Popular Post Yuber6969
After days of grinding and literally about 1000 deaths, I got all of the gold prizes in Catherine. I take back what I said about recommending this game. Despite it's masterpiece of a story, this has been the worst experience I've had as a trophy hunter. And I still need to do the last 3 stages of Babel. 1. BlazBlue: Centralfiction (3.57% UR) - 100% 2. BlazBlue: Continuum Shift (2.73% UR platinum, 1.79% UR full completion) - 100% 3. BlazBlue: Chronophantasma (2.98% UR platinum; 2.19% UR full completion) - 100% 4. Battle Fantasia (0.59% UR) - 18% 5. I’ve heard that it’s pretty good and I saw Deck13 say they learned a lot between games. Interestingly enough, I just heard recently there is a Lords of the Fallen 2 sequel coming, but it’s being developed by an entirely different team (CI Games I think?) and they’re promising to make a lot of changes and fixes to things that didn’t work out so well in the first one. The devs recently tweeted out that “the upcoming sequel moves the franchise to a dark fantasy setting, and introduces a fully revised and more challenging combat system.” They say it is their biggest project to date and they are hoping it could be successful enough to become a franchise. What do you guys think? Is this enough to get you to give it a shot when it drops? Oh man... yeah, the game is fun to laugh AT, not fun to play ? Good luck with the DLC... What a piece of crap ? I will definitely play Lords of the Fallen 2. The reason being that Deck13 have actually shown that they are capable of putting together a decent game. The Surge is a lot of fun. The Surge 2 is also pretty good, although the difficulty is way too low for a game like that (probably the easiest souls-like I've played to date). But I enjoyed both games a lot. If they can make a game like that, but keep the fantasy setting from Lords of the Fallen... Yeah, I think they might actually put together a pretty good game
dertswa687o
Can I just list one game for my tier 2 (Amplitude) and use swaps for any more that I complete? I know that's not how the event was designed but also: 1. I have no idea which UR game I'm going to tackle next (if even any more this year). 2. I have 9 swaps. 3. There's no fundamental difference between me doing that or just listing 4 random games and swapping them later.

This is the reason I'm really glad I played the PS3 version, you only need to get the golds on Hard so it's way less of a grind.... on the downside, it's harder (no item in Babel, no rewind on hard), and you don't get the extra content (RIN). Either way, grats on getting through it Yuber!
Popular Post ShadyWARcotix
Finally finished Shadow Warrior 2. I liked both games but wasn't a fan of the story in this one but the gameplay and the weapons were awesome. Can't wait for Shadow Warrior 3 and btw. The trophy guide isn't updated so anyone who wanna start this this game believe me it isn't 50 hours long. It's shorter because of the new usb trick which isn't updated in the trophy guide. So I would say the platinum for this game is between 25 -30 hours long. Tier 2: - Puppeteer (4.33%)- 100% - Uno (4.74%) - 100% - GTA V (PS4) - 96% - Shadow Warrior 2 (4.65%) - 100% - The Evil Within - not started

The main issue is that the enemies inflict magic damage there and you get the magic defence set in the very same DLC. OnNG++ I expect the enemies to one shot you at every step And yes the final DLC boss has an instakill move but it can be dodged. That boss was kinda the only good part of the game for me Ok good to know, thanks! I’m glad I decided to back up an earlier save for this exact reason. Yeah, I think they might actually put together a pretty good game That’s the interesting thing though… Deck13 is not actually involved in the development! I saw Deck13 commenting directly on a YouTube video review of LotF recently where they confirmed this. Apparently CI Games opened a new studio called Hexworks and passed the project off to them. According to what I read, CI Games is hailing LotF2 as their biggest and most ambitious project to date and are hoping it will be a big success and turn into their next big franchise. By all accounts, they are making a lot of positive changes and addressing the issues that people had with the first game, which is welcome news. But I’m wondering if the baggage of being tied to the first Lords of the Fallen game in people’s minds will end up weighing the project down right from the start? It might be hard to hype consumers up for a sequel to a game that had really mediocre reception, especially if people assume it’s made by the same devs. On the other hand though, the gaming landscape has changed significantly since LotF was first released. Back then it was apparently criticized very heavily for ripping off Dark Souls, whereas nowadays this is no longer seen as a bad thing, the ‘Soulslike’ genre has boomed, and people will happily eat up any Dark Souls clones they can get their hands on. So either way it should be interesting!

