ---> current) (57--->80) (+23 from start of year) Platinum Trophies (start ---> current) (47--->69) (+22 from start of year) Completion percentage (start ---> current) 67.07% --> 77.79% (+10.72% from start of year) Goal: 75% ---- (+2.79% over original goal) Updated Goal: 80% ---- (2.21% to reach revised goal) I'm trying to update a little more often so I don't have such a mountain of text to write each time. Maybe it'll be more readable. It's definitely more typable! I got my unearned trophies to below 900 this week! (currently 899) I've been trying to get there for a long time. Games this last week: Batman: The Enemy Within (PS4) 100% Finished going through this one. It was alright. I think I liked the first TellTale season better, but this one wasn't bad. It left on a cliffhanger, so I think TellTale must've been planning a third season, too bad they went under. Resogun (PS4) 69% total progress, Plat achieved. I've been making my way through Resogun. It's so much fun, but really challenging for me. I may have given myself arthritis from stressfully gripping the controller this week as I played. I managed to get the platinum and felt very proud of myself. Then I started on the first DLC and boy are there some tough (for me) trophies in there. After hours and hours of practice I managed to beat a level (the first one) on Master without using any special abilities. I did the trophy for playing through Arcade mode in co-op without anyone losing a life. I had thought that one would be tough, but my son and I got through it on our first try. You only have to do it on Beginner difficulty, and after all the hours of practice on the harder difficulties it was pretty effortless. I had been dreading the trophy for beating the final level on Veteran with a custom ship with all abilities set to zero. I figured I'd practice for a week, and then give up. Then I decided to try it in co-op and see if the trophy is still valid... turns out it is! I had my son play a normal ship, and I played the nerfed ship. Only took two tries to beat the level, and then the trophy popped! Up Next: - Keep working on Resogun. Hopefully I can get through most of the rest of the DLC's this week. I may be able to pull off the 100% on this game - something I'd given up on long ago as I didn't think I could do it. Congrats to everyone on your progress! Happy trophy hunting everyone! After several hours, finally managed to beat all the Danger Ball challenges, just need to finish the last VR Luge challenge (complete the tour with 10 secodns left, my best so far is 5), and finish Scavenger's Odyssey (which isn't particularly hard, it just triggers some really awful motion sickness in me).

Spinacheq
Wow here is another later in the week than I hope to post, post. I am getting so bad. Update #40 So this week I kept only playing 1 game and didn't make as much progress as I was hoping too. That could be I think half because of work, and the other half because now that my niece and nephew live a block and half away they come over all the time and all they want to play is minecraft on xbox lol. Not a bad game but when I do get tired of it from time to time. So this last week I only managed to get a 0.12% increase going from 82.15% to 82.27%. I think I am going to have buckle down a bit if I want to hit my NG+ goal of 84% by the end of the year. Since there are a few games I want to get to that new old black log... by which are still sealed copies of games sitting on my shelf for awhile. Y's VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (PS4) Still plugging away at this game on chapter 5 of 6, and I think I am almost done with the 5th chapter, maybe later today when I sit back down to play some more. So far the story has been good, the fishing mini game is a bit weird and I have been trying to avoid any walkthroughs so I am hoping all things are going well. Spoiler *Putting the completed list in a spoiler tag well I hope I am doing this right, if not well I am a newb at spoiler tags lol. Current Week: Continue working on Ys VIII, As I haven't completed a game in over 2 months now I am feeling like I never will. I do have most of my systems set up in my office game room now so I might also try to finish off AC3 DLC or Fallout 3 DLC on PS3.

