I've picked this as my 50th platinum since the original is one of my best memories of gaming of all time. I played the original on PSOne when it first released back when I was a kid. I remember staying up late with my friends arguing about who had to take the controller because we were all too scared to play. We eventually beat it and I became a hero when I played through the whole game on whatever the hardest difficulty was back then without saving once. Because of this I figured I'd have no problem starting on hard this time around. I'm currently ammo-less and health item-less and may have to start over being more careful. ? The Pathless Played all the way through and platinumed this one this week. It was a lot of fun. I loved the gameplay, the art and the music. I liked how they told the story. The game was just the right length and an easy platinum experience. It was a nice change of pace after really having to dedicate my attention for the plat on Sackboy: A Big Adventure (the speed run trophy "Stringing it Together" was tough for me) Sky Force Anniversay After years of chipping away at this off and on with my son we finally got 100 medals and got all the cards to drop to reach the 100%. It's a fun little game and it was satisfying to finally finish it. Maybe we will dive into Sky Force Reloaded later this year.... Up next this week: - Continue through Resident Evil HD - Chip away at the new time trials added to Tools Up - Maybe start Spirit of the North, I'm not sure yet Happy trophy hunting everyone! If you want to get the platinum for this ASAP, I highly recommend Optinoob's guides on his YouTube channel. After a couple nostalgia runs I just wanted to get the plat so I followed his platinum speedrun and got it done in like 3 sessions. I have new games I’ve bought, but haven’t started them. Other than that, I just play whatever I’m feeling when it comes to the backlog. I’ve been grinding away on AC 3 Liberation terrible MP to get to level 15 but not consistently. Currently level 10. It’s just so terrible I can only make my self do it for about 30 min maximum at a time. ? Thinking I might get some PSVR trophies done this weekend and maybe Skyrim and/or Dishonored on PS3. Well @Squirlruler puts in all the hard work to gather the info and show us our progress once every month. Aside from that there are no strict rules on how or what to do. Just play games and if you like drop some info here for us to share a bit of your journey some people write updates on a regular basis like every sunday/monday/etc. and some when they completed a game or two. I'll run it Thursday to Thursday. 7-14th Jan I had some work to do still on Need For Speed Rivals and fortunately reached Racer Rank 40 and then 60 and earned the 100 gold medals across both factions which meant I had the platinum for that game. The 2 other games I am mainly invested into are Horizon Chase Turbo and Assassins Creed 2, both on PS4, however playing the Ezio Collection on the PS5. I earned the bronze trophy for completing India to 100% so now need to complete 4 more stages (100% each one) before I complete the World Tour Mode, I am also working on the Professional Tournament on that too. Assasins Creed I completed DNA sequence 6 and collected the 8 statuettes and now playing through DNA sequence 7, the feathers task looks dauting and not one I'm looking forward to, only 13 out of 100 collected so far. I've also played a bit of Fuser, I'm dabbling in that now and again and I had a quick look at The Crew 2 which and earned the trophy they give away for starting + for taking a photo. This will be my next game after Horizon Chase Turbo. Finished: Stranger of Sword City (2 trophies earned) Started: Pic-A-Pix Pieces (6 trophies earned, 26% completion) Alphaset by POWGI (NA Vita) (platinum earned) Started a few games because I'm looking to make Ys IX my 200th plat and it comes out on the 2nd of next month and those games usually take me about 1-2 weeks to plat. Currently sitting at only 194 plats so I'm trying to do some easy stuff to get me to 199 in time. My plan is to knock out the other stack for Alphaset by POWGI along with Autumn's Journey which is a short VN to knock out some easy plats and then do some of my unstarted Pic-A-Pix PS4 stacks until I hit 199. I'd like to be at 199 before Ys IX comes out because I know Ys games are the sorts of games that time just flies while playing them. I admit, I'm also kind of debating on saving Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes for plat #225. It's a pretty fun game and definitely a time consuming plat worthy of a milestone to me. Making some progress here, but no trophies to show for that yet. Once I hit 200 plats though I'll go back to this and also start working on chipping away at some of those old incomplete games. Looks to me you started me off my stats 1 week or so into the year as opposed to Jan 1...but that's fine with me. I just wish I knew how you work your magic anyway!! So far this year I have completed 2 games which combined had been on my back log for 10 years! Ratchet & Clank Full Frontal Assault & All 4 One. Both games can be played solo but really shine as co-op games. I was fortunate to hook up with 2 players who helped me immensely. Also I have come within one trophy of 100% on AC3, but the 100% sync requirements on several sea missions are eluding me. Both games can be played solo but really shine as co-op games. I was fortunate to hook up with 2 players who helped me immensely. Also I have come within one trophy of 100% on AC3, but the 100% sync requirements on several sea missions are eluding me. The single player missions on this AC is without a doubt the most difficult one of the series I have encountered so far. Yea, I was out of town on the first and so getting 1/1 stats would have taken me a week or so to get so I decided to just get them as of like the 1/4 or so. I just tend to end up with a bunch of Falcom games as milestones but it's actually been a while since I had an Ys game there and Ys IX deserves a spot with it being my second favorite series and the series I've been into the longest.
