Beyondthegrave07 Posted December 31, 2020 Share Posted December 31, 2020 The whole introduction of Nier Automata where you play as 2B and fight the giant robot boss and self destruct at the end just set up the world so perfectly and was just jaw-dropping. Switching between angles to make it a twin stick shooter, side scroller, top down fighter, and 3D hack in slash game was just mind-blowing. The spotlight flashing across the screen as the main theme hits to make the logo. The way that theme transitions to the bombing mission music by sounding like a train slowing down. It all comes together to just be *chefs kiss* The Remake intro doesn't have those two bit, which always irrationally irked me just a little tiny bit.
