Sofa King Posted December 25, 2020 Share Posted December 25, 2020 Got some cash, gift cards, and some clothes. A George Foreman grill and a deep fryer along with some food storage containers. Some Funko Pops including 10 inch ones of the Mandolorian and Grogu. My mom found a wooden Ewok nutcracker, weird combo but it's pretty nice. Odds and ends stuff like deodorant, some candy, etc. And some friends from work got me a 1.75 liter of Jack Daniel's whisky. This'll be my first Christmas in 12 years without my wife and daughter, it's very hard emotionally. But I'm managing to keep my spirits up and just gonna get lost in some games. I gifted myself an Alienware Aurora R11 PC with 10th Gen i9, 32 GB RAM, and a Nvidia RTX 3080. My current AW is 4 years old and still running decent, but I figured it was time to upgrade. On my current PC I did have fall back to 1080p and turn a few settings down for Cyberpunk 2077... maybe the new one can max it and run 1440p. I have to do an exchange on RDR and RDR2 because they sent me the UK versions, though. For Christmas, we do three gifts each plus stocking stuffers. I got this diamond/white gold purity ring that has a script engraving inside the band which says "1 Thessalonians 4:3-4," a lifetime subscription to Rosetta Stone for Latin American Spanish (useful for business), Hebrew and Greek (for reading the Bible), and Irish (for fun), and about 100 Pokémon cards from the second generation Neo series to work on finishing my collection.
