ThunderSpark91 Posted December 22, 2020 Share Posted December 22, 2020 I was planning to platinum this game without the DLC, do not get me wrong the Witcher 3 is great and all but I already have the full collection on PC.The thing is I got the Gwent Trophy for the Hearth and Stone DLC, The thing is so far as I have known I do not own the DLC for this game, I got this copy from a friend and clearly this is not a game of the year edition.Killed It Win a round of gwent with a total strength of at least 187. DrBloodmoney Posted January 29, 2021 Share Posted January 29, 2021 (edited) The main game has to take a patch just to allow the possibility of adding the DLC, and that patch includes the dlc trophy pack (which is why the dlc trophies install on your profile whether or not you buy it). That means that if it is possible to meet the DLC trophy requirements using the tools of the base game, then they will pop, as the game is just recording whether you have met the requirements, not whether you paid / installed the actual content of the DLC.
