That completely finishes tier 1 and man let me just say that in Nuclear Throne you basically have to be a titan in order to finish it. Nothing quite like being close to the boss I need for a trophy and dying only to restart. Glad this event gave me an excuse to go back and finish it but damn it was frustrating. Anyway here is my tier 2 list

Nova-111 (2.49%) - 100%


When I first noticed the words "strategy," "turn-based," and "puzzle" being used to describe Nova-111, I kept my distance. Strategy games tend to overwhelm me and puzzle games never fail to make me feel like an idiot. Against my better judgment, and because the game had been lurking in my library for years thanks to PS+, I gave the game a shot and actually had a pretty good time with it! The strategy elements all felt manageable (your ship is like a single, overpowered chess piece) and the puzzles were clever without being outright mind-melting. If you're looking for quick and easy games to add to your tier lists, this would be a great pick! 


I will also be swapping out Sonic Mania for Don't Die, Mr. Robot (I started the game on a whim yesterday and got hooked!).
I will probably have the last of tier 4 finished in the next few days!

I´ve finally finished Vigor. Wow  had an amazing round and got the "Become a threat" trophy. you spawn with 8-12 players on a map and have to kill 4 of them. I´ve got 3 kills twice in a row but couldnt get it home. So I tried it another day and only needed 4 shots to get the trophy. the best moment was: another player used a signal detector to hunt me, but didnt saw me, ran nearly over me and lay down right in front of me. so that was an easy kill ? 

 

Also managed to get knowledge is power to 100%. One more to go to complete my first tier

Fourth game completed, Prototype now platted! Honestly, I'm gonna say that playing this game felt agonizing - unless you play the "run away and throw everything" game, enemies punish you for practically anything, Alex's tendencies to auto-jump over obstacles work awfully when you really wanna grab smth up, like object to throw or gun to use (add to that a long slide that sometimes makes getting a weapon really hard). Hunters as enemies are awful to fight against, their combos make fighting two or more of them at once miserable (Behind The Glass mission on hard was a big frustrate), dodgeroll is practically useless, because most of the enemies have attacks with range long enough to punish you for attempting to escape... Though I enjoyed a story (even if it's edgy at times) and was a big fan of web of intrigue (not finding web targets) - really reminded me of AC's glyphs, the sense of uncovering mystery and all the awful things that happened behing the scenes I've really enjoyed. But it doesn't save the game, because only thing I've found somewhat fun was freeroaming, when you're just travelling - not while being in pursuit with helicopters with homing rockets or with time pressure, just travelling. Oh and also platinum events, yeah, they're bad (though I wouldn't say that I agree with some choices of PSNP guide on what events are hard and what are easy).

 

Gonna focus on TEW DLC's now and then think of a tier 2 list. Btw @Copanele, for tier 2 games to be counted, do I have to have entire tier list prepared? Like if I've decided on 3 games to be on tier 2, but still thinking of two more and I've already finished one of the three, would I have to give quick two suggestions to fill a tier?

Congrats! You can pick 3 games, start them and think of the other 2. Decided not to bother with that rule anymore, just so you won't be forced to pick a game you won't like.

Isn’t there a big ‘always your turn’ exploit for this game? I dare to say to only reason this game is sub 1% is because it was free with Ps Plus a few years ago. So I don’t think this should be added.

 

Also if you can actually suggest something for the most wanted list I’d like to nominate a game from a genre that’s obviously missing: a JRPG.
 

The king of JRPGs: Star Ocean 4. Only the PS3 version ofcourse, can’t have people just running scripts overnight and do the grind for them ?.

I just completed its full-game no-death run, and so, Splasher has been conquered! And with it, I claim the last bounty ?

 

This was a tough one... After earning the platinum medals for each of the individual levels, I thought it wouldn't be "that bad"... But holy shit, all three full-game speedruns turned out to be extremely tough for me, especially since I often needed to stop playing in the middle of an attempt (my son waking up, my girlfriend needing help, etc..) and would then screw up when coming back to the game hours later... 

 

But it doesn't matter... The game was really fun to go for, I really enjoy speedruns and can say that I had an absolute blast with this one ?

 

Next up... Maybe one of the games you see above? Maybe I'll give another game on my list a go..? Who knows ?

Splasher looks dope, but also really difficulty with all these speedruns. Would you rate the difficulty way higher compared to SMB??

 

If i remember correctly, you still have some kind of slippy Minigame to do??‍♂️?

I have finally completed my Tier 1 list, finishing off with F1 2019!

 

 

This was actually unobtainable for a short time last year, when CodeMasters removed the features/events required for three online trophies (damn things) just before the release of the next years edition. After enough complaints and persuasion from the community they overturned their decision and added these events back to the multiplayer! Thankfully! Had they not done this, this would’ve been the only game in the F1 series that would have been unobtainable (dating back to 2010! Yes even the PS3 titles are still A-Okay). So I’m glad to have had the chance to complete it 

 

An ambitious first Tier, but it’s done.

Oh absolutely.. I found it significantly harder for a couple of reasons... Runs in SMB are rather short, and you can eliminate much of the difficulty by choosing the level order as you wish.

 

Here we are talking about a fixed level order, 45+ minutes without dying for the no-death run, or a sub-74 minute 100% run that forces you to keep a high pace while making almost no mistakes.

 

It just requires much more consistent gameplay over a much longer period of time.

Wow man, you must have been in the zone to get that far through! You can do it man, we will be here cheering you on to the finish line!! I can already envision you doing backflips once you make it to the end of the first half!

 

I'll just give a quick update on myself since I've been slacking on this challenge lately ? I'm a majority of the way through Surgeon Sim, only 5 trophies stand between me and that super sweet plat! So hopefully I will be checking back in here soon on my victory lap. 

 

I still plan to swap Bless Unleashed out for something, I'm just not quite sure what yet. Possibly Flinthook, but as of now I'm trying to pop this plat as my 10k trophy. So unfortunately I have no room left to play anything else til it's done. Oh the dumb shit we do for trophies sometimes ? Cheers guys and gals, keep killing it out there!

Shovel Knight

I had an absolute blast playing this. Both Spectre Knight and King Knight have some amazing platforming. Since both had an entire set of new levels it was like playing multiple games. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to play some platformers. King knight also had a card game build in and it is something you either like or hate and I liked it.

 

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams

I played this on the ps3 6 years ago. The dlc was missing on that so it was fun to replay the game and finish the newer levels. Definitely a bad trophy list since it requires beating all levels in hard, score, time and hardcore. Often it is possible to do multiple requirements but they won't count since it isn't the the proper mode. I will wait with the second stack for a bit.

Are there issues with the servers? If the game has a server shutdown you can only do the single player part and it will count as finished, in case you don't want to spend a swap

I saw that you did UR trophies for this game so it would be ok.

First game in Tier 3 done. Not the most polished of games but when you get a group of 4 skilled players together it’s a ton of fun.
 

I won’t swap out LBP. Finishing all the prize bubble related stuff locally is going to be a pain but I’ll manage. Thank god I finished the online when I did.

Switchblade will be shutting down on the 1.06 (potentially). The Devs didn't 100% make their minds up though.... ??‍♂️
