One of mine is wrong - just because I swapped Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime to Wasteland 2 yesterday at the last minute (so that's more my bad)

I also managed to snag my first platinum today. Trackmania Turbo. This game has been on my 'to finish' list for far too long. Glad i went back and finally got it. Also my 250th plat.

Could you do a profile sync when you have some time? I can't find Hopiko on your profile and Dandara still isn't complete. 

Either that or my internet is acting up big time.

Hey there! Unfortunately you have to sign up with an unfinished game  Even if you finished Call of Duty in 2021 , it was before signing up for the event.

So like an idiot I ended up finishing one of my ultra rare games literally 2 days before the new year. I don't want to cheat and count that towards my goal so I am going to switch out Steamworld Dig for SuperhotVR. I edited my original post to reflect those changes

Could I use for my first Wolfenstein II even if I am only missing one trophy from main game and the dlcs? (The mein leben one specifically)

And what about stuff like hitman 2 or project diva future tone? They have low rarity but most of its content is behind DLCs

Hah no problem, it happens  added the modification. You still have 1 swap since well...you finished that game before the start of the event.

Sure, Wolfenstein 2 is accepted, even if you have Mein Leben only  . However you have to do the DLC also, as long as it's not delisted or anything.

Hitman 2 and Project Diva sadly do not count. Had they been without DLC and UR completion, they would have counted. But since it's the DLC that give their rarity here (and no trophy there is an UR), they don't really work for this event.

I'm happy to report i also completed my first game for this year, Shadow of Mordor.

 

I started playing it spontaneously after seeing the servers would go down and gameplay-wise it was about what i expected. Assassins Creed-esque open world game with stealth and a lot to collect/complete across the map.

Usually not my type of game but since I consider myself quite the LOTR fan I thought I'd give it a go. 

I specifically enjoyed the hunting portion with Torvin and the very unique enemy system providing a wide variety of interesting orcs one more ugly than the other.

 

Challenge-wise it was really easy to complete, I would say a 2/10, besides the 2 trials from each dlc, which pretty much require you to kill all the captains and warchiefs of one map in a very short time period (40 and 60 minutes respectively) with some extra tasks to complete along the way.

Luckily, there are many guides on YouTube by now that you can follow step by step, making these very bearable and I didn't need more than 2-3 tries for each trial despite some parts of it being quite RNG dependant. 

All in all a good game but I am in no rush to play Shadow of War and I think there are many people out there that would enjoy it more than I did.

 

Next up, I think I finally found the motivation to go back FIFA 18 which i have been nagging at for an entire year now. I just hate my past self for putting this game on my profile back when I didn't care about trophies but I'm sure this event will give me the boost I need to finally take it off my list.
