Why you loose your treasures if you go to the main hub?! Jesus christ.

 

I died 2 times on floor 20 so the question appeared: "Would you like to retry? keep in mind that you'll loose half of your treasures" And I said no, bc I wanted 150 treasures (130 I had), so that transported me to the hub with just 80 trophies and having to keep going from floor 16 ? 

 

 

Good night ppl, I'll try again on Sunday. I just play this game twice a week to not get bored so easily as you do the same over and over again. Keep the variety

Just got the platinum for this game, and the candy tax was by far the most upsetting part about this game. However, I do have some tips, that might help you (if its not too late) or any other future readers. 

 

While playing through the main game, just focus on getting through the levels, dont stress about treasure too much. If you get it, great, if not oh well. So when you were on floor 20, you should've just kept going and not even worried about treasure count. This is because once you hit floor 80+ the amount of treasure increases substantially. So its best to just run through the dungeons, fight what you have to, avoid damage, and do as little as you can to exit. Do this until a boss holds you up and feel like you really need a level up or two. This shouldn't be too much of an issue since no boss poses any great difficulty other than the final boss. They may just taks a few tries to master.

 

Once you're through the main game, I replayed levels 81-85 over and over again, being able to yield 6-700 treasure just running through and picking up whats on the ground. Level up all characters stats except imagination 2, as this costs 700. Once all your characters are leveled, obtain 700 treasure, upload your save to the cloud, and cloud spam. Get one trophy, and reload your save. ^_~  itll save you having to get an extra 4900 treasure.

 

You could take cloud saving to another level and possibly save yourself even more time if you save quests for last, apart from Princess Bubblegums quests. All the side characters will eventually reward you with a ticket for a free level up in each stat, for doing their quests. So, to save even more time, you could level your characters first, leaving the last level in each stat to be unlocked through said reward ticket. Once your characters are leveled, go do the quests, get the reward tickets, upload save to the cloud, and you know the rest.

 

Hope this helps with Candy Tax!! As for freezing issues the offline method is by far the best way to go, even disabling the connection seemed to help. Also, at the end of each dungeon, let all items tally up!! If you press x through it too fast it seems to cause issues.

 

P.s. I always hit  Triangle  in front of Princess Bubblegum before reentering the dungeon, you should try it
