Popular Post FrediPy_
Yakuza 0 done! Tier 1 Downwell (2.03%) - 73% Splasher (2.31%) - 0% Surgeon Simulator (0.59%) - 47% Thumper (3.27%) - 100% Yakuza 0 (4.08%) - 100% An amazing game to discover what I think will be an amazing series for me. Fantastic plot, a lot of good secondary content, some really bad secondary content, and many, many hours into it. I wrote some brief thoughts here if anyone wants to have a look at them After the long Yakuza grind, I'll try to finish Downwell now, hopefully by next week. I "just" have to finish hard mode, which has a very fitting name, but I'm slowly getting there!
Popular Post Joe Dubz
Another update for me, as I was able to check Kero Blaster off the list last night!! This was a superb game recommended to me by @Dreggit, so thank you very much for the excellent suggestion on this one ? Thank you kindly for your excellent tips and videos, as well as @greenzsaber for your superb walkthrough video ? The game was incredibly fun, it's a platforming shooter of sorts, with an old-school, NES sort of feel to it. You eventually unlock 4 (maybe 5?! ??) weapons you can use, each able to be upgraded and unique in its own way. Each playthrough isn't exactly long, per se. However the true challenge lies within both needing to complete your 1st 2 runs deathless and without health upgrades, but even more so when it comes to needing to finish the game wearing the Jacket item; in a nutshell, it's just a piece of armor that lets you take a hit of damage. However, one hit and that's it... It's gone! Fortunately you are given the Jacket again pretty late into the game, so you'll need to beat the last 2 bosses in both Normal mode & Zangyou (hard) mode flawlessly... This is much more difficult than it sounds, as each set of bosses are no joke! As for the not dying part, it's pretty easy to just keep copying your save file to another slot every so often, in case a mishap happens. The last part of the journey involves completing Omaki mode again with the Jacket. This is basically NG+ so you are overpowered, however the end of this mode contains a Boss Rush, meaning you have to flawlessly complete it to arrive at the end while still keeping your sweet-looking jacket intact! It was a really good challenge overall and I have no qualms rating this one an 8/10 on the difficulty scale. I recorded my Boss Rush run last night, in case anyone is curious: At any rate, the game was mad fun and gets my highest recommendations! This brings us to my Tier 4 list progress: Tier 4: Cryptark (3.67%) 100 % Slain: Back from Hell (3.82%) 100% Super Meat Boy Forever (3.47%) 100% Kero Blaster (3.87% for the %) 100% Slime-san (2.18%) 5% Just one more game away from joining all you elites in Tier 5! I actually got started on Slime-san last night... The game is extremely enjoyable and criminally underplayed it would appear!! It's another platformer with some interesting mechanics to master, but I can tell it's not going to be easy by any means... It contains a whopping 66 trophies total, a vast majority of which are UR ?? Anyway, I hope to see you all at the finish line here soon enough, cheers! Popular Post Thedah
Tier 4: Yakuza 4 (PS3) - 0% Yakuza 0 - 100% Axiom Verge - 100% Yakuza Kiwami - 100% Slain: Back From Hell - 100% Yakuza Kiwami done! After doing Yakuza 0 and learning all the minigames, this was a breeze! I'm gonna go through the whole series so I'm gonna swap in Yakuza 4 for PS3. I'm surprised it's ultra rare considering I've heard it's an easy one. Also I find that the PS5 time played tracker is extremely buggy. It says I've spent 68 hours on Yakuza 0 and 40 hours on Yakuza Kiwami. I definitely spent way more time than that. Popular Post willythom88
Ok, got number 3 down. Jackbox Party Pack 7 is much easier than the others. You still need to play into luck a bit, especially with Secret Schmitty. Overall, not a terrible list though. I will say while some of the Jackbox's have ridiculous trophies in terms of number of participants (Split the Room back on Jackbox 4 I think it was comes to mind), I didn't need more than 4 this time, which is very nice. I'll be using one more swap, but only because the PS3 I was playing Fancy pants on got wiped, and I'm not going through all that again right now just for the couple I have left. Jackbox PArty PAck 3 - 100% Metrico - 100% Jackbox PArty PAck 7 - 100% Outland - 52% Fancy Pants Adventure - 80% - Super Monkey Ball Blitz HD - PS4 - 4.50% Currently at 0% Batman Arkham City - 40%

Popular Post ExistentialSolid