You're getting close to the end of chapter 5. It's a longer chapter but beating the Oceanus is pretty close to the end of the chapter and the next chapter is the last one where you'll be wrapping up the trophies to collect all the stuff. Ys games don't absolutely require a guide and the game will give you a very clear warning when you're about to hit the point of no return as well so you can know to save and go back to wrap stuff up.
Popular Post Static_Rook
Week 42. 10/18/2021 Starting PCG 32.61% Previous Week 41.38% Current PCG 41.73% Goal = 50% Games - Adams Venture Origins Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink Dungeon Encounters 0% 49% GT Sport 50% 51% Hardware Rivals 1% 5% Rayman Legends 35% 68% Rocket Arena 30% 38% Ys IX 10% 12% Kind of a mixed week. Didn't come close to my 1% increase goal, but I made some decent progress on my fall challenge games. I added Dungeon Encounters so that lowered my completion % a little, but I should get the plat for it by the end of this week. I got a few easy trophies in Hardware Rivals and Rocket Arena, not sure how much more I'll work on either. And I squeezed in a couple easy PS Now games right before this update for a tiny % boost. 50% is out of reach at this point, but I'm still going to try and get close. If I can hit 42.61% that will be a 10% increase for the year. That's my immediate goal, and then I'll try to hit 45% with whatever time is left in the year. For this week I'm focusing on fall challenge games, and then I'll sneak in a couple more quick PS Now plats over the weekend. Have a good week!
Popular Post gruffiiti
Weekly update Totally forgot to post progress yesterday with working on creating the Google Sheets doc for the DLC event. Oh well... a day late is better than not at all. I was having a really good week and pushed my completion up to as high as 87.34% but then decided to start 2 new games on the weekend. With those games added and some surprise DLC drops my percentage tanked instead. Im still positive though as I completed a game that had been on my profile for over 2.5 years and am starting to make good progress on the 2 newly added games. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition I was so relieved when Chatterbox popped when it was supposed to as I wouldn't have been happy to have to replay the entire game again. This was already my 3rd time playing through the game. Both times before was on a previous account and Chatterbox gave me grief in both of those previous playthroughs. It was fun going back to this game and am looking forward to playing Rise of the Tomb Raider in the near future too. (except maybe the challenge trophies ) Thanks again to @papert0wng1rl for motivating me to get this one done! Remnant: From the Ashes Wasn't the plan this week to start on this but when @Spacey Dweeb asked if I wanted to co-op this one I wasn't going to say no. I had been interested in this game for awhile so it really was a no brainer. So far its been quite fun and the co-op has been very smooth. Some of the boss fights have been somewhat challenging but fair. Most have taken us at most 3-4 tries to beat. Hope to continue on this during this week. Lair of the Clockwork God Never would have known about this game if it wasn't for @Cassylvania playing it and reviewing it on her checklist this summer. Went in blind and its been a mix of greatness, frustration, and some serious chuckles along the way. The writing in this game is pretty hilarious and for the sale price I picked it up on was a steal. I have one or two challenging platforming sections left to complete for trophies and a couple I missed along the way which may or may not need another playthrough. I'll find out soon enough I guess but at least the game isn't too long if just focusing on the story and speed running the objectives. Popular Post Spacey_Dweeb
As I mentioned in my previous post, I have been having some gaming burnout. It felt like it came out of nowhere. I thought maybe it was connected to a schedule change my wife made that affected my sleep pattern. However, today, I was glancing at my stats on PSNP, out of curiosity; and I discovered something interesting. If you look at the chart below, you can see, I generally hover around 200 trophies per month, which honestly is quite a lot to begin with. Suddenly in September, I was close to 500 trophies in a single month, then I plummet in October. I know not all trophies are created equal and I played some fast games like Tell Tale's Walking Dead, but I think this shows I was pushing myself in September. Which caused me to burn out in October. October is now looking more average. I've still been earning trophies in October, but having less fun and being way less motivated. While I was working through the lack of enthusiasm for gaming, I didn't end up taking any big breaks away from gaming like I was considering. I went through some of my backlogged games and tried to find something that would click and draw me in. I didn't find it after picking back up several games I abandoned in the past. So I asked my daughter to play Divinity Original Sin with me, and we've put a few hours into that and will continue to work on it. Then I went to Remnant from the Ashes. Although, its new on my profile, I played most of the way through this on XBOX a year or so ago, it did feel like going back to a backlogged game. I've been wanting to do it on PlayStation since it was announced as a PS+ title in March. I booted it up, and finally I had the game that drew me in again. After the first night playing, I invited @gruffiiti to join me since it's a perfect co-op game. He was gracious and did so, even though we already have a couple of games with co-op we should be finishing instead of starting new stuff. I feel like I've blown my goal of getting to 80% this year since I basically have sucked for three weeks straight. But I should start trending back up after this week. We'll see where I actually end up.
Spinacheq
Update #41 Yeah closer to the start of the week this time. So not much progress again this week. Getting closer to finishing Ys VIII. This week I managed to put up a 0.17% going from 82.27% to 82.44%. I wish it was more, though I am happy that it is some progress. (Next week will be better, since by the time I writing this, I beat the first play through of the game. shh don't tell anyone.) Spoiler Short update this week. As I don't want to give a review until I finish the game. Current Week: Continuing my Y's VIII playthroughs, and maybe some dlc clean up on ps3. Happy gaming all.

Decided to tackle the multiplayer for Far Cry 2, this is the only game since proeprly starting Trophy Hunting that I've not gotten the platinum for, time to change that Xp grind, all weapon manuals, and the 500 revives left to do.
