Corrupted save file

Just wondering if anyone else experienced this? I was nearing the end when the file was corrupted and had to be wiped. Bummer. The game is okay, just not one I want to play all over again this soon.

Well not in this game, but happened to be with Borderlands, a lot of hours for nothing, delete, and start again and now, with all my games, I am obsessed with saving all the time and sometimes double lol

Even if a game appears perfectly fine, always backup your save once you're either done playing for the day or have made a lot of progress, else you will regret it if something goes wrong and your save gets wiped. I always have 2-3 backups on the go: 1 to the PS Plus save file cloud, 1 to the internal cross-save cloud (if there is one) and 1 to a USB drive.

Hello?! Sometimes you?! That game on the Visa needs a patch! The problem with the game is clearly in the save file. Looks like I have to start the game all over again.

yeah it's a real pain i keep saving to ps plus cloud. without ps plus account this is almost impossible to complete

Glad I read this. The game is fun, but upgrading the equipment is tedious. Don’t want to have to go through that again. And it keeps crashing every hour or so. Gonna back up my save now to prevent future heartbreak.

 

Edit: Literally the next day I came back to the game and it wanted me to start a new game and I could not continue. Backing up the save is the way to go. Done it twice since then.
