A point and Click mystery game. Really enjoyed the storyline for this. Bastion & Transistors The first 2 games from Supergiant. Someone on here did these, along with Pyre recently. Thanks for the recommendation whoever you were, all 3 games happened to be on sale around the time I saw your post. Really enjopyed both of them. Both relatively simple, other than one or 2 annoying challeneges (Strangers Dream in bastion with 10 idols was a bit of a pain, as were the performance tests in Transistor when the RNG didn't go your way). Pyre is next on the to do list. Probably going to try somehtign else after that, before tackling Hades, as I hear that one is quite a bit longer to do.
Popular Post gladiatorrrrrrr
Monday update! Started to work on some DLC's this week. Haven't got the energy to finish some already started games. Is is pretty busy at work anyway. Borderlands 3 + DLC (4/5) - PS4 Finished 4 DLC's this week. What a great game Borderlands is! Love the humor! DLC's give you value for money that is for sure. Last of Us Remastered + DLC (0/4) - PS4 Restarted this game by playing first some DLC and move from there. I did a blind play through years ago so I have many trophies still left! Metro Last Light + DLC (4/5) - PS3 On hold. Dead Nation + DLC (0/1) - PS3 Played half way through my Grim run. Will probably dive more into it again this upcoming week. Current Status: Plans for next week: - work on DLC's - prepare myself for Battlefield 2042 - YEAH! happy trophy hunting everybody!
Popular Post Gumby114
It is time for one of my sporadic updates!! Aren't you all a luck bunch? Lego Ninjao: The Movie Done and dusted this game while I was on a few days off sick. I liked that TT tried something a bit different and had the levels as hub worlds instead of a hub world with levels separate. I'm not sure they could do this with many other games but I do really think it made the game feel more open world and succinct. I'm not really of the Ninjago generation (I grew up with the throw bots, Lego Systems and the initial release of Star Wars Lego) so did really feel invested in the story. The humour was not great but I am 30 year old playing a kids game. (added 0.20%) Metro 2033 Played some more of this game this week. I really do enjoy the gritty setting and story. I am a long-time fan of the books. Not really sure why I am finding this game so difficult to finish. I enjoy playing it and have had a ball with it so far. It is my by the end of this month non negotiable. (Will add 0.50%) Ghost of Tsushima: Tales of Iki This game is great and the DLC is no exception. PS just keep proving to me that they can make wonderful exclusives with great DLC (Spider-man is the exception - great game/not the best DLC). Not much else to say really. I will keep plugging away the exploration trophies, I have 2 main story missions to go and then clean up the remaining story missions. (Will add 0.15%) I have 4% to increase by the end of the year to hit my target. I have 2 weeks holidays around Christmas (how good is working in education in Australia) 2% per month is my current goal. These 3 games should net me around the 0.85% increase. 1.15% to find in the next 14 days? or 3.15% in December. Ps any ideas when Attack on Completion Year 5 will up to join and not complete for the third year running?
Popular Post gruffiiti
Weekly update No new completions this week but did manage to pop the platinum in Sniper Elite 3 and make some good progress in Demon Souls. Demon's Souls Got back into Demon Souls this week and with the help of @Spacey Dweeb have been making decent progress. Have a few more things to do before NG+ and collecting the final souls I will need for the platinum but am getting close to finishing the first playthrough. I haven't figured out why one of the NPCs vanished on me either but should be able to get what I need from him in NG+ anyways so not too bothered. Just means I have to wait to murder his arse a bit longer. Sniper Elite 3 I managed to find my missing collectible and wouldn't you know it was on the very last person in the very last mission i checked. I left that specific one for last as I was 100% sure I collected that collectible previously. I'm not sure if it glitched or it reset for some reason but I was happy I didn't have to start all over. I also completed one of the DLCs this past weekend but have yet to buy the final DLC so that one will have to wait a bit. Sniper Elite 4 Played through the first level in this game just getting a feel for the gameplay and quality of life improvements from SE3. So far I'm quite happy with some of the small things that were added. The level design of the first 2 levels has me impressed and the game feels much more engaging. Avoided popping any trophies yet but that will happen this week for sure and my progress will drop accordingly. Hope to get this one and the dlc done by the end of the year. I was hoping to get the platinum on Vita and then transfer my save to PS4 to do all the DLC, but the sync hasn't worked the few times I've tried it so far. Popular Post Spacey_Dweeb
