Abby_TheLastofUs
Two months ago, the senior concept artist for Naughty Dog shared these images, saying they were inspiration for a new game. The artist could have been referring to getting inspired by new games (Assassin's Creed Valhalla) to do some fantasy art, or Naughty Dog could be working on a fantasy game. Apollo
They seem to be rather Dragon Age-esque, IMO.
Popular Post Sendai-Horatio
I dunno, ND kinda shot their reputation with TLOU2. Sony had to have Tsushima be launched earlier than expected so the game could cover for TLOU2 losses. I think ND may wind up being like Raven Software at this point and just exist to help finish other studios games. sepheroithisgod
An RPG from ND would be cool due to the amazing detail they put into their environments, but I just hope it has a better story than TLOU2, then again, that's the only story from the company I didn't enjoy, so I still have a lot of faith in them. snakebit10
I am sure whatever Naughty Dog does create next it will be a success. I personally would like to see them take a shot a FPS game.

Honestly pathetic how anything that mentioned ND in a thread half the comments are again babies moaning about TLoU2. The topic is about a potential new IP by them. Some of you have some really deep seated issues if after all this time you're still going on and on about TLoU2. Now to actually go on topic. I would be interested in ND bringing a Dragon's Dogma-esque game. Edited January 19, 2021 by Stevieboy clean up

I wasn’t a huge fan of the storyline for TLOU2 but I would absolutely purchase naughty dogs next title because I know that the finished product will be exceptional quality and worth my time. TLOU came from naughty dog and it was their right to decide how the story went. Agree or not it’s hard not to respect the quality of their games.
Popular Post DaivRules
Am I the only one think it would be cool if it ends up being a turn based strategy game with characters like those conceptual images? Yeah... probably

If you're gonna bait, at least do it correctly... they don't make them like they used to anymore. Edited January 19, 2021 by BRKs_Eagle As much as the idea of a Mii Lion sounds interesting, I meant a "million." So yeah, fixed that.

It also had an incredibly large advertising budget compared to the other exclusives, a very very long development time, and it also leaked the near final version before the game was set to come out. it may have sold 4 million but it had far larger ground to cover to get into the black. Stardroid
Personally, I would be really interested in seeing what ND can do with this. From a trophy hunting perspective, I have a goal of 100 games at 100 percent and it would be nice to spend time on games that are open world like Dragon's Dogma and just a blast without having to "worry" about trophies. I actually hope they make a game like this.

So what's the magic number? If having the best launch for a PS4 exclusive wasn't enough, how much was Sony expecting the game to sell at launch to recoup their losses? 5 million? 7 million? Was it supposed to outsell the lifetimes sales of the first game in its first week? And even if we go with your unfounded claims as fact, how does The Last of Us II's sales performance reflect poorly on Naughty Dog, instead of Sony having unrealistic expectations? Thrillhelm
They might learn a thing or two from Gearbox who fooled gamers with Aliens: Cilonial Marines' false advertising and budget shifting to Borderlands 2 and got the backlash from that when they released Battleborn. Some customers do not forget who tried to trick them.
Dangisuckatgamin
If it turns out to be a sort of medieval and/or fantasy style RPG I'll take interest. Definitely not buying until it's much cheaper though. Nothing against Naughty Dog though, just not paying the $60-70 price point anymore.