Well, unusual is one polite way to put it Would have been the same effort to just name four games instead of listing the three reasons, but you can just play Amplitude. The other games will be placeholders and if you want to complete any other game on the list you'll burn a swap. 13 hours ago, dieselmanchild said: That’s the interesting thing though… Deck13 is not actually involved in the development! So either way it should be interesting! Ah I see... Well that's how well I keep up with gaming news ? Independently of it, I think the team will definitely not make the same mistakes with the sequel. Also, while I agree that "soulslike" titles are widely spread now, even if LotF came out tomorrow, it would still receive the same treatment it did when it came out for real. It's not only that it rips off Dark Souls... It's barely a functional game, with slow as fuck combat that does not feel satisfying in the slightest. So while there might be people, as you suggest, that probably skip the sequel due to how bad the first game was.. I will approach it with an open mind and low expectations and see what happens ? P.S. As for my own progress... I'm currently playing my last game of Tier 3: RAD. The game was fun for the first 10 hours or so. It is a stylish rogue-like, but holy shit is it grindy. I'm currently trying to break the game, and if it works it should save me 40+ hours... If it doesn't work... Well then I guess I see you all next year ? Popular Post AuburnDRM
Thanks to the multiplayer update and some friends getting into the game and lighting a fire under my ass, I've finally finished up Tetris Effect! This marks my second, and hopefully not last, bounty of the event. I'm not too well-versed in Tetris overall, so this was quite the challenge to overcome to get SS everywhere. Sprints were by far the hardest for me--I barely scraped by being only 0.04 seconds under the required time (hey, I'll take it!). Otherwise, Ultra scoring was rough as I had to learn some setups for T-spins in order to even stand a chance. Everything else was fairly easy to pick up and enjoy. I played some of the multiplayer co-op with some friends on the maniac mode and that proved to be a much bigger challenge than I imagined. It takes dangerous modifiers that Tricky Towers has and turns it up a few notches. Overall, the game is fantastic and I strongly recommend it to anybody who has an interest in Tetris or neat audiovisual experiences. Edit: Oh right, the grind was such a pain! Tetromino rotations took 13+ hours using the base version of the game, remote play, and a keyboard macro to spin my piece. After that, I had 7 player levels left which took at least 5 more hours of playing to finish up. Next, I'll probably be chilling with the literal hundreds of levels in Slime-San and playing some Tales of Arise. After that, I might revisit the pain that is Trials Fusion and finish those last few challenges. Recent Completion: Tetris Effect (0.47%) Added: Slime-San (3.06%) Ongoing games: Spoiler Trials Fusion (0.1%) -- The last few challenges are very daunting and I'll need to be in the right mood for this Cloudberry Kingdom (0.09%) Jump King (3.08%) Fenix Furia (1.57%) -- Buggy mess. Popular Post Miles
Update time I guess... I finally made some serious progress in this tier, obtaining Crypt of the Necrodancer platinum last month. Last trophy that I needed was "Lowest of the Low" aka beating all 9 characters in a row without picking up any items or using shrines. It was really hard to grind this trophy out towards the end, mostly because of Monk, a character that dies if he steps on gold. Things can get quite messy with him and clearing him can be very boring and RNG dependent. I thought I had him down a while ago so I put him towards the end of the hardest four characters and that was a mistake ? I cleared first 3 chars soo many times just to die on that guy it's insane. Overall he didn't seem bad to me, but when I had to do him as one of my last chars I'd play like an idiot or get swarmed etc... but the time has come and I decided to change my order putting him second. That's the day I cleared the whole run. At first I was unsure if this challenge would be harder than beating Coda, and now I'd say it is by a little. For Coda, you only need to play well (well, almost flawlessly) for about 10 minutes, but with low% you need to be patient and focused throughout the whole 2-3 hours of the run and be able to flawlessly handle every possible situation. Had a lot of fun with this game at the end of the day and I recommend it to anyone seeking a real challenge. Now all I have left in order to fully complete this, is a DLC trophy for clearing 13 characters in a row. I'll start practicing it next month when I have more time, it shouldn't be too bad after all this. As for Futuridium, not much progress, didn't particularly enjoy it when I played it but I did get the Flappy bird trophy or whatever it's called. It was pretty awful, just praying for a good pattern. Also been working on Cloudberry Kingdom recently, trying to tackle the infamous level 319. After roughly 8 hours of struggle, I managed to survive about half of the level. It's a very unique challenge so far...

Popular Post Dzware
Finished 2 more games this week Blazblue Continuum Shift Extend was my very first fighting game platinum, and actually had some fun with, at least with the first half of my playing time. Doing the missions was pretty fun, especially cause I only had to do 5-6 missions per character, which is about where it started to get challenging for me. Practicing the character specific misc trophies and figuring out some of those combos was fun as well, some were a bit tricky, but overall nothing too bad here. The rest of the game is a bit of a slog though, there's way too much mindless grind, having to unlock the complete gallery (takes some time, but pretty straightforward) and also unlocking every item in Abyss mode, which was a very annoying RNG grind. Abyss mode at the start wasn't so bad, and a bit of a challenge to clear depth 999, but after getting enough OP items, it's just a very long braindead grind hoping to get the last few items I needed for the last trophy. Also completed Conan Exiles today, saw that the DLC has a few UR trophies, so I guess it also counts for this event. Don't really want to waste any more words on this tbh. Tier 5 Nova-111 (Vita, 2.51%) - 100% TorqueL (PS4, 0.87%) - 100% Blazblue CS Extend (Vita, 1.09%) - 100% Conan Exiles (PS4, 0.28%) - 100%

Popular Post Mori
Verdun done and Tier 2 finished. Verdun was an 100 hour waste of time. It's the worst game I have played so far, I dont even wanna talk about it. Only good thing everything is boostable. Thanks to @Koro249 for suffering through this with me. As for Tier 3, I am going back to games I swapped out before or already started. Edited September 11, 2021 by Mori
