Popular Post ExistentialSolid
Tier 5 Update In Progress - Cloudberry Kingdom After seeing @Eqill5's recent (and incredibly impressive) completion of Cloudberry Kingdom, I've been dying to experience for myself just how ridiculous levels 319 and 320 could be...so I started playing Cloudberry Kingdom too. This was a mistake. The first 15 trophies were like a morning jog. A little bit of story mode, some tricky-but-totally-manageable arcade challenges, one 4-player trophy (I'm so glad you can wirelessly connect PS4 controllers to your PS3, otherwise I wouldn't have the "Cut the Cord" trophy ?), a save-scummable death run of chapter 1—nothing too crazy and a nice start to any day. But then we have the 16th trophy, "Shenanigans!" for clearing chapter 7. This is where my nightmare began.Labeled, "The Masochist," chapter 7 demanded waaay more patience and precision than anything I'd seen up to this point. In most platformers, you have the luxury of being able to plan your next move. You see a set of obstacles, you envision a safe route past them, and you execute. Cloudberry Kingdom makes planning your next move nearly impossible by bombarding you with so many obstacles that no ordinary human could track them all, let alone puzzle out a safe route through. The gameplay started to shift from an everyday platformer into one that is no longer humanly playable (well, at least not without an obscene amount of trial-and-error). To work my way through chapter 7, I had to purchase the "pathfinder ball" and "slow down" powerups for almost every single level just to continue playing the game. What do these powerups do? The "pathfinder ball" draws you a safe route through the level (a ball moves along the outlined route to signify where you should be standing at any point in the level) and the "slow down" reduces all movement in the level, including your character and all obstacles, to 50% speed. The gameplay became nothing more than an elaborate game of mimicry. Carefully trace the route outlined by the pathfinder ball until you reach the finish line. Do not deviate. Do not experiment. Death usually awaits those who dare to think otherwise. For the next 78 levels, I mindlessly followed the route outlined by the "pathfinder ball" until I finally made it: Level 319. The whole reason I started this game. I'll talk about this level in detail in a future post on my checklist but the short of it is this: I spent 35-40 hours on this single 1-minute level. Here's a sketchy-looking-phone-filmed video if you'd like to see my run for yourself (quality may be low by default but can be increased)!Level 319 - Featuring Pain, Existential Dread, and Self-Loathing I've since started work on level 320 and I'll report back if I make it to the end and earn the "Shenanigans!" trophy! --Extra Tier 5 Update? I'm a little unclear on the rules, but I completed Sportsfriends a few hours ago which is a "non-platinum game without DLC that has no UR trophies but a UR 100% completion." The 100% completion percentage is 4.15% so, if it counts for the event, awesome! If not, that's okay because it only took an hour or two to finish. Popular Post Joe Dubz
Alright, the grinding is done and with that, Flinthook is completed! That is game #3 done for me from Tier 2 thus far. What can I say, this game was GREAT!! I am such a huge fan of the roguelike formula and this one was enjoyable on every level. Even through the grind at the end, it kept my interest and was a blast to play! You are armed with your trusty Blasma Pistol, Gravity Belt, and Quickhook. These allow you to shoot, slow down time, and fly around the map, respectively! Once you get a feel for the controls and such, you will be flying around the levels like a lil time-stopping, hook-launching ninja! The game plays out with 4 boss runs to complete. Each features their own set of unique ships... Now these ships can have any number of modifiers on them, indicated by anomolies detected before entering one. You get your choice of 3 ships to pick from each time, so at least you have some sway in what rooms will spawn. Then you play through to the boss, whoop their ass, rinse, and repeat! In case you are curious as to what the gameplay looks like, here is a video of me killing the first boss flawlessly: Tons of fun, and even when all the other trophies were completed towards the end except for the collectibles, I was having a blast just trying to make my own fun, such as leaving all those starfish alive in that boss fight so things got crazy hectic, or the flawless run you saw above! It was interesting enough to keep me engaged the entire time, which is saying something because I suffer from self-diagnosed "Video Game ADD" ? Hell, I even managed to tie for 4th place on the leaderboards in the speedrun category! Can't say enough good things about this game and very highly recommend it! This brings us to my current progress: Tier 2: 10 Second Ninja X (0.66%) 57% Flinthook (2.44%) 100% NOT A HERO (2.24%) 100% Rive (2.80%) 78% Surgeon Simulator (0.58%) 100% We are past the halfway mark for this tier and plugging along! Probably going to tackle Rive next, or suck it up already and finish the Iron Man runs in 10SNX ?

All you have to do is get used to slide crouch/jumping. Though the next level is longer there are a few sections of idle time on platforms which offer some breathing room. If you need any advice on a particular section or just want to vent feel free to drop me a message! I have full faith in you man, go get it!!