Weekly update Alright! It's Tuesday again. Time for an update. I felt the momentum growing last week and turns put I just needed to get that Demon's Souls platinum as soon as possible. Demon's Souls So I've gotten a few false starts on this game. Where I play a few levels, put it down thinking I'll be back soon; but actually come back months later and decide I should just restart. This would have been the fourth time, I think. I wanted it to happen this time. I really do enjoy this style of game. Some of my previous false starts were from trying to do it co-op with @gruffiiti A good all around dude and great partner for reliable trophy help. Anyway, we've had some trouble syncing in the past couple months, so I was just like, I'm going to move ahead play the game and when he's ready for co-op I'll join him and all is well. So I playthrough the game. I had good things about the Lava Bow so I decided to craft it. realized later that was a mistake because you need that boss' soul a few times. So at the end of my playthrough. I was slightly annoyed with myself for not doing proper research on what I needed to keep around. So I made a new character that was dex-based which is my typical build for these games. Grabbed the uchigatana, had the Gruff help me transfer some crafting materials to boost my weapon up and played the whole game through on Saturday and again on Sunday. Its much different when you are just going for the boss kills. Very nice experience. So between the three full-playthroughs I did for my own trophy, the various false starts, co-oping and helping out the Gruff, I think I will have put well more than double the average number of hours into this platinum. Solid game though. I do recommend. Skyrim So after plowing through Demon's Souls, the question of "What's next?" came up the following night. I didn't have an answer, but @Bushido_Cypher just posted a platinum walkthrough of Skyrim. This was on my profile with like one trophy since April. Anyway, his video guide is just the style of trophy guide I like. I don't want a watch a platinum walkthrough that's 120 hours of someone else playing the game first. This guy's video is like, two hours long but probably covers 100 hours of game time. He just points you in the right direction and tells you what to look out for so you don't miss a trophy. He even says stuff like, "You're going to end up here. Just do the main quest. You don't need me to teach you to follow a waypoint." I love it. You'll watch five minutes of video and then have a solid couple of hours of uninterrupted Skyrim to enjoy to catch up with the video. I've come across Bushido_cypher a few times. I don't have any specific memories, but I did have a positive association to his name and it's connected to PSNP or trophy hunting in some way. I thought he might be one of the Platchum guys on Youtube, but I went and disproved that myself before posting. Anyway, Looking forward to following the full guide and associating him with a great Skyrim guide. Guide is here, if you are interested.

Couldn't find it on the site (must be me ) The lava bow was a good weapon, but using that boss soul for a weapon caused me to need an extra playthrough. So it doesn't seem worth it. @gruffiiti just did the standard upgrades to a bow and his did noticeably more damage. The nice part about the lava bow was that when I shot enemies they'd get stunned for a second because of the fire damage on the bow. I could stun-lock most enemies with it. gruffiiti
Ahh you are correct. I always thought it was the same guy. I stand corrected. Popular Post Llobster12
Update 10 Games started (Jan 1 ---> current) (95--->114) (+19 from start of year) Games completed (Jan 1 ---> current) (57--->83) (+26 from start of year) Platinum Trophies (Jan 1 ---> current) (47--->72) (+25 from start of year) Completion percentage (Jan 1 ---> current) 67.07% --> 79.01% (+11.94% from start of year) Goal: 75% ---- (+4.01% over original goal) Updated Goal: 80% ---- (0.99% to reach revised goal) Games since last update: Resogun (PS4) 88% total progress (+1% from last update), Plat achieved. DLC 1 & 2 completed. I'm just plugging away at the challenges. The only trophy I've managed is to get a silver medal on at least 10 challenges. I'm up to 7 of the 10 gold medals needed for the next trophy. I'm still working on commando mode. I've made it to round 20 (the last one I'm pretty sure) three times, but haven't quite gotten to the end yet. It's just a matter of time. Not a lot of trophies left, but still a lot of work to do on this game. Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus (PS3) 100%, Plat achieved. I played through this over the last week with my kids. At bedtime I told them if they were quiet and promised to go to bed right after they could watch me play a game of their choice for 30ish minutes per night. This was the first one they chose. It's a simple but great old 3D platformer. I played it when it first came out on the PS2 long ago, and enjoyed it this second time too. Demon's Souls (PS3) 14% (+13% from last update) It looks like everyone's playing this right now! I decided before I dove into the PS5 one I would play through the PS3 version first. I had 1% completed on this game from 8 years ago and wanted to complete it. Also, I wanted to be able to fully appreciate the PS5 remake. I figured it would be a game that I'd want to play through several times to try out different play styles and builds so I'm using a guide to get through PS3 trophy list (I'm using the duping bug so that I don't have to do tons of replays on the PS3 version for all the crafting trophies.) Then I'll play through the PS5 version 100% legit. I'm not sure if I made the right choice and if I'm robbing myself of the full experience with a first blind playthrough.... but too late now! I'm enjoying myself so there is that. Up Next: - Continue to grind away at Resogun. - Hopefully finish the PS3 version of Demon's Souls and maybe start the PS5 remake after I get the PS3 plat. - I'll be starting Kena: Bridge of Spirits on PS5 this week. I've been really excited to play this and was holding out for the physical release. Congrats to everyone on your progress! Happy trophy hunting everyone!