Tier 5 Update - Project DIVA Dreamy Theater Extend I'm not sure if I've ever seen a game this nightmarish... to set up. See, unlike anything else on the "Most Wanted" list, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Dreamy Theater Extend has an expensive, and hilariously convoluted, barrier to entry. Here's what you need just to get the game running on a PS3: - PSP (updated to 6.61) - Memory Stick Duo - Project Diva Extend (PSP) - 100% save file from PDE - JP PSN Account w/Yen Card - Digital JP Copy of PDDTE Basically, I ordered a PSP and a copy of Project Diva Extend off eBay (pic when they both arrived), played PDE until I passed all 36 of the songs on Normal and Hard difficulty (pic when I finished), made a JP PSN account, purchased a 5,000¥ PSN card, followed a helpful YouTube video which guided me in buying Project Diva Dreamy Theater Extend on the JP PSN store, transferred my 100% PDE save file into PDDTE, and finally... started to play the actual game. ? So, with the game all set up, what is it about this cute Vocaloid rhythm game that makes it so challenging? Well, one trophy demands that you get a "Perfect" (basically a full-combo) on each of the game's 36 songs on Extreme difficulty. If you're new to Project DIVA, expect to spend between 100-200 hours to develop the skill needed to take on this challenge. Thanks to all of my prior Project Diva Future Tone experience (1,100+ hours and Top 10 on Overall Extreme Clear% FS / CT) the hardest song in the game, Two-Faced Lovers on Extreme difficulty, took about 30 minutes to Perfect (pic). Most of the remaining difficult songs fell in 10-20 minutes with one notable exception, The Singing Passion of Hatsune Miku. Singing Passion features a monstrous 256 note spam in the latter half of the song that took me about an hour and a half to come to grips with. The speed, roughly 13 button taps per second, takes a lot of practice to match while the three transitioning points, which required me to move each of my thumbs from one button to the next while maintaining the same mashing speed, need to be "felt out" since counting the notes was out of the question. It was one of the most invigorating charts I've experienced in a rhythm game and I loved every minute I spent with it (completion pic). Since I couldn't film my experience with the game being on PS3, I'll leave links of other players getting the hardest songs done if you'd like to check them out for yourself [Singing Passion (spam at 1:56) // Two-Faced Lovers (hardest overall)]. Because I hadn't popped any trophies before completing all of the game's hardest songs, I figured it might be fun to try to speedrun the game's trophy set while I was at it. For the sake of not dragging this update on too long, I won't go in-depth with the prep required to complete it, but I managed a 1st place spot on the Fastest Achievers board when all was said and done! Here's one last pic from my final moments with the game. I will probably finish a few more smaller games before the event ends, but this is the last big one from me. I've had a lot of fun participating with everyone and look forward to taking it easy on all the soul-destroying stuff next year! Thank you all! ? Popular Post Joe Dubz
Woohoo... Just like that, Tier 4 is complete! I finished Slime-san just now, and boy I definitely underestimated this one... There aren't any crazy deathless runs like the SMB franchise, so not quite that crazy difficult or anything, but I still give it a 7/10, as some of those levels were ridiculously tricky. I guess that helps explain why 50/66 trophies in the game are UR! There are a shit-tonne of levels to play! 202 on the main campaign, 52 on "dlc" #1, then 24 more on "dlc" #2... Each level having collectibles and par times to complete, among some other random trophies that need gettin'! I did run into a snafu where it glitched out on me too, where I bought 4/5 arcade games that you need, then stashed my save file and quit for the night, heeding @zajac9999's post from a few years back saying his save file glitched out on him... But next day when I booted her up, one of the games was still locked and there are only enough coins to buy them once! This was after the first 100 levels were done with all collectibles grabbed and 3/5ths of the par times beaten ? It only took me 4 or so hours to get back to where I was, but still sucked ass nonetheless! Despite all this, the game is still mad fun tho and gets my recommendations, just be careful with those fkn arcade games glitching out on you! I have also been asked by a friend to collaborate on a Trophy Guide for it, so keep your eyes out for that in the next week or 2 ?? Just for funsies and in case this sounds interesting to you, here is my speedrun for a needed trophy time through one of the ridiculous "special levels": Just for proper posture, here is my completed Tier progress: Tier 4: Cryptark (3.67%) 100 % Slain: Back from Hell (3.82%) 100% Super Meat Boy Forever (3.47%) 100% Kero Blaster (3.87% for the %) 100% Slime-san (2.18%) 100% I guess that means I've reached Tier 5, so I'll save you all from me posting each game I complete and just check back every once in a while once I get a few done! I have 1 definite game in