I was counting with the announcement any day... nice short completion time, too! @S_y_n_e_IR_g_Y's thread has helped so many people, it really is a fantastic source of information Anyways, you asked right when you joined why I Am Bread is not on the Most Wanted board... I hope, now that you have done both, that you understand a bit more our reasoning... Sure, IAB might be tough, but there is a difference between its challenge, and the challenge offered by the games on the Bounty-list. Multiple 10-15 minute perfect runs in SMB, a 3-4 hour perfect run in Wolf 2, extremely tight speedrun times in Splasher, frame-perfect inputs in SSFIV... you get it 1 hour ago, Joe Dubz said: My final death count total sits at 12,248; I'd be curious to see how others stacked up in that regard!! That includes going for glitched levels and going for speedruns in some levels but still, would've been twice your toll either way ? 33 minutes ago, Arcesius said: I don't remember my exact number, but I remember that it was somewhere between 10k and 12k... Your count is not bad at all! Okay interesting! I appreciate the input guys! I tried just copying and pasting the screenshot of my totals, but for whatever reason it didn't stick. Not an expert at this kind of stuff so no clue how to make that happen anyway ? @Dzware yeah those glitch levels were quite daunting, I think I only finished 2 or 3 of them. I can only imagine that added to your total quite significantly! And thank you @Arcesius, glad to know I'm in such stellar company with yourself ? 33 minutes ago, Arcesius said: That sure is a polarizing game.. many find it to be very easy, but personally I rage-quit and didn't touch it for a month after being one laser-shot away from beating Hard mode Didn't take long after I came back, but besides Pier Solar there hasn't been a game yet that made me feel as frustrated as that one run did... Yep, I don't remember struggling even half as bad in normal mode, granted this was probably well over a year ago since I played! I feel like this is another one where practice is very necessary... That and praying to RNGeezus to give you Knife and Fork in the first few levels ? Funny enough, right before I quit I was in a similar spot with that... down to the last phase with the boss, was lighting him up and then died abruptly! Ragequit and didn't pick it back up until last week! I'm determined to get it tho; soon enough we will be celebrating that victory along with your Eternal Slip victory! Edit: @Arcesius I forgot to address your reasoning for not including I am Bread in the most wanted... I am in wholehearted agreement that trying to log one fast run for that Garden level was only half as daunting as trying to get that perfect run over several different levels in SMB! Totally agree with the decision to keep those for only the toughest of the tough! I have also been eyeing up Bless Unleashed, which I have been considering for the next tier as well. I plan to make things a little easier on myself for this next tier after driving myself nuts trying to finish SMB and Downwell! Popular Post ExistentialSolid
Rive (2.78%) - 100% I was worried that Rive was going to be a generic and forgettable platformer, but, after carving my way through a sea of asteroids, infiltrating a seemingly abandoned starship, and being quickly torn apart inside anti-gravity bubbles by skywhales and electric squid, those worries were quickly laid to rest. Thrilling action set pieces assault the senses one after the other in Rive and smart level design keeps the action flowing at a breakneck pace. With tight controls and and a no-nonsense level of difficulty, I was hooked from beginning to end. Fans of games like Metal Slug or Blaster Master should definitely consider checking this one out! Popular Post Joe Dubz
Wow, and just like that I am finished with Tier 1! I guess when you're hot, you're hot! Downwell was the final challenge for this tier, and a fitting one at that to close things out ? I wasn't letting that beast of a bullet sponge boss best me again! I am stoked to be able to close this tier out without using a single swap ? The game is a very unique roguelike and an extremely good challenge at that. I would rate it 8 or 9/10 just on hard mode completion alone! Definitely gets my highest recommendations if you are up to the challenge ? Have no fear, Spoiler the kitty has been saved yet again from the bottom of the well and is now home purring in my lap ?? Tier 1: COMPLETE! Dandara (3.03%/2.26%) 100% Downwell (1.99%) 100% I am Bread (0.33%) 100%! Pixel Junk Nom Nom Galaxy (1.19%) 100%! Super Meat Boy (0.22%) 100% I suppose that closes chapter 1 in this journey thus far, and it has been a blast at that! @Mori @Copanele @Arcesius, I am very elated you guys started this challenge and have allowed me to be a part of it (sorry/not sorry for taking so much of your money thus far ??). It has made me push myself to limits I didn't even know were possible, and for that I am grateful! Now, on to the next Tier!! Here is what I have decided on: Tier 2: 10 Second Ninja X (0.66%) 0% Bless Unleashed (0.34%) 1% NOT A HERO (2.24%) 19% Rive (2.80%) 78% Surgeon Simulator (0.58%) 0% As I had done previously, I'm including a mix of new challenges, as well as cleaning up a few more from the backlog! Albeit, I didn't pick anything too crazy, a la SMB or Downwell. Although I hear Surgeon Sim is pretty brutal, it's made by the same devs as I am Bread anyway. That and Bless Unleashed is an MMORPG; new guide posted recently on PSNP slates the plat time at 250 hours, so I'll keep playing and see how things go. I've been in the mood for a good MMO anyway and I can always use one of my swaps I have yet to use if I'm not feeling it! Cheers and happy trophy hunting peeps! Popular Post Eqill5
Dropping in with my 2nd game completed from Tier 1... Cloudberry Kingdom!!!!! My desire to attempt this game began around 3 years ago, when I first came across it on someone’s profile on here. At the time I thought to myself, “I will never manage that”, so didn’t add it to my small backlog of games. However, not so long after whilst looking for a challenge, Cloudberry popped back into my head and my thoughts had changed to “Maybe I could do that”. I imagine most of you have experienced this at some point, haha. So there it sat in my backlog until December past and the time had come to truly test myself. This is actually a really fun platformer. The difficulty curve is introduced very well throughout the story, so it’s not too overwhelming. In total I had just over 14,000 deaths. Levels 1-318 (and all of the other trophies) I died around 3000 times. The real task here as I’m sure most of you are aware are the final two levels. Level 319 is considered the most difficult in the entire game, and rightly so, that damn thing took me over 8000 deaths to learn and pull off one successful run of the level! When I reached 319 I knew I had to believe in the fact that eventually, muscle memory would come in and I’d succeed. It’s very easy to doubt yourself and think you won’t manage to finish it but it’s very much possible with a little (okay, a lot) of practice! I returned to Level 320 recently, finishing the level last night, it took me just over 3000 attempts. Though it takes a bit of getting used to as you’ll be using jump techniques that have never been used on all previous levels, it is easier than 319. Here’s a video of my final run if you are interested to see it (please select HD/720p on the video as I don’t know why the original quality is so terrible, it’s my first YouTube video) Really proud to have finished this, definitely the most difficult trophy I’ve ever earned. Just wanted to say that everyone else is doing fantastic, the rate you are all going through some of these games is incredible! Keep it up! 1. F1 2017 2. Cloudberry Kingdom ✅ 3. Badland 90% 4. F1 2019 72% 5. Limbo (PS4) 0%