Got a surprise gift card so I spent most of the weekend playing through a bunch of sub $3 games. They were pretty evenly split between "Hey, this isn't bad" and "Okay, yeah this actually is bad." The highlights for me were Legend of the Skyfish and Knightin+, while Alien Destroyer and The Pig D were at the bottom of the pile. Everything else fell between those. Getting the four-of-a-kind or better trophy in Video Poker took me longer than all the other games combined, but I finally got it after roughly 2600 hands. And I would have the Wizodd platinum too, but it's crashed on me twice after beating the final boss. I suggest avoiding that one if you're looking for a cheap, easy plat. That 50% goal is looking within reach again thanks to this little boost. But, I also picked up a few bigger games that I'm itching to try so my % will be dipping back down a little soon. I also made some more progress on two fall challenge games. Got the plat for AC2, and finished all of the Origins paintings in Rayman. Not sure what I want to play next for that. This week is going to be tough for games so I'm not sure what or how much I'll play. Happy Thanksgiving!
Popular Post gruffiiti
Weekly update I made some great progress this week and then ultimately tanked all the gains (temporarily i hope). Demon's Souls Finished up my first run this past week and I have to say.. murdering all my pals in the hub just to get one ring I needed was rather funny. All the black/white tendency events have been done so that is a relief. All that's left now is a boss rush playthrough to get the souls to buy all the missing spells I need and I had to go find that deserter Ostrava to get this mausoleum key. Maneater Decided to grab the dlc while it was still on a little bit of a discount. I was pretty pumped for this as I really enjoyed the game when I played it months ago. On paper there was a lot to like about the dlc, a new island area and new bosses and new collectibles to find. However, most of the events/quests just really felt uninspired and only thrown in to increase the time it would take to complete. I was pretty bored of "Go here and eat 10 people" and "Go here and destroy this tower" by the end of the game. I recall the joy I felt after the last couple trophies popped and then realizing the joy was not because I accomplished something it was because I was finally done with this dlc and I could delete it off my HDD. Yeah it was ultimately a big miss for me. The potential was there but it fell way flat for me. Hopefully others enjoyed it much more than I did. Sniper Elite 3 I ended up buying the Hunt for the Grey Wolf dlc this week just to finally get this to 100%. I had it in my watchlist for the past year hoping for a sale but I just hasn't ever dropped in price so I finally caved. The plus side is this game is now 100% complete. Really enjoyed it especially playing the missions in co-op. So much so I started up Sniper Elite 4 already. Sniper Elite 4 Jumped straight into this game after Sniper Elite 3. I had messed around in the first mission some last week but joined up with a friend to complete the 2 overwatch missions this weekend. I'm slowing working through the main missions solo while gathering all the collectibles (and there are plenty in this version). I knew starting this would tank my progress for the month and I was right as it dropped my completion by a full percent. Hopefully I can mostly negate that by the end of the month though. My last update was ages ago and plenty happened, right after my last update I left on a trip with my family and after that I took some time from gaming to solve some study to-dos. Then I had some interesting weekends with my wife and her brothers where we played Guacamelee and just after that I decided to go back to my backlog and where I left it. So this past 2 weeks I did some clean up to my ongoing list as I'm also prepearing for the release of FF14 Endwalker. I've been neglecting my PS3 and Vita lately also, so I gotta get back to them. Finally, I decided to change my report layout again to reflect the games that I didn't touch (I had dropped them the last time) and also the list of games that I finished during the event (as a good reminder to all the progress made, since I'm most likely not reaching my % goal this year unless a miracle happens lol) This past week: Genshin Impact - PS5 / PS4 - 33% ATM (+13%) Done with the Liyue Storyline and going for Inazuma Natural Doctrine - PS4 - 56% ATM (+6%) Finally got back to this one, it is indeed and quite unbalanced game in terms of difficulty, I learned some new tricks that are helping, but still hard to progress, currently I'm somewhat at halfway the story Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition - PS4 - 14% ATM (+14%) Started this one with my wife and her brothers right after we completed Guacamelee, to bad there's no 4P coop Persona 4 Arena - PS3 - 27% ATM (+5%) Finally finished multiplayer trophies, not sure if I'll be able to plat this but I'll try to get as many trophies as possible at least No progres this past week: Final Fantasy XIV - PS5 - 75% ATM Far Cry 2 - PS3 - 18% ATM Concrete Genie - PS4 - 95% ATM - Need a PSVR to complete this Muramasa Rebirth - VITA - 21% ATM Limbo - VITA - 4% ATM Completed this past week: Abzû - PS4 Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Remastered - PS4 Guacamelee! Popular Post Spacey_Dweeb
