You will definitely fail a few times. Since all it takes is one hit to ruin your run. This happened to me 2-3 times on GTV (3rd boss) he was bleeding out but managed to hit me. Popular Post GraniteSnake
Second game of Tier 1 complete. This was added to my profile during my college days as it was quite fun to play with friends. Never really thought I'd ever complete this, especially considering it was unobtainable for quite some time because support for the Live Events stopped. Luckily an event was added making the two associated trophies attainable once more. You can boost the two toughest trophies, 'Legend' and 'All in a Day's Work', which makes this a very manageable platinum when all's said and done. The longest trophy, earning 100,000 coins in fight rewards, took me 320 fights in single-player ultimate team so it ended up being quite a repetitive grind. Glad to have this out of the way! Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (4.96%) - 100% Killzone: Mercenary (3.96%) - 67% EA Sports UFC 2 (1.56%) - 100% [PS4] Mighty No. 9 (0.80%) - 17% Worms Battlegrounds (1.17% ; 0.43%) - 26% Not really sure what I'm in the mood for next. I might try and complete the campaign in Worms before returning to Killzone to work on those contracts again. Popular Post SlimSanta94
I've decided that i'd like to swap Crash Bandicoot 4 out of my tier 1 list. Mainly because i'm a bit burnt out with speedruns at this point and the game itself likely won't be ultra rare anymore by the time i'm done. Nuclear Throne - 100% Dead By Daylight - 100% Splasher - 100% MotoGP 09/10 - 85% Crash Bandicoot 4 OUT - 10 Second Ninja X IN I'll also take this opportunity to share what my tier 2 list will be: Rocksmith 2014 (PS3) - 0.81% Atari Flashback Classics Vita - 2.30% Futuridium EP Deluxe - 0.08% Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus - 0.79% Wipeout Omega Collection - 1.30%

Knytt Underground - 4% Completion Batman: Arkham City (PS3) - 76% Completion Hand of Fate - 56% Completion Neon Chrome - 52% Completion 100% flOw (PS4) - 100% Completion Finally have got the last couple of unlockables for Neon Chrome and after over a dozen retries for the first and fourth floors each. Getting the Laser Pistol is a mission in itself as a 1 in 12 chance and you may not even get a special room per room on that floor. But that is all done now. Now to try and do more Hand of Fate. Or maybe Batman if I can plug on my PS3 at some point...
Popular Post Together_Comic
Mini update from me: We've made yet more progress on Super Meat Boy, I need 1 warp zone, 2 bandages, and about 10 cotton alley darkworld levels for the 100%. Is it me or do the levels feel like they are getting really long lol. Hopefully I can hit my goal in the next few days. then its on to grinding the deathless runs. ~TC
Popular Post SlimSanta94
Just finished my 4th tier 1 game: MotoGP 09/10 Difficulty - 4/10 Enjoyment 6/10 This platinum was impossible to get for about 7-8 years. There is one online trophy that requires you to win a race against 19 other human players, which sounds straightforward but the catch is that you need an extremely good internet connection to host a lobby that large in this game, an internet connection that was either extremely expensive or didn't exist when this game was released. Once that trophy is done however, it's pretty easy, the AI is very easy to beat and upgrading your bike just slowly makes the game even easier over time. Getting to level 30 was a bit of a drag by the end of it and it did eventually get to a point where it started to wear out its welcome, but it was nothing too troublesome. If you ever happen to want to play this, i'd recommend trying to get the 20 player online trophy out of the way first and just avoiding this game if you can't get that. This is a very easy platinum once that awful trophy is out of the way though. Nuclear Throne - 100% Dead By Daylight - 100% Splasher - 100% MotoGP 09/10 - 100% 10 Second Ninja X - 15%
Popular Post Smzthyy
Been a while since my last update but I have actually managed to complete three more UR games during that time. Sadly they were all done before the latest rule change so none of them will count towards my progress. Still, I would like to briefly discuss each one as some of the games may be of interest to those that are participating in this event. Wuppo (0.66%) Finally got around to playing this after picking it up during a sale sometime last year. The platinum breaker for most people is the "Boss Run: Impossible" trophy which requires you to beat the Boss Run without picking up any items. The problem with this trophy is that it is actually much harder on the PS4 version of the game as you are only given one Ice Cream to heal yourself with. Whereas on the PC version you are given three to start with. Without any exploits this would actually be pretty difficult to do as the regular weapon is very under powered. Fortunately though, there is an exploit that allows you to double your health. So instead of starting with 100 health you are able to start with 200. You are still only given one Ice Cream, but the trophy is now much more doable. During my successful run I managed to make