Popular Post Copanele
Heyo there! Congrats @ExistentialSolid, your game counts since its an exception mentioned (just like Zuma). The reason why I mentioned that exception is because this game would have been UR if it had a platinum. I will update the list after I get to my laptop EDIT: Now I noticed, congrats @CriesOfFurya for making it to Tier 5, you are free as a bird now I also added Tom Clancy's HAWX as a completed game to the list Edited June 11, 2021 by Copanele
Popular Post Arcesius
Announcement-time! Hi there! I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend There have been fantastic updates in the last couple of days, of people achieving really great feats... Congratulations! I'm really happy to see that this event is motivating you guys to go after tough challenges (at least I like to think the event is partly responsible ) I have three announcements to make... Let's go! It is June... We don't even have reached half-time, and are already at incredible 1'171€ raised! That's right... Not only do we have way more participants that we anticipated (which is very awesome!), but also you guys have gone wild with completing games from the Most Wanted list... Now, we have an upper limit of 1'500€ which should be reached pretty soon I guess... Obviously we will keep track of your points past the upper limit, since we use that number for your ranking, but the motivation might not be the same once that cap has been reached. So... @da_eMTy reached out to me and he is contributing to the cause himself! That is, he is starting a "participant's pot" with 200€, effectively raising the donation cap to currently 1'700€! Thanks a lot, really appreciate your contribution! I know that a couple of you guys already announced that you would like to contribute as well... If, at this point, you already know the amount you'd like to contribute, and you want to commit to that already... feel free to either tag me here or send me a PM with the amount you'd like to contribute with... I would then add all of your contributions to the "participant's pot", and the cap would so be raised further In addition, @da_eMTy is putting the following expired Bounties back on the board: 4x5€ for Super Meat Boy and 1x15€ for Splasher. Go grab them! (@Copanele could you add the new bounties to the OP, and list the separate "participant pot" there as well? ) Since we are genuinely overwhelmed by your effort and motivation, and the "swap system" has been cause for grief (yeah, I'm exaggerating, I know ?), we have decided that everyone will be getting 5 additional swaps once 1'500€ have been reached! We'll probably reach that amount soon enough And one last thing... Great news everyone! We are getting badges! That's right.. @Spacey Dweeb and myself have been brainstorming about possible designs and artstyles, and after discussing a couple of drafts, the next step is to realize the badge. This will be done over the next couple of weeks, we are not in a hurry. Maybe this adds even more motivation: The badge might or might not have details that are colored differently based on the Tier you are in by the end of the event... ? That being said, any participant that has completed at least one game by the time the event ends will get a badge Thanks A LOT Spacey for your time and effort! Really appreciate it, and I'm sure all participants will as well! That's it from me for now Take care everyone, and keep having fun! Popular Post Joe Dubz
Seriously tho, this is fantastic and I've been very happy to be a part of this! Such a wonderful event for a great cause, and the hosts are top notch guys in my book ? It's amazing that we're already so close to the limit, and even better we have other contributers as well. I'd like to make a small donation myself, so I will be in touch soon in that regard. This has been such a blast to be a part of, keep killing it out there my peeps ?

I'm also basically done with Dead Cells, I only need to grind some blueprints for the plat, which I'll do at some stage, but it's not my priority at the moment. Then I'll be onto tier 5 finally lol.

Also big shoutout to @CriesOfFurya for doing the co-op run with me and making the challenge and score related trophies painless. The next game is also going to be finished very soon since I have already done all the competitive online trophies for battlefield 3. I would also like to swap SSX with Shift 2 Unleashed. I want to finish it before the server closure. Also an update for Mortal Kombat which is going to be a tier 2 game. I'm halfway through the grind with 14/28 characters mastered. Popular Post Evil_Joker88
Yeah here i am. 4th game completed. I did play Call of Juarez Gunslinger back in 2013 after it came to ps+ and the story was funny, changing around a lot after what the narrator talks. Getting 10 missions with highscore done wasn't funny though but only training helped memorizing where the enemies appear to shoot them quickly and with style. A few hours of repeating those missions but i made it through Completed: Rocket League World War Z Quantum Theory Call of Juarez Gunslinger Unfinished: The Last Guardian

Popular Post SlimSanta94
3rd tier 2 game done: Jump King 12th achiever Difficulty - 5/5 - 3.5/5 with save scumming Enjoyment - 2.5/5 It's finally over.. 21 playthroughs and thousands upon thousands of cloud saves later. Overall, this is a pretty fun game to play casually but no matter how you choose to go about it the trophies will be an incredibly frustrating and difficult experience. Cannot stress this enough, DO NOT play this game for trophies. I don't feel fulfilled in the slightest and in the end, my real prize were the 21 smoking hot babes I met along the way. In terms of difficulty, if you couldn't save scum the entire game, this would absolutely be on par with cloudberry kingdom and VVVVVV in terms of difficulty. This game is incredibly difficult to play without save states.