Popular Post Mori
Congratz! Thats definitely a tough one to complete. Id love to play it, but dont own a PS3. Though it boggles my mind, I dont know or cant imagine how you are suppose to practice these two levels. Where do you start, what do you pay attention to? There is so much going on, just watching someone else playing it hurts my brain. Id probably just yolo'd into the madness dying over and over without actually finding a reliable strat. Copa, not a plat but "merely" a Silver trophy.

That’s a shame you don’t have one, I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a physical release either so when the store closes it will be impossible to play Haha at first it does look ridiculous, there is a lot on the screen but there is a set path (mostly) for the level. Each time you die you go back to the start of the level, so to practice I started off with learning the first few jumps and watching videos of previous completists frame by frame. Visual cues are the most important as I used something on screen for every jump, such as when a laser disappears, when a fire ball moves past you, or when a spikey yellow head is about to ball into you! Each time I played I would simply try and progress one or two jumps further - or at least reach the same place!

Thank you! 319 was roughly 25 hours and 320 was roughly 15 hours! The levels are a mere 57 seconds and 1:27 seconds long! The most difficult aspect for me was to be able to practice a section quite far into the level after first reaching it, as I would have to then be consistent enough to keep reaching it, in my opinion this is what takes up the bulk of the time!

This is a roguelike game where you explore islands to find artifacts and try to escape the Bermuda Triangle. You can recruit stranded crew members on the islands for special abilities and also collect EXP/gold to upgrade your character and ship. There are 5 worlds you have to get through and each world consists of 4-6 stages depending on your rolls and a fight with a pirate at the end of each world. It was pretty fun. Also, do I have to decide my Tier 2 within a time limit? Or can I take some time to figure it out? I'm waiting to see if this session for Super Street Fighter IV I'm in to get the trophy where you need 8 players will pan out or not. I will know by next week or so.