it all the way to the final boss without using my Ice Cream, which was pretty tough to do. Luckily I managed to keep a hold of it though as I nearly lost all my health towards the very end. I must say that I did enjoy this part of the game quite a bit. I did fail at the final boss a few times, but overall it was a decent experience. The story was alright I guess. I personally found it to be a bit repetitive and too slow paced for my liking. But it's definitely something unique that is worth picking up whenever it goes on sale. Top Darts (0.69%) This was a decent little game. Nothing too challenging, but quite fun. This game is one of those that utilises the Vita's touch screen as you need to swipe up to throw each dart. The hardest trophy can be obtained by earning all of the Medal darts, which are rewarded for completing certain tasks within each mode. The toughest one requires you to get a 1001 checkout, which means that you need to throw 18 perfect darts in a row. I am also somehow the fastest achiever for this game, which is pretty neat I guess. I will also be doing the much rarer PS3 version that makes use of the PS Move controller. Tetris Ultimate (0.08%) This is currently the hardest completed game on my profile and the first of which I would consider to be a 10/10 in terms of difficulty. All of the trophies in this game are tied to the 36 in-game badges that can be obtained by completing various tasks. Most of them aren't too difficult, but a select few are very challenging. For the hardest trophy you are required to beat Sprint mode in less than 60 seconds, which requires you to clear a line every 1.5 seconds. This was very difficult for me to do and it actually caused my Vita to become faulty. Playing at that sort of pace consistently is something that my Vita clearly didn't take too kindly to. Despite that, I will say that it was very satisfying to gradually keep inching closer towards that elusive time of less than 60 seconds. The second hardest badge can be earned by completing a 20-Combo. In order to obtain a 20-Combo you need to clear 21 lines consecutively with 21 different pieces. While being nowhere near as hard as the Sprint one, it was still quite challenging. It also doesn't help that it is very luck based in terms of being able to get the right pieces at the right time. On a number of occasions I was able to build up perfectly only to fail due to getting bad pieces. In addition to all of this you also need to clear 100,000 lines in online play. This took close to 100 hours for me to do, and it was the sole reason why I was reluctant to put this game in my first tier. I'd also like to give a big thanks to @ScepticW for helping me out with all of the online requirements. He also kindly offered to idle his Vita for me whenever I felt like working on it, which I am very grateful for. I am glad that I don't have to pester you about this game anymore. Popular Post BrandedBerserk
Dariusburst (0.46%) Score: 9.5/10 Difficulty: 9.5/10 Third entry on the list completed. This genre is one I casually enjoy but never really plat any of em so when I started whats considered one of the hardest shoot em up plats out there I thought "yeah I'll probably never plat but it's surely a great game so why not give it a go?" Here I am after 120 hours and almost one year later with it done. This is easily the best shmup I've played and while it's still simple In concept like the others, there's a shit ton of strategy involved here for those that take the time to learn it's mechanics. As for difficulty, QUZ run no damage lives up to its reputation and took me a little over 30 hours of practice to successfully complete it. I actually had to do it twice because of a glitch that stops all trophies from popping once you use the restart option. I was aware of the glitch but quitting to the menu every time I got hit was just too off-putting so I decided to go ahead and save time by simply using restart. Even after all the gut wrenching close calls on quz, I still enjoyed majority of my time spent here with the exception of 220 missions In cs mode which was just an unnecessary grind. (To all the ♥ devs that add grindy trophies to games yall mommas are hoes.) Popular Post HusKy
Sniper Elite 3 (PS4) + DLC ? Playing SE3 after SE4 was painful. There's a huge gap in quality between these 2 games and unfortunately we ran into multiple glitches (Mission 5 - Generals glitched 3 times out of 5 runs) and other "WTF" moments that soured our experience. Overall, the game feels and plays like old gen and I'm just glad it's done. Onto the next game in Tier 1. Joe Dubz