Weekly Update Another update already?! This week flew by. Work has been busy and my need to escape into a game at night has been very prevalent this week. Skyrim I praised the guide from Bushido Cypher last week and I had been following that for a while. Ironically, I took a small detour to turn in what I thought was a side quest and suddenly I was sailing to a new continent. It was the island for the Dragonborn DLC. I decided to stay there and played through the whole DLC. I didn't do the exploit Bushido recommends in his guide since it looks like it would break the game and make it not worth playing. However, I did put the difficulty to easy to speed things along. Due to this, I was able to struggle through the DLC. It wasn't too bad once I started getting some good gear from the enemies I was fighting. I did stop to check for missable trophies but after taking note of the one missable DLC trophy I played that DLC without any guide at all. I have two trophies left for the DLC. One is to ride 5 dragons. I think I've gotten four now. I don't have the missable trophy, but I got the part that causes it to be missable done. The last bit relies on me getting my smithing skill high enough to make something out of the special DLC ore. House of Ashes This one barely counts. My wife and I played this with our cousin and her spouse as kind of double-date. We played through the whole story but since it was completely blind, we popped almost none of the trophies. I'll hop back into this to clean it up eventually. I have several things to clean-up that are almost done lately. So this will probably fall off to the side for a while.
Popular Post Gumby114
Update time boys and girls!! Metro 2033 Played some more of this last night. I am about half way through my first playthrough and stressing about not having 1000 rounds saved by the end of the game. I have roughly 500 and have passed the two levels have 250 round stashes. Will see how I go this playthrough and then follow a guide on my second playthrough if I need to. I will need to go back and get some of the thophies through chapter select as I doubt I'll get all of the weapon related trophies. Ghost of Tsushima: Tales of Iki Finished the DLC. I enjoyed it a lot. I did earn some of the online trophies as well. Thinking about giving the 100% a red hot go. I earned the only online trophy I was worried about first match of rivals (summon 5 shades). I was carried by my teammate as forget most of the controls and item combos. Overall I have increase by 0.46% this month. My goal is 87% and I am sitting at 83.01%. I am hoping to gain an additional 1% in the next 6 days and go for 3% while I am on holidays. It will be tight but I can't not get my goal 2 years running. Games that I will focus on for November and then December: Metro 2033 - 0.44% One Piece: World Seeker - 0.14% Everybody's Gone to the Rapture - 0.21% Dishonoured - 0.50% Assassin's Creed: Black Flag - 0.30% Bioshock Infinite DLC - 0.40% Total - 1.99% Just need to find an extra 2% Edited November 23, 2021 by Gumby114

This week, I managed to get Fallout 76 up to 100%, ended up enjoying it enough to carry on playing it for a few more days. Played and finished Loot Hero DX, by far the easiest platinum I have ever done, this was done for the sole reason of it having 13 trophies. I've also now started Hades, I've managed to beat the first 2 areas, did to the boss of the 4rd however.. This is going to be my project for teh next few weeks to come

Popular Post Static_Rook
Week 48. 11/29/2021 Starting PCG 32.61% Previous Week 44.77% Current PCG 44.74% Goal = 50% Games - Final Fantasy XIII 5% 7% Outriders 0% 9% Soul Sacrifice 11% 12% Wizodd 73% 91% XCOM Enemy Unknown 4% 15% I started Outriders so my % dipped a little as expected. I nabbed another trophy in Wizodd so I just need the last one for collecting all 4 necklaces in one run. Hopefully I'll get it by Wednesday, but I'm pretty sick of the game by now. Especially since I already should have had that particular trophy about three times now but the game bugged out. Most of December is going to be spent playing longer backlog games for the winter challenge (FF13, XCOM, and Freedom Wars), but I used the last $15 on my gift card to go on another cheap game spree between the Indies and End of Year sales. So I've got a decent stash of quick plats to bump up my completion %, but also 4 or 5 long games I want to start that will drag it back down a little. Should be an interesting final month. Good luck on the home stretch everybody!