mind for next, then a few others I'd like to try and complete. I've even been thinking of starting either Crypt of the Necrodancer or Badlands at some point, but I have a feeling I will regret it ? Plus I'd like to save those for next year's competition, in the event that it will come back... Besides, it's not like I'd be able to finish CotN before year's end even if I started now, as I'm sure that would take me a bare minimum of 1k hours to perfect if I even make it that far! On Deck: Skul: The Hero Slayer (I just realized this hasn't been out for 2 months yet, so won't be eligible for this event if I finish it in the next 4 weeks! But still UR as of now and I plan on playing it regardless) Coming Up Next: Hyper Light Drifter Future Potentials: Crypt of the Necrodancer Badlands The Escapists 2 Nuclear Throne Okay, I've been blabbing for hours and probably already lost your attention paragraphs ago! A HUGE THANK YOU to the amazing hosts, @Arcesius, @Copanele, and @Mori for allowing me to be a part of this. It's been a blast and a privilege hanging out with all you amazing and skilled gamers out there, whether you've finished 1 game or 40 like some peeps almost have done at this point! Take care everyone, happy holidays to you all, and keep killing it out there ? Edited November 20, 2021 by Joe Dubz

It's been a while since I posted here. I'm back with good news: I finally got the SMB platinum trophy! Wow, what an adventure. I had no experience in this kind of game, but the curiosity was too strong. So I discovered what SMB had to offer, and I can assure you that I became addicted in less than a week. I can only recommend this wonderful game to all those who have never played it, even if you don't intend to go platinum SMB is excellent. Whether it's the gameplay or the atmosphere. The whole game is accessible to all players, but the no-death runs can quickly become a real nightmare. After about a hundred hours of play and 14,000 deaths, "Impossible boy" just fell, and the platinum at the same time. No lie, I'm really proud to have been able to add this platinum to my collection, and it's probably one of the hardest things I've done since I've been hunting trophies. It seems to me that there are still bounties left for SMB, so, bounty claimed. It's time for me to start Wipeout Omega Collection, hoping to finish my Tier 1 by the end of the year ahaha.

You have earned my respect, whatever that's worth. I first played SMB back in 2010 on Steam and I've been a huge fan since. So seeing someone (actually multiple people over this event) knock this bad boy out. Huge props. I've worked on every one of these in the past week, and I think I know which one if going to mess me up. Outland - This is just grinding, which I've been working on. I kept dying during the last boss, so I decided to finish, at least, the little pick ups to make the last fight a joke. Then I'll endlessly grind the last 600 or so thousand coins I need. Should be good before mid-December. Batman - I'm about halway done with the Riddler trophies, and I just need to go back and get the balloons in the Harley Quinn DLC. My toes are in the water for the medals, but I'm saving them for last. Also, The AR challenges can bite me. Why do I do this to myself - Super Monkey Ball - The issue here is the Time Trial runs for me. The grinding of the Time Trial and Decathalon are stupid, but they are just grinds. However, beating every level in the game (a long with every boss) is going to be stupid. I didn't notice the trophy when I first listed this, so that's on me. Jackbox Party Pack 3 - 100% Metrico - 100% Jackbox Party Pack 7 - 100% Outland - 52% -> 90% Super Monkey Ball Blitz HD - PS4 - 0% -> 14% Batman Arkham City - 40% -> 59% Side Note - I already have my list prepped for the start of next year. Bunch of stuff I don't wanna swap in now cause it's going to be long. I've begun a spreadsheet to cover the various reasons I failed this year, and I think I have a solid Tier 1 for next year. I'll post another update beginning of Dec/When I finished something. Edited November 20, 2021 by willythom88
Popular Post VirtualNight
A quick update mainly to add a 5th game to my tier 3. I take the chance to report a minor error @Copanele, since I finished 2 tiers I should have 10 games cleared, not 9. The amount of money is correct though. Regarding my current tier, I did some good progress since I now have Splasher ready to be milestoned at this point. In all honestly it wasn't as bad as I thought, I found Super Meat Boy and V6 harder than it as well. My full tier 3: Splasher (2.37%) - 87% Trials Fusion (0.10%) - 13% Shiness The Lightning Kingdom (1.77%) - 0% Battlezone (0.23% / 0.23%) - 93% Metal Gear Survive (2.12%) - 0% I already know that Metal gear is going to be a trash game, what convinced me to buy it is only the fact that it is in the Metal Gear series.