On 3/7/2021 at 0:38 PM, Arcesius said: Alright guys, we have been discussing and have come to a unanimous decision. Please keep in mind that the first thing we want to achieve with this event is that you guys have fun, but that we, as hosts, also want to enjoy our role as organizers. To that end, we decided that we want to keep the structure as is, with the Tiers and the limit of games per tier. But we also decided to be more lenient with the swaps. The following holds from this moment forward: Rules Update Each participant has a total of 5 swaps available for the first 4 Tiers. Once Tier 5 has been reached, there is no limit to the number of games that can be committed, and no limit to the available swaps. There is no way to gain additional swaps. Now, this will be reflected in the OP, and I will also soon update the spreadsheet with the new number of swaps available. Unfortunately, making these kinds of changes in the middle of the event also means that specific situations can and will be felt to be unfair. For example, what about those players that completed UR games under the previous rule? They could have swaped their games for the completed ones and get more points that way. To those players I say that we are sorry, but we cannot accept swaps retroactively. Doing so would probably result in a cascade of swaps. I hope you guys understand! Note that there will be no more rule changes from now on until the end of the event! However, we encourage you to give constructive feedback nonetheless. In case there is enough interest, there is always the possibility that an event like this finds a continuation in 2022, and we (or whoever decides to organize it) will definitely listen to feedback. For example, we might not only consider rarity a criterion for which games to allow, but number of achievers (to include games like The End is Nigh, for example). I hope everyone (or almost everyone) is pleased with the change, and again sorry to those that feel this is a bit unfair to them. Now, @Dzware I honestly hope to finish Pier Solar very soon... I just didn't want to take my second swap as well if I don't manage to finish it... I will swap it in in case I finish the minigame, before popping the plat I'll get it eventually! @Miles watch me finish Crypt in Tier 3 ? (nope) @Grotz99 here you go!
Popular Post Static_Rook
I've been neglecting my Tier 1 games so I'm going to use one of my swaps to get motivated again. I'm taking out Transformers Devastation and putting in Rez infinite. Right now the plat is sitting at 3.87%, but I'm assuming that will climb once it goes free. I want to use it in this challenge before it loses that UR status. So now my Tier 1 looks like this: Tier 1 Fire Pro Wrestling World Lapis X Labyrinth 53% Limbo (PS3) 91% Skullgirls 100%Transformers Devastation -> Rez Infinite 1% 2/5 games done Swaps used: 1/4 Gonna try and knock out that low death run in Limbo again tomorrow and finally be done with it. Stupidly boring and repetitive grind on just two different maps for at least 45hrs each for just a 100% game. Admittedly, I got talked into this one a bit and I was also interested in the rare trophies, but if I could make that decision again, I would not go for it again. Well, now it's done at least. Good luck to anyone who still has to finish it, but they definitely have to hurry up F.E.A.R. 3 Started this one yesterday with the 4 player co-op mode and then took care of all the misc. and point trophies and today @Potent_Delusions and I quickly finished of the Insane difficulty playthrough. Nothing really caused us any problems as we are right at home with any kind of shooter game. Actually ended up getting the fastest time for the platinum, but it could definitely be massively improved if I did it again. The game itself is not really focusing on the Horror element of the Fear series and as such I would say it's definitely the weakest one of the three. However the co-op of it made this one fun to play for sure. Maybe if all the stars and planets align, we'll one day be able to play F.E.A.R 2 again So, this marks my completion of my Tier 2 list and I'm already working on deciding on my next 5 games. I think this time I will approach it more like @AuburnDRM this time and just throw some quick 100% UR games in there alongside 1 or 2 regular UR plats

Popular Post Varhur
Finished second game, Worms Battlegrounds now at 100%. 1. Dante's Inferno (0.82% full completion, rarest trophy 4.44%) - 100% ? 2. Worms Battlegrounds (1.17% platinum, 0.43% full completion) - 100% ? 3. Mortal Kombat (0.61% platinum) - 58% 4. Hive: Altenum Wars EU (0.91% platinum) - 0% 5. Greedfall (4.87% platinum) - 0% This game, I swear... If you ever played Worms, you know how aiming with everything works, you choose direction, hold the button and it goes flying. Unless you're a Worms veteran, most of the time you'll be kinda guessing where the projectile goes, because a slight difference in angle or time spent holding button can make the kill or do a bad mistake, plus mostly everything is affected by gravity. AI though? No such limits, if there's a theoretical way that they can hit you point-blank with a bazooka from another side of the map, well, hope you can take it. AI is so stupidly precise with everything that makes playing for someone who couldn't ever hit those shots is just unfun. Using video guides helped for some levels, but usually after few turns you're in a completely different scenario than video dude, so you gotta improvise and hope that enemy worms aren't on terminator mode. I might do a break now (even though it took me over a month to submit other game) and then I'll probably give Greedfall a shot. And swap Hive, don't know for what though, so for now it's allowed to stay.
